Thanks for your comment. Yes, its been a very soggy year so far. I'm hoping for a nice spell of settled weather soon. It seems like ages since we had a run of good mountain forecasts. I enjoyed this one as it was a nice and quiet despite being Easter weekend when the more popular hills would have been jam packed.
Nice video I am enjoying your walks I have done this hill twice from north and south direction whilst doing the Welsh Hewitts it’s always good to find different routes up hills excellent
Thanks for your kind comment. I didn't expect too much of this one as it didn't look too exciting on paper. In the end it was a really enjoyable afternoon. Only saw one other person and the views at the top were lovely. It's a reminder to me that I don't always need to do epic days out bagging loads of tops. I've still got the Western Berwyns including Pen y Boncyn Trefeilw which I believe is one of the Hewitts, but the walk description in the book doesn't make it an attractive prospect.
Yes there’s a few tops in that area some are ok others including that one are accessible from a forestry road and are slightly dull but a quiet area with good views of Arran Fawddwy connected all together in a circular walk it’s not a bad route but don’t get lost in the forest like me lol 😂
Been a very wet start to the year. Still great to get out into the fresh air and clean out the soul. Best wishes on the next adventure!
