I'm disgusted by how the mom treated the manager of the homeless shelter.
For real like as someone who’s currently homeless it really makes me mad and gives me the same secondhand embarrassment Jo felt. I can only imagine how many times Jo had to apologize to the poor woman when the cameras were off.

I'm sorry, but Kristin's attitude towards the homeless shelter and her overall attitude this whole episode was absolutely disgusting.

She doesn’t even realise how lucky she is to have two beautiful children.

Nothing was resolved. Kristin has now put her trust in her "boyfriend" to take care of her & her kids & moving out of state to get back at her parents. When she threatened when I move you will never see them again she is moving forward with it. I give her 6 months before she will beg to come back.

This greatly concerns me. If she is unable to parent WITH support, how is she going to manage when she gets out on her own? This can't be real. Someone needs to be following up on those kids.
Idk if she truly can’t or if she just doesn’t want to and is able to throw them onto her parents so she doesn’t bother. Can’t and won’t are different things. Hopefully she’ll step up when they aren’t there to take over for her

My grandad lived with us my whole life and I couldn’t even fathom at any age being so rude, disrespectful and violent towards him. I hope those boys grew up to appreciate their grandparents.

I grew up with my grandmother and great grandmother. They took care of me sometimes but if I did half of what these boys did my parents would’ve destroyed me 😂

Kristen didn’t move out because she thought it was best for the boys or because she wanted to grow up and take responsibility. She did it purely to spite her parents after everything they’ve done for her. And her kids will suffer for it.
Kristin presumably got married afterwards but this is considered one of the most disliked episodes. The comments on Supernanny wikia were over 90 percent negative. While fans were initially appalled at the kids' behavior, they were even more appalled at Kristin as many thought she wasn't a stable mother and that her parents had sacrificed so much, they should've been granted custody of the kids.
No they should have kicked her out so they can enjoy their golden years.

I raised 2 boys and they have never spoken to me and especially my parents the way the boys speak to their mom & grandparents. Absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating. Mom is worthless.

While I do sympathize with the grandparents on how their grandsons treat them. However I have no sympathy with how their own daughter treats them. They say: “she’s never been grateful all her life.” If you knew about it, then why didn’t you fix it before it got out of hand? If they had known she wasn’t appreciating from others and did nothing that it’s their fault that she is the way she is. And yes I know that it’s one’s personal responsibility to not be an butthead but it’s like the saying goes: you raise your kids, you spoil your grandchildren. But you spoil your kids you will raise your grandchildren.

I've said this before, and I'm willing to do it again: This is the one episode I 100% agree that CPS should've been involved in. It’s abundantly clear Kristin did not want to follow Jo’s techniques, and only agreed to the show to get validation. It's so clear how much Jordon and Jaydon were facing child neglect, and I'll be real: Kristin genuinely might be one of, if not the most egotistical parents in all of Supernanny. Especially with everything that's happened after the episode (Kristin following through on moving out), I really feel like Jo genuinely needed to contact CPS this one time, just for the better of it
Also RIP to Candace Sherwood (the UMom person). She died in 2016 from cardiac failure

She set the standard right away with the younger boy, telling him "You say 'hi pleased to meet you.'" Right away they responded to her.
It’s so sad she has no interest in those boys.
Kristen is resentful of her own very poor decisions and situation, and she’s lobbing misdirected hostility towards her parents.

They won’t have “worked out” - let’s be honest. Those boys didn’t choose to be brought into this world, and her decision to have two children then abandon them even if the grandparents cared for them they will be damaged for life.

Wow, if Kristen does not get these youngsters under some reasonable control, what in the world is going to happen when they are tall, strong teenagers. They are little guys now, but that won't last for very long. These tantrums show that the boys are totally unaccustomed to any kind of control or house rules. I don't know the context of their relationships before Kristen had the kids. That's a separate situation that is the root cause of everything here. The whole thing felt like she was punishing her parents for something. Was she very young when she had the boys and wanted to maybe give them up, but they forced her to keep them? Just because the grandparents look like the good guys here doesn't mean that they were that way with Kristen.
She's a terrible mother, yes. Ultimately, her boys are suffering for all the mistakes and issues their mom and grandparents are creating. I just...I don't know. She doesn't look like she ever bonded with the kids. Maybe she had undiagnosed post partum.
