That's an interesting question. I can see how it could be useful for some games. I checked in the settings of the controller's app and I do not see how that would be possible. However, I think it could be possible with a physical alteration. If you could find someone that knew how to design and 3D Print something that could replace the friction ring on the controller and block left & right movement, that could work. @@iamm_justinr18 I know it sounds weird, but try a different USB cable. The factory cables aren't very good and cause many different issues. If that doesn't do it, it could be something physically wrong with it. The faceplate comes off easy. You can take it off and then see if your stick is on there in an odd way, or pull it off and put it back on to see if that might fix it.... @CrsdRvngOn1 the GameSir Nexus app is what you need. It's available on the Xbox and Microsoft Stores for free. It's pretty easy to use and bind the buttons and you can have 3 different profiles for different games.

Mine was on when I did it.... Though, as long as it has power, I assume it would still work. Cant use 1000hz bc the input sticks until you input another input sometimes so I hope this helps. I wish the Elites had this hardware but better quality of it.
I did that and its nkt turning on
@@HevarHhh I've heard of this a few times and the people that got back with me have said it was a connection issue.
I'd recommend disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the Xbox/PC and the controller to make sure the connections are good... Then try another USB port... If those don't fix it, try a new cable, the factory cables are known to have issues.
Either the cable wasn't firmly connected in the Xbox/PC or the controller; or the cable had issues.
The factory cable

Does this help if you push to hard down on the right stick and break it and it looks straight up in every game
@@BaylorGleaton it probably will unless there's physical damage to the stick mechanics inside the controller.
@@Luscombag I am not sure what happened I pushed to hard and it broke
@@BaylorGleaton Is the stick is physically pointing upwards or it just moves in the game upwards?
You are a legend
I connect the controller to the computer and after playing for a while, the controller turns off automatically. I unplug the cable and plug it back in and it works
How can i fix please help me
@@wTexas15 That's a new one to me. I would recommend trying a new cable and/or a different USB port.
My rt button doesnt do anything, whenever i click down nothing happens i cant even calibrate it because rt does respond. Should i get a new one?
If the normal calibration or the manual calibration doesn't work, you probably need a new one. But you may want to try a different cable first to see if that could be the problem.
Im able to turn on my controller but its not connecting nor calibrating any advice?
i’m doing everything you’re doing. but when i go back after resetting it my front roller still has the worst stick drift ever. it’s constantly up how do i fix that,
@@iamm_justinr18 I know it sounds weird, but try a different USB cable. The factory cables aren't very good and cause many different issues. If that doesn't do it, it could be something physically wrong with it.
The faceplate comes off easy. You can take it off and then see if your stick is on there in an odd way, or pull it off and put it back on to see if that might fix it....
If none of that works, and you are still in the warranty/return period, you probably want to exchange it.
I was about to give up and then I looked closer and saw you pressing the three top buttons before plugging the chord in. Thank you so much
Edit: Nevermind I'm still having trouble. It's not blinking it just turns on

I’m trying to setup my panels for call of duty but they don’t won’t when I try and put them into the binds
@CrsdRvngOn1 Are you using app to bind the buttons? Or are you manually binding the buttons from the controller?
@ I got the app but I couldn’t find the right one
@ gamesir g7 se
@CrsdRvngOn1 the GameSir Nexus app is what you need. It's available on the Xbox and Microsoft Stores for free. It's pretty easy to use and bind the buttons and you can have 3 different profiles for different games.
Raw mode on or off? got this controller recently and need help dialing the best settings for halo
@@j0eykarate264 I haven't tried raw mode, for my gameplay, I've been happy with it off. I guess I should give it a try.
@@Luscombag Nice! I'm just trying to dial in the best settings for mainly Halo atm. Raw mode feels like a better range of motion for my movement stick, for look/aim stick it feels a little too jittery IMO. I might experiment with Raw just on right stick today.
@@j0eykarate264 cool. Let me know what you think when you test it out.
What Gamesir settings do you use?
Different settings for different games. I may make a video about that because it's probably too much to get into in a message.
i can't get it to work nomatter how many times i try. just got the controller too. dont know what else to do
A lot of the time issues are caused by the connection.
I recommend disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the Xbox/PC and the controller to make sure the connections are good... Then try another USB port... If those don't fix it, try a new cable, the factory cables are known to have issues.
Thank you it worked but my A button still doesn’t work
Did you uninstall the app and do this? I installed the app and gamed for a bit and noticed a helluva lot of stick drift. I did the manual calibration and still drifts but not as bad. Just wondering is all.
Thanks
Also, on gamepad tester the frequencies on the sticks are breaking out the max on on corners, even after the manual calibration.
I didn't have a problem with the app being installed, but I experienced issues with stick sensitivity and a trigger being activated all the time after updating the controller.
I downgraded my firmware (I got the file & instructions from discord) That fixed my stick sensitivity, but the manual calibration fixed my trigger issue.
I do what you said hold the 3 buttons then plug it in while having my xbox on and staying at home and the white thing doesn't light up it stays black can you help me pleaae
@@DxRkyGRz if your light doesn't come on at all and the completely isn't working. Try a different USB cable and different port on the Xbox. If that doesn't work, I'd say there's something wrong with your controller that I can't fix.

@@DxRkyGRz no worries. I'm just glad its working now.
thank you man have a good one
Is the Xbox turned on (I was doing it with it off) whilst doing this? I’m getting to the press A stage after rotating the sticks but the light isn’t coming back on 🤔 not sure if it’s something I’m doing. Any advice?
Mine was on when I did it.... Though, as long as it has power, I assume it would still work.
If evening is working right until you get to the pressing A button, I would recommend trying a different cable. The one that comes with it isn't that good. It could be shorting out or not registering all the inputs.
@@Luscombag ok, cheers mate. Was working fine until the recent update. God knows what’s happened. I’ll figure it out, thanks again.
@@F1TZGER4LD The update could have messed it up. I had an issue after an update and had to downgrade my firmware to fix it (I have since updated and it has been fine).
To downgrade, go to GameSir's Discord channel and in the troubleshooting section, ask for the downgrade file and instructions for the version that last worked well for you.

how do i change binds to the paddles? on some games when i try it dosent do anything so i cant even use the paddles
@@macaronis4 the easier way is to download the GameSir Nexus app. It is free and available on PC and the Xbox store.
Or you can do it manually by holding the M+R4 or L4 buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. When the indicator light blinks slowly, tap the button you want to map to R4/L4. The indicator turns solid to indicate R4/L4 button value is set.

Got my controller today installed the Game Sir Nexus app and the led started blinking really fast when i got in a shooter game right trigger always aiming in i tryed your method but the blinking did not get slower someone help please

Please help me, I just got this and accidentally binded A to “LSB” thinking it was the back paddle, but it’s not and now I don’t have an A button, which makes it hard to get into the app and change it. What can I do? Anyone help me
To go get off the custom profile with problems and go back to the default profile, press M + Y on your controller.... BUT you will still have the problem with that profile. If you are on Xbox, download and open the GameSir Nexus app. Choose the profile with the issue. This will cause your problem to return so you will need a second Xbox controller that is turned on. Use the second controller to make the changes in the GameSir profile. I hope this helps.
@@Luscombag I can’t use the 2nd controller to make changes because as soon as I unplug the game sir controller and my old xbox one, the app says “no controller detected”. I can’t even select that profile on my gamesir because I don’t have an “LSB” button and my a is bound to that, and I can’t use another controller because it says “no controller detected”. I already have the app, that’s where I changed the binds
@@FoamyDragon Do you have a wireless controller where you can have your GameSir controller plugged in at the same time? Or a second USB port? Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Xbox One, the Series X is my first Xbox and using my wireless controller worked for me.

It's really bugging me bc I can't go back to a 150hz controller. My aim is my strong point. So this is a big problem for me..
You should be able to go back to 250hz using the PC app..... Also I put a mid-dize Kontrol Freeks on my right stick to help with the finesse. FYI, the PS5 Kontrol Freeks fit the G7 SE.
