so I was working at the snack bar in Durant Square when I heard my homeboy’s beat shop knocking Pimp of the Year. I went over and asked him the song details. “It’s Dru Down. It just came out. I just bought it now from Lance (owner of Homeboyz Music next to his shop).” I bought the tape and I kid you not, like before i could put the tape in my pocket, I see the dude on the album cover w/the braids behind dru down and he’s like 20 yards away from me! I walked up to him and said “hey excuse me is this you?” He laughed and said no but his friend signaled to me that it WAS him. Crazy ass story.
