I don't live far from where IKWYDLS was filmed. I've went and watched the movie inside what was Helen's families store , and we got to explore all the chase scenes throughout the store , it was awesome! Also watched the movie where Helen gets crowned The Croker Queen and Muse Watson ( The Fishmen) was there with us. He took pics hooking each of us up in the balcony of the theater like he did Barry, lol.
The makers of "The Walking Dead" stated early on in the series that they would never kill Carl. They said that Carl represented hope for the future, and if his character died, then there would be no reason to continue telling the story. They sure f*cked that up! I know there are a ton of spin-offs, but I honestly don't know anyone who is watching them. I, personally, stopped watching when Negan showed up. And I don't think that was a "jump the shark" moment, I just lost interest. They did the whole Glenn death fake-out thing only to end up killing him anyway. I just stopped caring after that.
My mom watched the final seasons and has watched at least four or five seasons of Fear The Walking Dead and also the Daryl Dixon spin off. I kinda hate all of it tbh
Supposedly, the actor was about to turn old enough to be considered an adult, meaning they'd have to pay him more. I don't know if that's true, but it's one of the theories I heard as to why Carl was killed off, and why the actor was surprised too.
I feel Fall of the House of Usher deserves a mention for the acid rain scene. I skipped that entire scene and muted it because I literally couldn’t handle it.

Huge one for me was when Art pulled out a gun in Terrifier and shot Tara to death. Not only was she set up to be the "final girl", but a Slasher using a gun to kill their victim is relatively unheard of.
In Slasher, Cassie's acid death is certainly memorable, but it's hardly the most WTF moment of that season. How could you think that's more jaw dropping than the biology teacher getting dissected alive? That was the most WTF moment out of most seasons of Slasher. There aren't many deaths more wild than that one in the entire series.

Like... I was pissed for weeks 😤😭

I wasn't going to watch it since I really liked the original, and I like Eliza Dushku and Desmond Harrington. I looked it up and found out it was written by the guy who wrote the original, so I decided to watch it. Glad I did. It was really good. Loved the ending.
Malignant is "gonna be talked about for a long long time" because you already have the clips, and are too lazy to cut new clips out of movies that you haven't already covered a thousand times.

Agree completely with Carl's death. I wanted to stop after Glen but I was promised good things by fans still watching. So I continued and didn't mind the show, but then they killed Carl and I lost all investment. I was gonna finish out the series but the moment they basically had Rick talk to Negan about joining him and helping him look after Ricks group I gave up. I don't remember exactly if he pursued legal action or not but I hope Chandler was able to get legal compensation for that BS, cause it was definitely the end of my love for the show.

She never backed down, she DEMANDED answers, SHE DIDNT LET MEN WALK ALL OVER HER, and in the 98 remake, SHE AT LEAST GOT TO KICK THE MURDERING BASTARD! One of the reason I love that version as well as the superior original. Yes underrated woman character, but underrated CHARACTER full stop most of all!

2 things- 1. The Burning has to have the absolute worst murder weapon ever (Hedging Shears) seriously! 2. The Walking Dead Carl! The reason for killing Carl off was because in real life Chandler Riggs father decides to get greedy! Yes we all know Carl is the hero in the comic book. So Riggs father goes to the producer's and demands more money for Chandler and says he won't work until he gets a hefty pay raise! Well bad move they decide to kill Carl and make his baby sister Judith the comic books new protagonist! So much for being the main player everyone is replaceable!

Then they make Carl’s little sister become similarly annoying by being “the best among us” in basically every scene she was in. Such activities might be good for a kids’ show, but would be accompanied with a bunch of other, equally unrealistic goofiness written into the rest of the characters, completely changing the audience.
I stopped watching after Carl was killed off. The meet crazies, fight for your life, kill main charaters, rinse repeat, the writing really started to suck, anyway.

To me "Malignant" is notable for probably the only movie ever made showing some super fighter character slaughtering a number of females in a single scene. Don't thing so? Name one. Just one. Especially by a female. It's always a number of males. ALWAYS! It's actually a fetish. One a lot of men seem to love. Even in this movie they couldn't leave it at that. They just HAD to follow it up with her slaughtering a number of males right afterwards. Only one female cop shown in the whole place. And she was the only one to survive as is also often the case.
I had heard that American Horror Story was really good. Sadly after one episode i saw it was horrific but not in a blood and guts kind of way but in a fudge packing way. There was more fudge packing in one episode then a week at an O'Henry factory. Absolutely disgusting!.
If you didn't like Murder House you can start further in. It's an anthology series and it's only Apocalypse that's calls back to earlier series. Asylum, Coven and Freak Show are the best three seasons. They are very Jessica Lange heavy and just sublime.
