There are quite a few 3D printable caps, I used the Makerworld, ‘Perfect Fit Bambu Lab/Bambulab AMS Feeder Button Cover Protector’ one.
They have a printed had a hole in the top, in which to insert a 20mm piece of PTFE tube, which is very easy to replace. They are a bit fiddle to install, but once you’ve discovered how to do it, it’s easy.
They also have the added advantage of making inserting filament very much easier.
Incidentally, I think it’s a 1.3mm Allen key😉.
Phew, more in depth than I had planned, thanks for the walkthrough
Really appreciate this. Wasn't sure how that thing came out of the shell.
No worries, glad you found this helpful.
Thank you, wish you happiness
I wish there was a video showing how to remove the 1st stage feeder, and not already removed. Seems to be no videos on this.
Great video, just changed mine after watching this.
Thanks, glad it helped.
Your videos are very helpful. Thank you.
You’re welcome, glad you find them helpful. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you!
Very helpful

That incorrect the X1 carbon uses Carbon wish its a abrasive material. So is glow in the dark and a couple of others. That should not void your warranty.
How in the world did you push the hex key in that easily?
Don’t know. This video was my 5th or 6th attempt but even the first try was pretty easy to push that pin out.
@@3DPrintStuff well come to find out, I guess I have a newer model feeder so the two pieces are not connected. Meaning the hex key doesn't go all the way through. I finally got it after almost breaking the plastic covering. I then got the bar out, lubed it, and placed it back into place leaving room for me next time if I have to take it out again.
@@Showgunkhan that’s frustrating cause there was no mention of there being 2 variants in their step by step wiki.
@@3DPrintStuff I will admit that after taking my AMS apart and putting it back together, messing around with Bambu Studios and STL files, dealing with filament issues, and so much other things, I've become very well adapted to 3D printing and how the P1S functions. I can honestly say my last 100 prints have been flawless. So all the headaches were well worth it.
