@@atifashhabatif8391 i don't think ianxofour's videos are inaccessible or difficult to understand. maybe people are put off when he explains complicated mechanics, but he deliberately makes it easy to skip those parts.
if the shulkercraft guys only wanted to spread knowledge, and weren't after money, they would make a short announcement video or a community post that points to ianxofour's video. this would be a lot less effort for them.
i sympathise with them because trying to use youtube as an income source is honestly brutal. but seeing this from them, i unsubscribed and stopped watching their stuff.

FINALLY ianxofour get recognition, he is an absolute genius and his farm are all crazy powerful and super easy and easy to use he is honestly so underrated.

Agreed, idk if I have any other farm in my world except his ones.
I think the reason behind his underrating is his presentation. People like to watch videos which are more appealing and understandable to watch. For example, Rays works and Ilmango, both of them added a little "confidence" to their commentary, which make them sound a lot better. I think IanXOfour should improve his commentary skills, and possibly add a proper intro/outro to his vids,, that might help him.
UA-cam is all about the strategies of how you can represent your creation before your viewers.

The hardest part about this farm isn't building it, It's finding a fortress in the soul sand valley biome.
Edit: to all those ppl saying chunkbade works, my guy, u can search for fortress but u cant search for fortress in a specific biome, so u have to look through every single of them

yes, there has been a massive lack of publicly available technical designs that take into account constraints of limited resources, building time, lack of elytra etc.
usually, people who are interested in technical are playing in worlds that already have lots of resources. so it takes someone who is passionate enough to design farms they don't actually need

This is a great farm. I just had an issue with them staying in the portal, so i added a golem bait at the other side of the killing chamber. And it works very well in the warped forest too. Thanks a lot.

This is SO RELIEVING to finally have a working farm for something as strenuous as wither skeleton skulls. I have the jankiest problems when making farms and contraptions but this one worked seemingly wonderful, what a bless. GG to ian for the design

If anyone has problem in skeletons staying in the overworld and not coming in the killing chamber, make sure that there is no mob farm running in the overworld with chunk loader or in spawn chunks(mine was shulker farm in spawn). When i turned off the shulker farm , wither skeletons started to come through in the killing chamber
like a manual mob farm where you stand and kill them ? what about an iron farm or a crop farm ?

Hey thank you, had my shulker farm running in spawn chunks, couldn't get enough skeletons to bunch up to push each other towards the higher portal. Tried all sorts of methods, like putting an iron golem at one end and a wolf at the other, destroying the portals and relighting them, but yours was an idea I hadn't even thought of. Turned that thing off and now the farm is working like a charm again. Saved me (and my sanity) from spawnproofing the spawn radius, so thanks a ton.

The nether fortress can also be in a warped forest biome. Both of these biomes use a special game mechanic to limit spawn in the biome. Since there will be very less or no spawns outside the fortress bounding box, no need to spawnproof.
That isn true BUT the soul valley is still a bit better cause there are more skeleton spawns IF what ive heard is true
I also made this farm in warped forest but Skelton is spawning slowly any solution
@@devantheyoutuber3901 Well the Best Way to make it better is probably by spawn proofing wich will take AGES but i hope it will help also you can Maybe use wither roses on the platform so No blazes spawn even Tho he said you can just jump and they will despawn

@@devantheyoutuber3901 Maybe you have made the spawning platform at a wrong y level and there is another spot at that y level where mobs can spawn or maybe there are a lot of blazes that have accumulated on the platform. Make sure to jump.
This farm is Amazing! I built this in 1.18.2 and it worked, I didn't build this in a soul sand valley i built in a open space where there is lava, there may be some land but it still worked amazingly, 11 shulkers out of 10!
So is the soul sand place just so you dont have to mob proof?
@@averykillian7143 So in soul sand valleys there are more Wither Skeletons spawning than other nether mobs so you have more Wither Skeletons. You can also build this in Warped forest but i recommend the soul sand valley

shulkercraft guys have no technical background
so he isnt capable enough to even compare to ianxofour
and doing this is just views stealing
people who search this on yt will now get shulkercraft's video first rather than ians
so this is taking away views and not giving
The problem here is that Shulkercraft will now benefit from just copying IanXOfour’s farm and making a video about it. Sure, Ian gets some exposure, but it’s coming from a channel (Shulkercraft) that just farms these technical Minecraft player’s inventions for content. Shulkercraft doesn’t need to make these tutorial videos, they could easily do showcases and heavily plug the original creator. This video needs to translate into more engagement on IanXOfour’s UA-cam channel, and that’s just not how things work out most of the time.
To anyone whos having a problem with the skeletons running into the wall where the iron golem is, put more walls around it and lower the portal 1 block

@Joel Gil I made the same mistake as you. How did you fix it? Did you just lower the killing chamber portals and platform by one block or did you have to lower the overworld portals/redo or relink them as well? Thanks!
This farms seems a little over whelming because of the portals but following step by step instructions from this video makes it really easy to understand and makes its very easy to build
I'm actually higly used to link portals now, so for me the difficulty turns around finding a nether fortress in a soul sand valley biome that is 100 blocks away from other biomes, that sounds pretty sick.
I have been trying to sync these damn portals for 40 minutes ,I AM HAVING A FUCKING HEART ATTACK

SOOO i hava a problem and i hope you can help me. i didnt knew how to get bach to the spawning platform from the netherroof... so i went through that portal which didnt had a door and a wall. know i spawned in a cave at cords i never saw before. what now?
Worked like a charm first try! Gets going very fast and the rates are very good (I got 1 stack of coal and 2 heads in less than a minute when I first tested it). Most difficult part is finding a suitable fortress and dealing with mobs while you're building, would definitely recommend spawnproofing the area the make your life easier

@@just_jonathan3222 Yeahh u can use the portal behind you( ensure that i break it) and walk back to ur home. Enter the nether with ur stuff and break bedrock again. Ensure to break one block from the portal behind you in the kill spot and relight it

when i first stumbled on his channel last year i thought calling his own series "elegance" was a bit pretentious but the farms are very good for early game
For early game? His stacking raid farm is awesome for the late game but can be built early game. Or shulkerfarm is incredibly fast and easy to build

this farm is awsome, i was worries as piglins were spawning when building the platform but then i realised the eggs take them out of spawn range by 1 block, genius build!
use wither rose so no piglin spawn or blaze
This is so OP. I remember when I played last year and built the traditional farm and spent probably 4-5 hours trying to spawn proof the area. That was after I spent hours farming up a 150 or so chickens and 3 wither skulls to fight the wither and get the wither roses.
Omg so I just started building this on my HC world and didn't start 1 block lower. Idk how I stayed on y-80. I just got done building the first portal after the golem jail. Don't really want to tear everything down. What happens when you don't build 1 block down from the highest fortress point?

Giving credit to original creator should not be something to be thanked for. Like many other thing you don't say thank you to someone because he did not steal from you.
And I don't know about this video but you need to ask to the original creator if they don't mind you making a tutorial of their farms. I know shulkercraft did not ask for some time but I saw them ask creator more recently so as long as they are in agreement with the original creator it's fine.
I still think that the original tutorial was good enough to build the farm and this video wasn't really needed but that's something else.

@@XQR_DeV it sends me back to the over world yes...but it stops the farm from working....had to break that port and walk all the way back ( i didnt, i teleported) but i went into the nether n back to the farm and i had to break 1 obsidian from the portal behind me n replace it then the farm worked again
I just used creative and made a hole to my ladder🤷🏾♂️ aint gonna waste hours of my life making tnt glitch
@@guanedits6349 Well when you use that portal it is more than 128 blocks away from the other portals in the overworld. To use the farm just go back to the killing chamber. It takes a couple of minutes for the overworld side to fill up. Sorry but this is the only other thing I can tell ya. Hope this helps 🙂

I just built this today, was a lot easier than I was thinking. Took maybe an hour total, and that is including finding my own bounding box since there is no mod available for 1.19, and my highest point. After that I created an item sorter. I sat AFK with an autoclicker on, and I think the total time was about 2 hours and 15 minutes. I have exactly 4 chests full of bones, 3 chests full of coal, and 310 wither skulls. I literally wont need this farm anymore the rates are incredible.
how did you find your own bounding box?
@@rezq1623 I'd recommend watching ianxofour's video on this, he explains how to do it without the mod that's not longer available.
just built this farm in my Hardcore world for the first time, it took me around 1.5-2 hours max to collect and build the farm. It works VERY well, I got 3 skulls in about 10 seconds after 2 or 3 minutes of waiting for them to come through. In my last hardcore world I built one where I spawn proofed the entire area and it was WAY slower than this one. 10/10. Great farm and extremely easy to build, the only challenging part is actually finding a matching fortress.

You could do an automatic bamboo farm instead and hook it up to an auto-smelter
I used this design recently to make my first ever wither skeleton farm. It was really easy and works great! Best part is honestly the coal since it’s a little harder to get in 1.19

Takes a bit of time to get everything up and running, but once you do it’s well worth it. Got 21 skulls in 10 minutes.
Definitely do bring invisibility or at least fire resistance potions to the nether though, I did it without those and it was a huge inconvenience. Was on fire basically the entire build and wasted a ton of time trying to swat away ghasts and blazes with my bow.

I watched Ian’s video for a deeper understanding into the farm, but used this vid to build it. Even tho I was scriptural if it would work, it did. And seamlessly so if I might add I got skulls by the second and my only problem was picking them up because of all the shit I had in my inventory

For anyone panicking about finding a nether fortress thats in a soul sand valley with no other biome 100 blocks away, its fine. The farm is the one supposed to be 100 blocks away. Not the fortress

For those having trouble having connecting the platform portal to the overworld section,
Don't ask me why or how this works, but to get mine working, I basically had to ignore the video for where to build the overworld portion. Instead of following the coordinates, I built in the chunk the platform portal was sending me to, but I did reuse the y levels that the first attempt used. After rebuilding that portion, I managed to get the portals to link up and now I have more coal and bones than I know what to do with. Hopefully this is sensible enough to help some people out.
Also, if you can get to the nether roof with a different means than overworld portaling, such as bedrock breaking, then that second nether roof portal with the door and wall is essentially useless. All that did for me was act as a red herring while I tried to troubleshoot the portals.
The portal step at 10:59 works for me but no withers end up coming through. I even went back thro to check and see and none were in the bridge part. Was this the problem you had? Could you help me plez?
@@thelonewanderer4084 Like I mentioned in my original comment, you'll have to test the issue by going through the spawn platform portal. If that portal does not connect to the overworld bridge, then you'll have to move to where the portal is sending you. You can keep the y-axis the same as the first bridge, though. That doesn't matter, at least it didn't for me.
I have the problem that 2 portals are linked together and also the wither skeletons donte even spawn I have the most complex farms in the game never had an issue can you please help?

built the gold farm then then a magma farm for a bigger gold farm but realized that magma farms suck and just got the blocks manually and built a mega gold farm and now i want beacons

ianxofour getting some well deserved recognition.
This is not good recognition because now Shulkercraft’s video will appear ahead of IanXOfour’s video. This will make Ian’s video receive less engagement and therefore less money. Shulkercraft doesn’t have the technical skill or creativity to come up with these farms, so when they copy them and just repost, it hurts the original creators by stealing engagement.

They find designs, “create” tutorial videos for them, then release those videos without consulting the original creator. Shulkercraft then gets to make money off the advertisements on the video. This creates a situation where the person who actually put the work and effort to create the design get NO meaningful benefit (at most, a few hundred views on a video) and Shulkercraft is rewarded for effectively stealing someone else’s work.
If Shulkercraft offered compensation to the original creators, or even just asked them first, then this situation would be different-Shulkercraft would instead be a channel which collaborates with creators and makes tutorials FOR those creators, rather than being a channel that profits off of others.
I can sum this up with a simple hypothetical: You are an lesser known artist and I am a popular social media influencer. One day you sculpt a beautiful, blue vase and share it online. Then, I create the exact same vase as you and begin to sell copies online, but I make sure to mention you as the “inspiration.” Would that okay with you? A quick tip for people building this on multiplayer, put ur friend or ur alt account next to the nether portal in the overworld so that the wither skeletons don't despawn or else u will get 0 skeletons . This is only for multiplayer , when there are players in the overworld , singleplayer world will do just fine .

@@steveplaceholder6522 This is actually stealing from IanXOfour because Shulkercraft will now get more views than IanXOfour due to how the UA-cam algorithm promotes certain videos. Also, Shulkercraft didn’t even ask for permission to share the farm-which could have easily been done through IanXOfour’s UA-cam comments or Discord.
Furthermore, Shulkercraft has to put no effort, only copies the build and content from IanXOfour. Therefore, Shulkercraft is stealing from IanXOfour because views equal money.

Works perfectly! Also i added some hoppers and chests and replaced the slabs with campfires and now the skeletons are dying automatically when im afk, this is just what i needed
place dogs on both sides on pistons and make so you can turn on/off afk mode, ez

Anyway i had to break that protal i came through so the farm could start working again.

just built this in my 500 day survival world in 1.20.1 java and it works amazing! i get 8 skulls every 5 mins thanks so much
Tip : You can put wither roses on that spwning platform so that no other mobs spawn. Hope that doesn't break the farm. And also, I think using wither roses may not require using walls to prevent magma cubes from spawning 😄

ours only works if someone is around the cobweb platform too, thus requiring 2 players to keep active; if we go to that platform in spectator mode with no one around, we can see wither skeletons coming out the portal, but immediately despawning, then once the spectator changes to surv/creative, the skeletons start massing as seen at 11:18
@@titonbrujah After building this farm and doing some testing on a 1.20.1 Realms server. It seams like if a player is in the overworld, and they are not by the portals the mobs will despawn. But if no players are in the overworld the portals will work fine. You will just have to wait a few minutes for the gap to fill.
That’s won’t work since you need walls to actually hold up the turtle eggs

I had this issue where the wither skeleton doesn't go into the portal bec of the frame being 1 block high from the stairs. I fixed it by lowering the bottom portal frame to match the stairs. After that, you'll add 126 block to it's y coord. If you finished the whole farm and have the same issue, do the first part of lowering the portal frame but leave the coords. It's already y+126 at that point

I didn't have to do this to get it fixed I just had to hit one wither skeleton. Afterwards they all were good Bois and got murdered :3

this farm still works in 1.19.3 just remember to get enough ender pearls to get on the nether roof and bring stuff to destroy bedrock so you can get up and down more easily
If you're having trouble getting wither skeleton spawns, try lowering down the spawn portal (on the platform you built on the fortress) by 1.
That fixed my problem with spawns. Also get rid of any other light source include fire and stuff near the platform.

Got Scared At First When There Was No Skeletons On The Other Side, You Just Gotta Wait For Them To Gather Up, Amazing Farm!
Works perfectly. Hardest part was finding fortress in soul sand valley. Mine is nearly 7000 blocks away from the main portal.
You can add 2 dogs to increase the rates by 10 percent (as shown in ianxofour's video)
IMPORTANT NOTE: PAY ATTENTION to CHEST cords when placing the them, they are lower than one block and may throw you off of the bounding box!

@@danda_77 Standing on the chest shows around y.8, but it should round to the nearest block above. When building this a few months ago, I forgot to check the decimal and ended up having to rebuild everything

My 2 year old HC world now has many beacons because of this farm. I also added a sorting system to sort the drops and dump the stone swords. Yesterday I accidently flew into it and nearly ended my world. 10/10.

Totally agree. I don’t see the point in them making a video when the original video is perfectly fine with a regularly updated description and an active discord community for IanXOfour’s UA-cam. This video is just stealing money from him.
this is par for the course for shulkercraft. honestly i used to really enjoy the channel when it first started, but as times has gone on the only useful content they put out are just recreations of another creators machine, minus important points. its always better to go to the original creator and follow their tutorial as they tend to actually understand the machine and can troubleshoot / provide help in the comments
