I hate windows and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong ... I've been following all these instructions but it just gives me all sorts of weird stuff that I don't understand ... guess I'll just continue to play on Mac without this but at least my mods work ...

You might have to download an older version of reshade for it to work
whenever i load up my game it says that reshade has been installed and crashes at the loading screen? i dont know why its doing this when i followed the right steps??
im so sorry, i really dont know why that is happening. does a crash/error log come up when the game crashes or is there just nothing?
@@levitqtegamesapparently it’s the new sims update it won’t allow us to use GShade or Reshade I have tried everything
I followed instructions but I'm not getting the popup saying it's installed in sims 4, I put a preset anyways just in case but the preset doesn't seem to be showing up as expected, does anyone know how to fix this?
does anything come up at all? like even an error message?
@@levitqtegames I fixed it! I accidentally chose the Direct 10/11/12 option and not the 9, but it is saying that a file called perfect perspective isn't compiled or something like that
Thank you. Do you know if you can use reshade with the graphics card that comes with a basic HP pavilion PC that has Intel graphics. I hope that makes sense lol.
hi, to be honest with you i haven't got a clue, i'm not the best with computer parts and knowing the difference between graphics cards unfortunately. however, if you go onto reshade.me they have their own forum tab at the top of their website, i'm sure if you look in there there will be some discussions about graphics cards and which can/can't support the plugin :)
Hi thank you for the simple tutorial ! I'm just having an issue... The bar where you need to press home doesn't appear in my game even though i followed step by step your tutorial. Do you know why ?

@@Satomeyy that’s really weird i’m not sure why that’s happening. you’ve downloaded presets onto your computer right? is there any sort of folder icon button where the bar should be?
idk if the update but nothing happened, like nothing really. maybe Ill wait for the next expansion
@@loumarymorales106 i think i heard that one of the recent updates has messed with reshade. i’ll make an updated tutorial soon when i’ve figured out what’s happened :)
@@levitqtegames yeah I think that too cuz I used to have sweetfx and don't work anymore so I delete it and search for reshade. All happened after the last kit download. My game broken too , is a mess even without any mods, I'll wait for next expansion hopefully it will work. Gonna save this video for later, thanks for the video.
Everything's worked fine but the message tells me that there's an error that some effects couldn't be loaded, and I can't seem to open the ReShade menu no matter what I do.

okok what if you dont have the sims on ur desktop?
where is ur sims icon then? if its in ur taskbar you should be able to do the same thing, if you play the sims through the EA app, there should be a button somewhere that shows the file location i’ll check when im on my pc later

@@chantellemakoni8714 just press install unless you already have an older version of reshade in your game already
@@levitqtegames you should make an updated tutorial because Reshade just had an update and maybe that’s why it’s different to download. You don’t have to btw 💗
