this song makes me think of my dad, hes struggled with addiction since before i was born and wasnt in my life until i was 8 and then left really until i was 14 and once i started doing drugs at 16 i moved in with him and my life has spiraled since then im almost 21 and been addicted to fentanyl and xanax. I want to leave and become my own but its so hard when u are dependent on a father like that. thank you matt

@@ChristianPierce Accept that your dad isn't worth the trouble, distance yourself in your head. You can't fix other people if you don't fix yourself first, or at least at the same time together. Him "liking and caring" about you isn't going to matter for your life, you have to like and care about yourself instead. Good luck man, life is rough but you gotta start making the right decisions.
