A great duet. Miss Ronstadt has always been great artist with unknown duets. Mr. Sanborn is a master that does not have to be front and centered.too Praying for both of them as they deal with health issues.
Ms. Ronstadt has progressive supranuclear palsy. Has not been able to sing for well over a decade and is seriously disabled now. She'll be 78 on July 15th. And of course, Mr. Sanborn just passed. Just love this duet. Always amazes me how these artists find each other.
Found myself whistling and singing this classic in the shower this morning. David will always be here with us through his music and Linda will always be the brightest of stars. Their collaboration on this piece is timeless, absolutely timeless.
Her beautiful voice matches David Sanborn's sax note for note... it's like angels crying about not making the journey across the divide. And since she has Parkinson's now, it's even more poignant.
How did I miss your wonderful comment? You are spot on. I fear her time is near but then so is mine. We will get to hear those angels on our journey across that divide but this time they will be singing with great happiness and joy as we leave these lifetimes behind. Peace. @@MisterMister5893
Have to say that we love this song, but it is sad. It makes one think of distance & a deep deep sea where one might wander for an eternity seeking to repossess what (he) never had, "...the harbor's breast And the harbor's eyes." - Carl Sandburg We love you Linda.

Stunning!
デヴィッド サンボーンさんのご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。NHKの番組 ピーターバラカンさんも取り上げてくださいました。本当に美しい限りですね。感謝!感謝!
Two of the very best at what they do.Never heard this before.Thank you!
One of the most pure voices ever. She can sing anything from pop, to rock, to torch and it is wonderful
In the past year while on her Parkinson's/Book tour Linda was asked what her favorite song was. Her reply: The Water Is Wide. And how beautiful it is.
