Well hello there!
Welcome to another installment in my Abandonware series.
Pretty much the same as the last one, just uploading most of my scrapped videos just so you can what happens when a video doesn't go right or when I just give up on it.
Filmed only a few days after the last one, this one is just testing some older and newer phones and just casually rambling. This was of course in 2020 and things weren't the best.
I gave up on this one due it being late in the night and I guess the other job lots I was working on were more important. Actually while I am writing this, I am trying to get this N-Gage QD working, it has shown life but nothing concrete yet!
As always, I do hope you enjoy this one regardless and I hope you learn something new or get a laugh from this silly video.
Thanks for tuning in and once again thank you for 100K!
(I know I need to do the giveaway, I am working it all out!)
Be good people!

Greetings all and welcome back to another videos that's ended up as Abandonware.
Which is just unfinished videos that were sitting in my archive that I've decided to edit and release.
I edited this fairly quick and I thought I'd upload it, don't worry the 100K giveaway is pretty much ready to go just have to film it and get it ready!
Thanks so much everyone, I do appreciate you all :)
congrats on the 100k my man, lets hope you get to 1m soon
Gotta love old phones, each one was very unique, its own design and some had features others didn't.
I kinda miss them. That's why i love collecting old phones and already have a few phones
10:07 OMG I freggin LOVED the Samsung Mirage (Samsung i780)
It had BOTH a touchpad mouse and a touch screen. Definitely ahead of its time. I encourage you to play with the i780 and other windows mobile phones a little bit more. They're mildly addicting. I loved having one years ago. I sometimes still pull out my old Trēo 700w and play around with it whenever I'm feeling nostalgic.
Also, great video. As always.
For future job lots,id like to see a camera test on the phones that obviously power up and have cameras and half decent batteries. Just a thought! Love your content Shane and congrats on 100k!!
We have getting our first snow fall in my part of the UK! Unfortunately, where I live we never get deep snow. Good stream btw! 👍👍👍👍👍
This is a fun series! Love your vids, great to wind down after work with.
The Cisco device is more likely to be an IP phone so it's probably looking for a wifi connection instead
I was well engaged lol. Some very interesting looking phones.
The windows phones really peaked my Interest and that awesome Samsung really grabbed my attention.
I like the abandonware name. Lol ❤
Back in the day I remember they weredoing an event here in Hamburg Germany were you could test and play on the ngage. Was impressive having a phone that could really do good games ...like tomb raider. For a phone at this time period it looked great
Yes
The fun with the Sony Ericson P800/P900 phones is that you can remove the keyboard completely something apple would take another 5 years for apple to be the "first" company to remove the keyboard with the iphone....
I also had the Nokia 3650. Was fun playing N-Gage games and still having a usable phone ;-)
I really like your videos.
I find them relaxing, I don't know why 😅.
Anyway, please do a video about Ngage. Or any other odd smartphone, if you can.
Cheers from Europe mate .
We used the Cisco as our work phones back when I worked at Toys"R"us in Denmark. Quite fun to see it again!
You were so close, MVP stands for Most Valuable Player! 😂
You are just like me! I also LOVE these old phones! I can't get enough of these! And i live in a country where these old nuggets still get service! So it is cool to walk about with a 3310, blasting the Nokia Tune towards a bunch of older people! Funny to see that some instinctively go for the pocket where they keep their phone :p And when young people see this, they are all fascinated by the "thing" i am carrying around, and yes, they do ask questions! I hope they keep the 2- and 3g networks alive in my country! I'm thinking about making videos about the old nuggets i have, to show what WAP and UMTS browsing looks like! Some of them are advanced enough to do full websites! And man, the 3200!! My first ever camera phone! I saw a friend rocking one of these and i asked him about it, he agreed that it was the coolest looking phone at that time! I went to the store the day after and got it as well! This thing survived a dive in the bad! Man, good times!
Fun fact, that "touchpad" as you called it, is basically an upside-down optical mouse! :)
I had a Samsung Omnia i900 as a daily driver for a couple of years which had a similar mouse feature :)
The htc phones with the windows os were certainly interesting . I wonder does Smooz have the htc models like the S740 , S730 , S710 , MTeoR , S310 .Also the nokia 6600 . That was a legendary phone .
love those old pocketpcs.. they were lifesavers to me. when i lived in spain on a mountain without electricity for 22hrs a day lol. had doom on it and other games
41:53 Yayy another mad hax from... 🎉🎉
Those Nokia phones look so cool
you can add 5 v to battery pins just to give them a little juice so u know it aint really dead
Lovin the retro ones doe
The LG chocolate, you forgot to mention the selfie mirror on the back...
If I'm correct this Dopod phone was launched in 2006 or something, I probably remember that O2 UK also sold an similar phone of it's own XDA Line.
Also that KG800 is such a cool phone.
I absolutely adore the KG800.
happy 100k subs
I think you should keep the same mouse forever and so we can see ever scrape cut and stain and where and when it happened.
A historical piece of art
birthday upload, yay
Anyway just take ur own time to edit man, I appreciate ur videos, keep up the great work tho🤞🏻
The Artemis? Hard to come by? I got like two of them.
i dont think on phone one even if that corner was not damaged it never was waterproof in first place
8:07 bruh, some of those are better than mine, ahh, why isn't stuff like that here?
Anyone remember the name of the "mp3 phone" it was red and black and had the controls for music down the left side of the screen as far as I can remember. I can't remember the brand, I thought it was a Sony Ericsson but I can't seem to find it.
That would be part of the Nokia XpressMusic series. The 5700 for example has them. There's the 5300 that's a slider. 5310 is a candybar etc. Hope that's the ones!
@@SMOOREZ yes that's it! The nostalgia. Not sure why I thought it was a Sony device.
