i hear you driver. i been driving for 8 years and cant wait to come home and virtually drive lol. its stuff you can do like blow thru weight stations that makes me keep playing
I know im asking randomly but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost my login password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Karter Ameer i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I recently had a hiccup while attempting to take my irl CDL permit test. Will have to wait until September for truck driving school. This is a game, but your commentary and the game's content is making me itch real bad for my license!!! Love this video! I'm going to subscribe to your channel.
This Kenworth W900L is in almost every 18 WOS series. I use to play 18 wos a long time ago and when this truck came out, It was a enormous size truck to drive. You really need to watch your mirrors.
I have Kenworth w900 it's a studio sleeper. 2005 Detroit 900 under the hood my dad just gift it to me. Been driving company trucks for the past three years. I'm so ready to get behind the wheel of it. The days looks exactly the same.
Mate you have to realise that it really doesn't matter if it is a Kenworth, or White, or Peterbuilt, most if not all have manufacturer's options for a Detriot, Cat, Cummins engines as well as Eaton Fuller gear boxes , I have driven several different models and to be honest they all drove very similarly , due to the fact that they are basically built on the one style of chassis with certain parts and options available from different manufacturer's
That’s cool! I’ve seen a few of those out on the road and they’re so god damn comfortable! Most of them stick to heavy haul or light freight though, that truck is awfully spec’d to haul decent weight freight at 80,000lbs.
Hehe all those lights makes the truck look like a Christmas tree haha. Maybe people would pull over just because they think it's a ufo or something like that.
I just had to reply. When my father drove truck back in the 90's he drove a brand new Peterbilt with an extended frame and he always said that it was lit up like a Christmas tree, said it was hard to turn but it looked good going down the highway.
A mod that might interest you Jeff, is "Immersive icon replacers" found on steam. Gets rid of those green floating icons and replaces them with pieces of trash lol. I like it so thought I would just suggest it.
I've driven the W900 KW and 359 Peterbilt. The engine, turbo, Jake, and wind noise are spot on. I prefer the Pete because you can actually almost see what's in front of you. The cathedral hood of the KW, while cool as hell, will hide a Suburban. It's fine on the interstate, but trying to navigate tight areas with cars and other obstacles is nerve wracking.
I actually drive a 18 wheeler for a living... I haul gasoline to stores... watching this was entertaining... lol.. but I can't imagine someone would do this for fun on a game... lol
I know the struggle about Austin's COTA.. I used to set up the aluminum seating for the races.. Also did concert security for the Amphitheater on the track.. The struggle is real
You know, the dumb AI actually realistically depicts how some people in real life drive.... LOL You always have to be on your toes, especially in a big truck.
Jeff please do more trips in this truck.....I love the long sleepers....I wish my dad would get 1 but they are not cheap at all.....he runs a kenworth w900 but shorter
Jeff you got me hooked into these vids with the last one of these man, you backed up like 40 times to get into that small spot @the port man lol xDDDDD keep up the great work yo and again congratulations on the almost 413,000 subs.
Hi Jeff, Started watching your channel like 3 weeks ago, today, I played ATS for the first time...Thanks for giving me pure joy. Love the truck and you defo should keep it...btw, do additional mods, affect gameplay as per graphic card limitations? Also do I just download mods and install them the same way the games installed...sorry this is all new to me. Thanks
Jeff, since your doing KW W900 Long, try doing the KW K100 Long (It's been a long time since I've used this truck so I don't know if its compatible with the latest version of ATS).
Jeff I ran this truck for awhile and yes it's awesome! FYI if you put the big screen TV option in the sleeper when you kick on the AC/DC , you can watch the music video on it!
Jeff would you consider doing an interview like get asked a bunch of questions and have it put on UA-cam for people to learn more about you and what you do or would you make a video just about like yourself as a person where it all started for you and all that?
My dad drives truck around australia i love going on trips with him in a week we are take a road train from Perth to alice springs i get a week or two off school
Jeff, I would like to thank you for all the truck simulator videos. They remind me of when I was little and my dad would take me cross country in his truck. 😀
cruisin USA....that brought back soo many memories of my childhood....had not thought of that game in forever....thanks for all the awesome content Jeff...have fun in SA, and if you feel like coming a little further South next trip to TX, u can come check out my playground....look us up, Edinburg Motorsports Park...
After watching your videos and being a truck driver irl I bought this game. However for it to be a true truck simulator, I think they would need to put in other trucks in front of you at the fuel island taking their 30 min break... also, its fuel. Not gas. There is a difference...
Those who say "gas" are usually referring to gasoline... which is a fuel. Similar to how in other countries they say "petrol", which is short for petroleum.
Pitbull Gamer81 the more lights the better? If you have 50 lights on a truck that’s just ridiculous mate, if you have lights that do bring it out, that’s fine
Holy shit you Americans are crazy. I personally think that even the standard sleeper cab w900 is extremely hard to drive. I mean I've driven trucks before. But in Europe everyone drives cabovers with a short wheelbase. That gives a lot more manoeuvrability in tight spaces. Long wheelbase is fine as long as you're cruising down the interstate. But damn I sometimes bite into the wheel when trying to back a trailer into the spot on the Rail Export yard in ATS. To be honest I even gave up at some point and switched to outside camera - which is basically cheating imo. But i recently downloaded the nice cabover from Steam Workshop (Kenworth K100 I believe it was called) and that feels a lot more familiar to me. It doesn't have a giant hood getting in the way and it also has a shorter wheelbase. Why is it that long nose trucks are so popular in America? Does this design improve the comfort that much? Or is it only for looks? - a clueless European
A longer wheelbase spreads the load more evenly across the road surface, doing less damage to the road while allowing heavier payloads. This also creates a smoother ride (cabover and single axle trucks ride like crap), and extended-hood models are much easier to work on than cabovers. US roads are wider and were designed for commerce from the beginning, especially the interstate system, so we don't have to use small trucks unless we choose to for city/local use. But, even deep in the city, LWB trucks do just fine because we're used to driving them. I've seen drivers park LWB trucks with 53' trailers in spots most people wouldn't try to park a car.
Sean Hazelwood Also cabin noise and heat getting into the cabin is reduced because you’re not directly allowed on top of the engine. And you don’t have as high as a climb into the cab in most cases.
The way to run Cali and make some money is to have a spotter, have em run about a mile in front of you and boom, the speed limit just got a lot higher. Dang, I miss the 70’s and 80’s.
(Points out the 700HP engine and acts like it's a lot) (Doesn't mention the 3500HP engine)
Pretty cool simulator, however, after driving for 40 years the last thing I will probably do is come home and play a truck driving simulator. LOL
i hear you driver. i been driving for 8 years and cant wait to come home and virtually drive lol. its stuff you can do like blow thru weight stations that makes me keep playing
Jeff: "There's a seven HUNDRED horsepower version"
Me looking at the 3500 hp version:
lol

your voice sounds like a smooth and professional radio speaker. sorry for my grammar English, isn't my first language. Nice video.
At 15:35 he says, "I keep it on car limit during mod showcase so the video won't be 45 minutes long." The video is 46:17 minutes long. 🤣
lol
yeah me still watching and going hey didn’t he say it wasn’t ganna be this long lol 😆
This game and him talking is so relaxing
I been waiting a long time for this truck an I got to night it a great rig runs great love it
That truck looks sick. The little circle mirror is your convex mirror, blind spot mirror
I'm a fan of Kenworth

Love the video Jeff, have a fantastic time in PAX catch you when you get back man.
Keep it as a main truck. It's a beautiful kensworth!
Used to build these trucks...they’re tough to build but they look so AMAZING...My favorite truck to work on

Please add this to your other series. That truck is sooooo badass
Hehe all those lights makes the truck look like a Christmas tree haha. Maybe people would pull over just because they think it's a ufo or something like that.
oh well i would have done that too if i had a real truck of my own. every inch of the truck would have been full with lights haha
I just had to reply. When my father drove truck back in the 90's he drove a brand new Peterbilt with an extended frame and he always said that it was lit up like a Christmas tree, said it was hard to turn but it looked good going down the highway.
Bomani Chisulo that's awesome!! it doesn't matter if it ever do look stupid. as long as people can see me from a mile away. then I'm happy ;) haha
My first time watching your videos and i loved it you kept my attention the whole time keep it up bro

I don't know about you, but I like him cussin', it makes us feel like he's a Badass American trucker, much as the Simulator is trying to do.

700 horses. You’ll be spending a lot of time at the fuel pump... Did I hear him grunt while turning the steering wheel??
