Actually, any chance of showing some photos of the chair and you in the chair or at least your dimensions (height?) to get a sense of how it fits different bodies. That seems to be one area that is a bit iffy.
I'm 5ft 9 (175 cm), and 14st 12 (208 lb or 94 kg), and there is space either side on the seat. If I can convince my partner, I may be able to get some seated pics at an angle that doesn't show the state of my room! Hope that helps for now, at least
Good luck getting a valid shipping link. They have pretty much ghosted the thousands of backers and pre order customers and have no stock. No updates, no responses. May not have started off as a scam, but it has definitely turned into one. 3 years on and I've never dealt with such an incompetent company.
I know they don't have the best communication from what I've heard, but try and contact to get an update on when you can expect it. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer for you
I received 2 of them in November 2023 (backed it on Indiegogo) and I'm definitely in Europe. I'm actually sitting on one of them now. My suggestion is to send them an e-mail, perhaps something went wrong for your order?
I almost missed the email with link. I had become accustomed to just deleting their emails. Search through your inbox. Mine came three weeks ago (ish). Also, the $200 shipping was hard to justify, but I love the chair so I think it was worth it.
@@chelenwalters they have completely stopped communicating with backers. Where are you that you got a chair 2 months ago (ish)? Many people have reported defects. Curious how long it will hold up. These people are out and out scammers. Thousands of us without a chair or any chance of getting one.
While I'm glad that someone in the Netherlands got 2 chairs, it's still a scam. There are many more of us in Europe who haven't received ours. Now BeYou is claiming there will be no more stock until end of this year (fat chance of that) while it's still listed for sale on Amazon. This isn't the first time Sam and his crew have done this either; but Kickstarter and Indigogo won't do anything about it.
I received the chair today. It was easy to assemble. I’m still figuring out the modes. The only issue so far is I can’t get it to move up or down, so I’m going to disassemble and reassemble to see if that works. So far, all modes are comfortable.
3 years and no chair. No funds to pay the shipping, I expected a hefty amount maybe 50 or 60 but I don't have hundreds to drop on getting a chair I paid for 3 years ago - and they deny refunds based on that. I have to accept the loss - they told me 'the chair is a token of appreciation, you are not entitled to it'
Even as someone with a chair (finally), I can agree that using the crowdfunding loophole has given them an easy fallback with the shipping and delays. I hope you can get some funds to get the chair
