What your children did to love their so called father is so wrong because he was never there ever since they were borne until now!! They should just let go too just how he treated them and you too. You shouldn't let them to love him too. A bastard husband and father to you and your children. If I was you i would be very upset and sad that my children turned around and love their father after all that he was never there for them. This story is heartbreaking. My heart hurts so much for the mother. I can never understand old culture and traditions on this part.

If I was your kids I would never start a relationship with that kind of father not only out of respect for you but for him never being there. Not sure if your kids wanted a relationship with him just to show they have a complete family to strengthen the respect for the educated positions in life. Otherwise I see no other way to want to even know such a father who treated me like a plaque.
