for anyone wondering this machine is $7000 to $8000 USD it’s called the Brother Innov 2 AKA The Dream machine 2. Obviously, this machine is for extreme enthusiasts. If you are looking to start embroidery I highly recommend the Brother PE800. That will run you $700 USD & you’ll make your money back no time.

There are a few Brother models that offer a direct PC connection (wireless or wired).
What about scanning a design that is already on a shirt to replicate it? I’m in school for pastry chef artistry and I have to have a new jacket tailored with the schools writing on it. Would it be able to scan my old jacket and print the embroidery onto the new one?

You would need to buy the continuous border hoop to do that most easily.

Hi, We use white bobbin thread for all of our embroidery. occasionally black, and occasionally we will wind a bobbin that matches the top thread, but only for special occasions. Like when the back of the embroidery will be seen easily.

Thank you for the fast reply. Have you ever had to change the bobbin while embroidering? And if so, did it kept the work neat?
Changing the bobbin is no big deal, this is what goes down: You get a message on your screen the bobbin is low, you move the hoop, replace the bobbin and continue. The top thread is not cut, so you won't even notice. Even if you back up a few stitches before you restart, it's nearly impossible to tell anything happened there.

Amateur question here but can you make Iron on Patches with this machine?
Any patch can be made into an iron on simply by adding the adhesive backing after the embroidery is complete.
