I LOVE THE MUSIC! I was very young n sumtyms I couldnt understand what they were talking about; just to rush to the tv when the music was on! I love it! Praise the LORD!! Amen!!
So, basically, the close would roll like 2 minutes before the "off time" -- when the live show was supposed to be over -- the music would come up under goodbyes, and when the graphics came in, in sync with the lyrics of the music -- you'd take the close videotape full, complete with the copyright and signoff. Which also had pad on it in case a) you ended early or b) the affiliate or station didn't cut away on time. The magic of television.
Any chance you still have this tape? It would be great if you could redigitize this, along with the Praise the Lord open, with full quality through a newer digitization system.
I dod not have that one, but I have a few Behind the Scenes shows I worked on and a lot of Network Promos. I have a few love gift commercials too. I will look and see if I can locate them.
If you you've ever been to a PTL taping they play this for the crowd so they can clap/cheer on time and so the host can know when the show is supposed to go off the air

I worked at TBN's Network Headquarters in Tustin California at that time where I was able to obtain a copy.
