He's told me so many times how some of the army guys were saved because there senior officer ran through flames to rescue one guy.

How many times, Henry DID NOT START INVICTUS. It was a collaboration with his father, brother, sister in law and the royal foundation. I am a retired nurse practitioner who used to work at a Veteran Affairs medical hospital. Many former co-workers are veterans themselves, and they are more worthy of this award than he. They risked their lives to serve our country. After discharge and despite their injuries, physical and/or mental, they continue to serve their country by helping their fellow veterans by working or volunteering at the VA hospitals. Many of them form additional groups, including sporting ones to offer additional support. They're not getting paid one cent for the additional work. They're not doing it for the fame or glory. They did it because their military family members needed them. When you talk about hard work or mental health or loyalty or honor, you look and listen to these true heroes and not Parking Lot Fraud and Prince Hazbeen. It is because these veterans, we Americans enjoy many freedom, including the freedom of speech. What did Hazbeen do other than try to muffle the our voices and spread lies or uses his late mother to make an extra buck. I am disgusted.

I’m not sure the award stipulates it has to go to an American. But it does stipulate it should go to someone who achieved in sports and a real Veteran who served. We know that Harry had a 24/7 team of body guards keeping him safe and away from the action. Pat Tillman didn’t have that luxury. No real Veteran does. We have heard many stories about Harry’s supposed “service” of being protected and playing video games.
It’s well known that Harry didn’t “found” Invictus. It was modeled on the American Warrior Games and developed in a joint venture of multiple Royals in the Royal Foundation and the Ministry of Defense. The Prince of Wales donated his 7- figure court winnings to Invictus.
It seems the antithesis of heroism not to give credit to others.
Most patrons donate their time and money. It’s not what we’ve seen with this ex-working prince who allegedly expects payment and luxuries from Invictus.
For all the times we fall short in the U.S., I believe we strongly value striving for ideals such as loyalty and honor beyond the self.
I do not see evidence of that ideal or conduct in Harry’s public actions.
The fact Harry opposed the Gold Star Mother and insisted he deserved her son’s reflected glory tells me all I need to know about Harry’s “heroism.”

Thank you. I get so tired of PR saying that he did. It is well known that Invictus was modeled on the American Warrior Games and that Harry didn’t do that all by himself. The Royal Foundation did, including the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Then patronage of it was given to Harry. But real patrons *donate* their time and money. Harry turned it into a vehicle for himself and his wife, all kinds of fees and luxuries for them.
IMO Harry in no way deserves this award. Show me *any* real Veteran who seeks to be singled out. Real heroes stand for qualities beyond the self. Harry doesn’t appear to know how to do that, my opinion.

Sir Keith Mills (London Olympics and Paralympics) led the coalition that founded Invictus. They used the US Wounded Warriors as their paradigm, which in turn was based on the Paralympics. Along with Mills' team, there was a Palace team of Royal Foundation staff led by William POW and Catherine POW, and an MOD team. After Invictus was created, Harry was brought in as Patron.
Correct. Why can't some of these commentators get that right. The idea for the Invictus was copied from the American Wounded Warrior games, which KC set up for his worthless dumb drug addict son for something worthwhile to do. All H ever did was use the Invictus for his monetary gain and not for the veterans.

According to reports, Harry asked his Granny to copy the American Warrior Games in the UK. He wanted to be patron; she agreed. Then, Sir Keith Mills, who had organized the London Olympic Games, was pressured to step up and organize the Invictus Games. Harry did none of the work.

Willam gave £1 million pounds (the recompense for newspaper hacking) to found the Invictus Games. Harry had just left the Army and was given the patronage so he had something to do. As you say, others have done all the hard graft in organising and running the Games.
And since his wife joined, Invictus expenditures have gone through the roof, and not on the Vrterans...
The Ministry of Defence was also heavily involved as was Edward Lane Fox. Haz couldn't organise a proverbial P up in a brewery! 🙄🙄
Take a look at photos of Harry while deployed. His uniforms and boots are immaculately clean and look new. His being in a "war zone" was PR only. Harry never saw action except on his X Box.

This Award to Bunker H is an insult to Pat Tillman and his Mother. Bunker Harry certainly does not deserve this Award, did Bunker H and PR Team pay for this Award as it seems the Sussex’s alleged buy Awards to make them look good and feel better. As both Sussex’s are untrustworthy, cannot believe what they say. H did not Pass his tests for Helicopter Licence, he failed a few times, never received his Helicopter Licence. It’s all lies. H also had 6-8 Gurkhas Security protecting him 24/7, he was quickly taken off Base when there was going to be Drugs and Alcohol testing so Harry wouldn’t be tested. When on leave there were many reports of H being very abusive to females, he was with allegedly! some reported H to the Police in Afghanistan and the Base. Some females were paid hush money to keep quiet allegedly. Bunker H was never on front lines fighting. He was well looked after while in Afghanistan his tent where he slept he had all things to make himself comfortable, even cooling system/ Air Con because of some of his equipment he had using to keep cool. Playing his Video War Games, most likely pretending he was on front lines fighting killing the other side. Media needs to check really how long bunker Harry was overseas in Afghanistan etc, How many weeks altogether, he was not there over a year or years. Bunker Harry was what the guys called him, because he was in his Bunker playing his games not fighting on front lines. H should be removed from Invictus it’s became a charity for H and MM high life style. Check out how much the Sussex’s take out from Invictus for their Private Jets, luxury accommodations, all of MM clothes, jewellery, staff, dining out, wine, H clothes etc, etc, why should Invictus be paying for this the charity should be helping the Veterans and their family! They have to find the money to pay for their own travelling certainly not by Private Jets or high class accommodations. Allegedly. Shame on giving the Award to Harry who does not deserve it!

I love history & from WWI & all the wars since, I have NEVER heard of a vet/former soldier publicly tell the whole world of their 'kill count'. That alone outweighs all Harry has done for Invictus. Real men may tell their family/wife but I don't think they do. Pat's Mum will be the one I will be thinking of when Harry gets this award. In fact if Harry was any real man, he would politely decline the award. Yet he is not a real man so he will get up there, go blah blah blah & Megain will pat him on the head when they get home. IMO, the award must have already been hollow if Harry could grab it (my opinion).
Apparently, Harry played soldiers for a while, and now it appears he wants to play “heroes.” Who knows his motivation, or if he has any clue at all. A real hero would never insist on limelight for himself.
A real hero would never demand glory for himself.
