My shibe tends to get the happy tinkles if we greet him right away or whenever guests do. He’s 11 months old now but still does this. I’m hoping it’ll go away with age lol
Man that dog is getting BIG! How often do you feed him a proper meal? I'm noticing my pup is hard to train at 9 weeks because he's not as interested in treats or kibble. We've switched to a morning and evening feeding schedule with training before his meals and during mid-day. What was your experience?
Aoki used to have 3 meals when he was younger. Your pup might not like his food and picky with his meals. I remember Aoki was like that too until I changed to raw. He is more consistent in his appetite. Now, he is a 2 meals a day mixing meat and veggies, fruits, fish. In terms of training, did you try to switch treats? Maybe he might like a certain type of ingredient or texture. You can also train with toys, I used to do that as well - I would pick his fav one and practice basics. I use high value treats for news tricks I introduce :) hope that helps!
Very helpfull tips! Thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for your support always 🫶🏽

that's so sweet oh my!! It is so hard to ignore Aoki especially when I missed him too while I was away...
What if my shiba doesn’t have any interest in the toys/lick mat? Still amazing suggestions on the acknowledgement cues/etc. Thank you so much!! 😊
Pin point what your pup is into. Puzzles maybe? Aoki loves treats so I put his fav ones in there for specific situations
Hi! thanks for sharing many experiences... We learn a lot with your tips :-D
Happy to hear that! Thanks for your support 🫶🏽
10 minutes? that's hard! I'm only at 10 seconds!
Hahaha I know 🥲 or at east until your pup settles down. I am also occasionally guilty of not following these guidelines either 🙉
You say 10 minutes before acknowledging dog? Did not make it pass 30 s.
hahaha I know ... so tough!
