Products like this (sealants etc) primary purpose is preserving the clear coat. They are mainly to keep stuff from sticking to and bonding to the paint. Wet coat does an amazing job at ‘self cleaning’ in rain and rinsing before washing. More so than almost any other last step protection. It makes washing so easy. It is also a good ‘topper’ ontop of coatings and sealants. Either to enhance the beading/self cleaning, or to help the LSP last longer.
Yeah my hunch is that it might just be clogged so doing a wash and decontamination with iron remover and water spot remover would bring it back

Don’t use that jet on your pressure cleaner for paint work.
I use bath and bath+ together and than ceremic detailer and dry it! than you more results😊

Definitely from the top to the bottom.
It lasts only 1 month in my experience
