Earned his vacation? California is in a $32 billion deficit. Check out the homelessness and crime. I wouldn't say owning a third of the country's homeless population while owning 12% of the country's population is earning your money. He needs to give Californians back their money for a poorly ran state.

U.S. state of California Governor Gavin Newsom begins his weeklong visit to China Monday, traveling to six Chinese cities and meeting national and provincial officials to talk about climate policies and potential partnerships.
“California and China hold the keys to solving the climate crisis,” Newsom said in a statement released by his office on October 18. “As two of the world’s largest economies, our partnership is essential to delivering climate action for our communities and beyond.”
China has 4,400 coal mines by the end of 2022, the largest in the world. The Chinese coal industry is said to account for close to 20 percent of total global emissions, which is more greenhouse pollution than all the vehicles in the world combined.
Without using coal, the Chinese economy would decline and Chinese leader Xi Jinping would be unable to fulfill his ambition of making China the world’s hegemony by 2049-the centennial of when the Chinese Communist Party took power, the report pointed out.
50 GW of coal power capacity started construction in China in 2022, a more than 50 percent increase from 2021. “Also in 2022 a total of 106 GW of new coal power projects, the equivalent of two large coal power plants per week, were permitted.
When completed in ( 5-10 years) these coal mines will put in the atmosphere 330-360 million tons of CO2. This is the equivalent of adding 80,000,000 combustion engine cars on the road. And this does not include any new additional coal mines in the future from China.
So China has set in plans to increase pollution of our planet with CO2 gas while many other nations are spending billions of dollars to change their power infrastructures to reduce CO2. Thanks a lot China.
Governor Newsom, when you see Dictator Chinese leader Xi Jinping, please bring this to his attention. Being a good politician like yourself, I am sure you will get a very good twisted political answer.

So cool that he is sending supplies to Gaza while also visiting Israel. Clearly he sees the complexity in the conflict, while understanding the citizens of Gaza are on their own without assistance from the outside.
We need a ceasefire fire so we can finally figure out a way to support both peoples which include Christians, Jews, and Muslims as primary religions of Palestine and Israelis.
