What i find amazing is how the show is ingrained in my brain. Like early spongebob, Fairly oddparents, Ed Edd n Eddy, Fostern Home for Imaginary friends, Early powerpuff girls etc..... I feel like I grew up at best time for video games and cartoons.
I had the entire first season on DVD and we didn't have cartoon network on tv. But we had internet and I played a lot of games on the site. But this show, and powerpuff girls we knew the best because we had the dvds.
I love how during the moment where he sees Billy sleep and wakes him up loudly. Normally, any ordinary parent would probably be concerned about that and wake up their child lightly to ask what’s happening. But Billy’s parents being who they are wake him up rudely.
Harold: "What is this, a party?" Gladys: "Dad! Talk some sense into your son! He wants to go on a picnic!" Harold: "After what happened last time? You all remember that, right?" **cuts to Harold putting on a bigfoot costume behind a rock** Billy: "Please pass the egg salad." Harold: **jumps out** "Raggle fraggle!" **picks up Billy and runs away** Billy: "AHHH! SOMEBODY HELP ME!" Harold: "Hehehe... I say we let the boy go."
I wouldn’t call him a good dad, especially later on. Early on, he did have his flaws, but was generally decent with his kid. Later, he beats him or sells him out for something else.
@@GigglyFunGirl03 no need to drop a thesis when you read his comment wrong. He didn't say the best dad in cartoon history, he said the best CARTOON DAD in history, meaning nothing about his actual skills as a dad should matter when ranking him since a true dad in cartoons is purely a joke, and nothing more. If he was anyway a good dad we wouldn't know his name is even Harold nor call him that when referencing him. Think of the topic and videos like these as playgrounds and here you are bringing your real life shit into it...
In the context of 0:14, Billy was telling his dad that his body "was feeling weird", Harold became nervous until he understood he was talking about the ectoplasm ghost Lmao it's fun being an adult rewatching CN classics
You came back with a bang, BnMClips! A bang that thankfully didn't mess up the natural order! BTW, have you ever considered doing a "once said" compilation for characters like General Skarr, Ms. Butterbean, Eris, or Jeff the Spider? And maybe as a challenge when making the Jeff one, try excluding THAT clip...you know the one. 🥚
Growing up with GAOB&M is a privilege. Kids these days will never understand millenials in their 20s expressing their struggles in a post 9/11 america in national television and kids like me get to see it on our big ass CRT Panasonic flat screen at 2 in the morning at a school night. . . . ah good times, good times.
I still question on why he became more stupider in the later seasons because i swear to god in the earlier seasons, i just remembered him being a laidback dad who didnt care about his son hanging out with literal death

Love how Harold prioritizes his pomp over his wife.
To be fair, he did mention his brain was in there ^^;

Eh ying yang yo was alright, but you do remind me that Jetix existed. Man I wont say we had the best stuff as kids, but what we had was pretty cool

You don't have to wonder. It's just that games and cartoons 15-20 years ago were the best. Unfortunately, the golden era has passed.
1:48 Gotta love how Harold treats this like a normal thing like....Basically it is as if he's done this thing a million times
Season 1 Harold was awsome
1:03 His most fatherly moment 😂

To be fair, bludgeoning weapons like flails work really good on skeletons. Slashing and piercing weapons are resisted.
