    Warning: Spiritual work is inherently risky and dangerous if misapplied or misunderstood. Actualized.org teachings are not suitable for people with serious mental disorders such as: suicidal depression, schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar, ADHD, drug addiction, or other psychiatric or medical conditions. Leo's teachings assume you have a stable and well-ground mind and life. If your mind is ill or unstable, these teachings may lead to a deterioration of your condition and even suicide if misapplied. Self-help and spirituality are not substitutes for professional treatment for such conditions. If spiritual work is causing your life to unravel in unhealthy ways, discontinue the work until your mind has stabilized and you are safe. Actualized.org teachings are very advanced and can easily be misunderstood and misapplied. Nothing Leo teaches ever promotes physical self-harm. Any time Leo talks about “facing one’s death” he is NOT talking about suicide or physically harming your body, but rather ego-death and spiritual awakening. Never confuse these two things.
    Warning: Psychedelic substances are inherently risky and dangerous in many ways. Only use psychedelics if you are willing to take 100% responsibility for the consequences. Do not take psychedelics if you are too young, too immature, on mind-altering medication, or if you have a mental disorder. By listening to Leo you agree that Actualized.org is not responsible if you misuse psychedelics and injure yourself or others. If you decide to use psychedelics you must exercise extreme caution and carefully follow safety protocols. Leo’s use of psychedelics is always done with extreme caution and attention to safety. You should treat psychedelics like a loaded gun.

    Going to need a bigger boat. Lol. That is how it feels. Imagine seeing a dragon for the first time. And just telling yourself holy s*** that thing actually exists? The stories don't have as much weight until you're actually there.

    Mystical experiences are beside the point and have nothing to do with enlightenment or nonduality. Nonduality is already the case and not some new experience. Enlightenment is not an experience, but a non-conceptual, intuitive insight. It is a mistake to make a big deal of any mystical or spiritual experience that comes and goes. The point is to realize that which does not come or go.

    What’s an example of a mystical experience ?

    • @jaxwhyland
      @jaxwhyland 6 місяців тому

      It can be induced in many ways. Most reliably through psychedelic drugs. It's inherently ineffable and impossible to put into words. The closest we do is metaphor and analogy.
      Heads and tails are opposites, but exist as part of the same coin
      Light and dark are complete opposites, yet exist only in relation to each other. The are the same thing, just seen from a different perspective
      Hot and cold are opposites, infinite heat and atomic vibration is the same as absolute 0K and no atomic vibration. Infinite hot and cold are the same thing
      Up and down are opposites, but only exist in relationship to each other. Up exists only as the opposite of down, yet are the same thing "movement"
      Day is nothing but the opposite of night. If it was "always day" we'd be unable to recognise it or name it because there is nothing to compare it to. It would just "be"
      Black and white are opposites, like light and dark, yet only exist in relation to each other. From white/light, we get all colour/all vision and consious perception. From black/dark we get all that can't be seen/imagination, abstraction, and the unconscious. Yet exist together as aspects of a greater whole.
      The mystical experience is when you stop seeing reality as opposites and distinctions, but you literally see them as the singular One they came from.
      It's to realise all language is just a sequence of distinctions that layer together to reveal a singular meaning. Every word we "say" in a sentence, isn't like stacking bricks to build a wall, that is our message. Every word we say in a sentence is like a chisel breaking off stone to reveal the sculpture that was already there.
      It's when you realise that all of reality exists fundamentally and only in relationship to a subject perceiving it. Life, death, something, nothing, are all the same. You are the everything, and the nothing, as an eternal being looking back at itself through the subject/object split.
      The mystical experience is to know, understand, see, and become the "One" all at once. Akin to the flow state, where you seem to lose yourself in what your doing and time seems to vanish. Except it's all encompassing.
      Those who talk don't know it. Those who know it don't talk.
      Like I said, you can't describe it, only beat around the bush with metaphor and story
