You sound more Americans. My Hungarian grandmother made borscht. All home cooking tastes different.

Lol you need to learn the history of Brighton beach and Manhattan Beach. This you cannot read online. Btw before those buildings were built there was Brighton beach baths. It became very old. Many years before me Brighton beach and Manhattan Beach was more of a resort place. The Brighton courts had bungalows. I actually lived on West end Ave where the hot potato house is on. I'm wondering if that's where Papa Leone's was. I grew up with some of the people from the show Russian dolls. There is alot you won't see. I have alit if good friends who are Russian, are of the Ukraine but they ran the neighborhood down. It did become worse. No offense I have mad love for people but this is not accurate. I have to add that while it may seem bright to you it doesn't seem this way to me and other Brooklyn Knights. The neighborhood has become a commercial market with shit products.

Your English is just like a California American, You are Russian and it trips me out as my friends in Blagoveshensk all have accents. I like Russia but am American and have had only had Russian food in USA.

Think you've found your niche (career) (after graduation); "The Travel Chronicles." Russian food definitely on my bucket list. Need to find a quaint Russian Restaurant as my favorite restaurant hangout..eat and practice my Russian. Thanks for sharing your Russian Culture with all of us here in the West. We tend to be a little ignorant about other cultures.#russiancandies!✌🏾
