OMG....used to watch this on Saturday mornings in the early 60s....never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever see this again....what a treat....thanks for posting these videos.
Oh, my god, oh, my god, I just can't believe that I have finally found this!! Years and years trying to find the real name of these silent films show!! I am from Monterrey, Mexico, and Comedy Capers was aired in a local T.V. channel here in my hometown Monterrey. That was in 1968 or 1969 because I was 4 and 5 years old and now very close to my 60's next year. I had a lot of fun laughing with those quite funny silent films!! I swear that I will be watching all of the episodes of Comedy Capers!! Thank you very much for make me remember of my childhood.
Ayy I used to watch these guys every morning before I went to school. With Billy Bevan Harold Lloyd and the rest of those crazy fellas, and I mean they were and still are out of this world crazy 😂😆😝😝😅 and I mean crazy thank you so much for these come backs ✌️
This knocked me for a loop. I have a great memory for entertainment from my youth and when I clicked on this and the opening song began that I hadn’t heard it in since 1960. It was an awesome feeling now that I’m 65, it took me back to when I was 5.
I remember this show coming on in Chicago on channel 9 when I was a kid and for some reason this theme song lately popped up in my mind so I took a chance and typed it in on UA-cam and lo and behold here it is! Oh my goodness, this brings back a lot of memories, thank you so much for posting these, I love it!
This show would come on during the early morning while getting ready for school when I attended school when I was young...WOW..GOOD MERMORIES WITH MY BROS AND SIS...
Estou muito feliz por achar esse canal. Eu procurava mas não lembrava do nome comedy capers. Revivi minha infância. Assistia na televisão nós anos 60. Obrigada
i used to watch this when i was 4 and 5 years old and i wanted to be a silent film comedian ever since. how many of this were produced ? i swear to this day i saw a very short clip of laurel and hardy in " hats off " on one of these ! a close friend the late Bart williams said he was positive he saw it too.
Remember these from when I was in grade school. These and the Mischief Makers would come on around 4 pm till 5 pm on channel 38 in Boston. Loved these shorts.
This aired close to the saturday morning cartoons in the early nineties here in Czech Republic. Despite the fact that I was only like 8 years old and didn't know any english back then, I remembered the show's name very clearly and was able to look it up here easily. Maybe when a name is embedded in a melody, it makes remembering easier or something.
I remember this, because this was one of the few times that they would show these on television! If you wanted to see these, the best thing to do, would be to go to one of those pizza or spaghetti palaces where the guy would play a huge pipe organ while these were screened! That was fantastic!
I came across this in the very early 90s and I loved g I don’t now what channel u no satalit dishes were big den it always used to be on we loved it 😻 some laughs
Loved these old black and white silents since I started "cinemaing" way back in the 1940s. This is February 2019 and two weeks ago I saw "Stan and Ollie" at the cinema. Quite brilliant, so if you get the opportunity, give it a whirl. But do take a tissue! Regards.
I don’t remember this airing in the L.A. market, and we were huge silent era and early talkie era comedy fans. Anyone from SoCal remember this show? The theme song is hilariously predictable. Exactly what you’d expect for the era.
I hated this when I was a kid. They played it on some Saturday morning and it made me hate humanity, it was, for me, depressing, degrading, foolish. I had good taste for my age.

Por volta de 1964-65 era apresentado aos domingos pela manhã na TV Excelsior canal 9 de São Paulo.
I was excited when this came on, because it gave me regular access to silent movies when I was only 8 or 9!
Muy agradecido con esta muestra de un programa que significó mucho en mi infancia y que se transmitía a medio día
Played in Australia early '70's BIG TIME !
