Thank you, your hiking videos from WHW have been one of those, inspiring and motivating me to walk the WHW by myself. Thank you and greetings from Poland.
great video's all 5 enjoyed every one i am planning to do this for my 60th got arthritis in both my knees but a few pain killers and giving myself 8 days with some of my work mates thanks again for shearing your journey
Loved watching your WHW adventure. Doing it in 5 days is impressive. I was in my 20’s when I did it in 5, and it nearly killed me. Just turned 60 and planning to do it again next year. In 8 or 9, no rush.
Darren. Thanks for doing these videos. They’re great. I was there just last week and although we had good dry weather most days (and good temps for walking) it rained all the way across Rannoch Moor! So it was good to see what we missed! Like someone else said your information about the walk along the way was brilliant. Thankyou
Absolutely enjoyed your videos all 5 of them.. definitely would love to do WHW trek , was in Scotland 🏴 cpl weeks ago and loved loch Lomand area. Well done 👍
Thank you, Darren, the whole series was fun to watch! Can't believe your luck with the weather. Hopefully, I'll be this fortunate at the end of September. Cheers, Juli
Just watched all 5 days and really enjoyed the videos and how you put them together and talk through the walk. Just deciding whether to do it myself late Sept or wait for May.
Watched that and enjoyed that walk. Fifty years ago when I went camping, didn't call it wild camping then, I always had a fire at night to keep the wolves away. Keep well and keep making the videos.
@@MrStompfest No problem. Its the Rab pulse Sun Hoody. Available direct from Rab £45, But often strangely cheaper on other websites £40. It's built in sun factor 30, so saves me slapping lotion on. Very breathable in hot weather, doesn't stink after successive days of use and its quick drying. Fits true to size, slim fitting. I hover between a medium and large and ordered the Large.
Thanks Darren, thoroughly enjoyed the videos. The WHW is going on my list for next year as I’m just getting back into hiking and backpacking. This has whetted my appetite even more.
Hi Darren, Impressive, informative vlogs on your WHW adventure. I binged on them , glued to them. Very natural on camera. My daughter are researching for our first trip next year. From your handy tips section …go light as possible and thanks for indicating the wild camping spots! Thanks 👍🏕
Hiya Darren … FYI …My daughter and I did 41 miles of WHW . Milngavie to Inverarnan last Thursday Loved the personal challenge… still buzzing. September is on the cards to complete. ATB Gerry 👍
@@darrencurtisuk I can see why. I’m waiting on a load of new kit to arrive and then I’m off out. I’m not sure which trail to do first but the EHW is looking good. Cheers Darren.
Enjoyed the series Darren - well filmed and really useful information provided. I wildcamped it during the recent spell of good weather in March and it was a great time to do it as it was quiet and no midges. Did u take the road between Bridge of Orchy and Inveroran? I had looked at that but noticed that the WHW path goes up over the hill (fairly steep we climb) and down coming out just before the hotel. U might have done a few more miles on the road 😀

Steve from Aberdeen here. Great effort Darren. I’m doing the WHW over 6 days this summer so your videos are very informative.

Great series as usual Darren. I'm doing the West Highland Way in April, so was very informative for me. 👍

Excellent, being able to revisit it after so long. I'll definitely take it easy if/when I do it again. Thanks for watching
Great videos, just watched the lot, planning on doing it mid April
Good time of year to do it, midge free & fewer hikers on the trail.

You're very welcome Juli. The trail should be quieter and the midges will likely be gone by end of September
Just watched all 5 days and really enjoyed the videos and how you put them together and talk through the walk. Just deciding whether to do it myself late Sept or wait for May.
May is statistically less rainy days. Either way it'll still be nice and quiet compared to before 2019 and all the international travellers.
Enjoy it

Wow! How did you get such a great weather :) Nice vids.
Haha, I know, the forecast was sketchy so was mentally prepared for rain.
