  • COSMO'S FACTORY/FOGERTY'S FACTORY
While self-quarantining together the Fogerty Family recreated the cover of Cosmo’s Factory transforming it to Fogerty’s Factory. The family have also taken to their home studio during this isolation to create some music together, The Family Band.
“Bringing a little light from our home to yours. We are having a little family fun together during the pandemic. It's such a great feeling to be making and playin' music surrounded by love. We all need to celebrate the life we have and remember how precious it is. I love music, I am listening every day. Makes everything feel better for me. Put the records on, pull out the old guitar, turn the radio up.. and dance to the music!” - John Fogerty

While the Quarantine continues the Fogerty Family - Shane and Tyler (Hearty Har) and Kelsy - will be joining their Dad for some musical fun covering songs from the classic Fogerty collection.
Another Fogerty, Bob Fogerty who took the original album cover, came in to shoot the re-make. Released in 1970 Cosmo's Factory turns 50 in July and Fogerty's 50 Year Trip continues!

When the Covid-19 outbreak started, I had no idea that John Fogerty was going to be the one celebrity to step up to the plate and really deliver something useful during these times. Way to go John and family.

These are historic times in that the greats do this at this time when they dont have to. I am 67 and John Fogerty and the others such as Neil Sedaka do these things from the heart to help others. What a great pleasure it is after these decades to see these people are still doing fine and its in their blood to perform to provide for others.--for absolutely zero possible financial gain.

John, first of all,THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, and thank you so much for the Music that you enriched the World with. I too am a Vietnam ERA Veteran. I joined the US Army in 1973 as a Seventeen year old and am now 65 years old. My Father had to co-sign so I could join because I was considered a Minor. Your songs are so fun and interesting and I have had a blast over my time when I was the Lead Singer in several Bands that we had here in El Paso, Tx. I could always count on songs like, "Who'll Stop The Rain", "Proud Mary", "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" and many more to absolutely fill the Dance floor immediately when we would just start playing the intro. But I have watched you during this Covid-19 Virus, and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your Children perform with you and they are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! But with your personal touch of telling the stories and along with the performances of the songs, you almost make me feel like I am a part of your Family too!!!!
The other thing that has always impressed me about you is how gracious you are always to your fans. You are truly a special man and from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful gift that you share with us in these Videos with your talented Kids. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in your Family, that's for sure!! God Bless you and your Family.

In the "Twilight Zone," the movie, the last episode has a scene I think, has John Lithgow being put in an ambulance and a CCR song is played, and the spaced out Lithgow yells. "I love Creedence." My sentiments exactly. I have most of Fogerty's music and just love it. He is an American treasure. Play on John, play on, keep rockin'.

Probably my favorite CCR song. Such a fantastic tune all the way around, but those guitar licks are what made it stand out for me. Then the incredibly evocative lyrics and John’s powerful and unique voice. It really doesn’t get any better. How did a kid from El Cerrito come up with this stuff? It really is amazing.

My oh my, have the times changed. One of the true geniuses of the 60's & 70's still sounds fantastic and his body of work is as timeless as it is charming. Love the family angle that this goddam virus has wrought -- maybe the ONLY thing about it that is fun, in the moment. Thank the gods that UA-cam, for all its faults, exists -- and is so accessible. You can work at your PC or whatever and listen to stories from the one and only John Fogerty. Amazing.
