@neo city subs ୨୧ so basically allyssa did Katy perry for snatch game and at the time it was the WORST snatch game performance of all, but she couldn't be in the bottom 2 because she had won the previous episode so she had immunity (to season 1-5 if you won a challenge the prize was to have immunity so you couldn't be in the bottom on the next week)
I would’ve taken out Sharon and put Naomi Smalls. She literally caused the All Stars format to break in half and that’s quite iconic of her. As important as Sharon is in Drag Race, putting her on a season again would not be a great idea.
Naomi- normalized eliminating the front runner Alyssa- killed immunity Trixie- being the first queen from the show to really make it big on her own accord off the show
Other suggestions that come to mind: - Tammie Brown: for confronting the judges (twice!), being a catchphrase machine and generally beloved with incredibly little screentime. - Sharonne: for being the oldest winner in the franchise, even older than the host of her country, in a period where the franchise is showing its ageism. - Chad Michaels: all stars was basically made for her to win it. - Jinkx Monsoon: the first winner to put comedy and performance in the forefront of her drag instead of looks; the first true and best underdog story that the show has tried to endlessly imitate; the first queen of all queens. - Aquaria: winning snatch game, effectively breaking the stereotype that fashion queens can't also be comedy queens. - Yvie Oddly: I really hate this one, but she was the first one to have the "overcoming my disability" storyline that production now loves to put on queens. I wish I could also say that it changed how production treats queens with chronic illnesses, but as we saw with Willow...not so much.
I don't get why no one is mentioning Aquaria for being the first ACE queen: the fashion queen of the season, winning the ball and snatch game, performing very well in acting and comedy challenges, good at lip syncing and winning her season.
I just realized that Rupaul herself should be part of this cast since she changed the game quite a lot to eliminate some queens she didn't care about and safe her favourites
@@toloojane1766 I mean, there was no real storyline there. Just two friends who turned out to become drag queens and ended up on the same competition. There was no friction or drama behind it, and clearly no real competition between them. Morgan and Raven were friends too and Kylie and Nicole knew each other as well. But those things didn't really have any impact on the show, unlike Alyssa and Coco's drama/storyline since it affected the main story (Rolaskatox vs Jinkx) was impactful outside of the show, and was affecting all the queens on the workroom due to their bickering and their unwillingness to work with each other or move on from the drama.
I would add Brooke Lynn Bytes for being the first one to switch from being a contestant on the show to judging other queens and hosting the show. She opened the doors for Envy, Choriza, Rita, Monet, Vanjie, etc to do so.

Thank you for all of your work producing creative videos that are smart, funny, and totally re-watchable. I started losing interest in S9 when, after the move to VH1, production didn’t seem to care about covering their tracks. It just wasn’t fun anymore. Finding Top RPDR led me to you and a few other channels I use to keep up and there is a certain appeal to betting who they’re steering to win/get rid of weekly. I got WOW+ for uncensored UNHhhh and found international franchises I wouldn’t have come across any other way, and they are a true joy to watch. All that said, I understand why you need to close this chapter in your life. You made a lot of content I’ve not caught up on so I’ll still be watching. I hope after taking a break, you find something else to be as passionate about and come back to UA-cam. Regardless, you’ll be missed. One last thing, why didn’t you finish Heroes vs Villains??? this has probably been done before, but what if each season’s winner hadn’t been cast? who would win that season’s crown instead? i know it sounds convoluted, but it could be a mini series with an episode for each season. although it might be hard to obviously figure out, it would then cause the production to look to different winners depending on who they were trying to cast (such as maybe more of a focus on Katya on season 7 as a younger queen and so on and so forth).

You should do a fantasy season about well-known look/fashion/pageant queens vs. well-known comedy/campy queens! I think an example of a pageant queen could be Aquaria or Violet Chachki, and a comedy and campy queen could be Jaymes Mansfield or Trixie Mattel. I think it would be a great fantasy season and I would LOVE to see it!

I believe Chad should be here because she is the reason we have allstars to beging with since allstars 1 was literally created for her. Rolaskatox for being the only clique to make it to the top 4. Naomi for eliminating two front runners on both S8 and AS4 and making it to both finales with the same challenge win. Eureka for being the first queen removed from a season for medical reasons and brought back the next one and being successfully pushed to the finale by production. Ra'jah for being the first queen to have a three seasons arc and win. Brooke, first queen to host a season. Crystal, for being the first Ru favorite to survive the production push archetype by not getting hated. Jaida, for being the first queen to win a season not made for her without needing production meddling. Symone, for being the first US queen to win after being in the bottom twice.

I was just thinking about this a few days ago and I agree on most of the list (although I omitted the winners) I would also add: Yara and Carmen: for being the first double shantay (also Carmen was the first return to the competition after being eliminated in the same season). Laila and Dax: first double sashay💀 Naomi: for using the game cards and eliminating the front runner. Valentina: for being largely the cause of lipsync for the crown and new miss congeniality vote system. Jujubee: for being the first winless top 3. Latrice and Manila: the firsts to compete in 2 allstars. Brooke: first former contestant judging the show.
I definitely would add Ongina and Nina Flowers for their (at the time) unconventional drag style, Milk for bringing masculine drag to the show, and Victoria Scone for being the first afab queen and for doing a full out drag king look on CanVsTW.

Not finished watching yet but these come to mind: Peppermint's pre finale performance was so good they created LSFTC even though her track record would've justified her going home. S4 as a whole was the last one IIRC to show talking heads in completely different outfits esp in the same episode. Not sure what from which queen(s) influenced that. I'm pretty sure Milan was the game changer of wig removals being unacceptable & Roxxy established the wig reveal.

Fans worship Ben for taking herself out of the competition, but I reacted the same way to it as Thorgy on AS3. Like... to ME, it came off as pretemtious, pompous, and arrogant. If you didn't come here to win or make it to the end, why did you agree to compete again the first place? Sure, she may have witnessed some production "shenanigans", but to quote Manila Luzon, "how did you not know what you were signing up for, you already did this, girl".
I personally think Yvie Oddly is more of a game changer than Sharon. While Sharon being spooky and alternative got her the win, Yvie winning only 1 challenge and winning the season for being her alternative self laid way to a whole knee breed of winner where the track record doesn’t really matter, the personality and character does. (Monet X Change, Kylie Sonique Love, Willow Pill)
I think one low-key “game changer” could be April Carrion bc iirc she started the whole “posting what I would’ve worn” stuff many queens do after getting eliminated. Kinda minor since it’s not part of the competition itself, but still wanted to throw it out there
that’s false. Miss Congeniality was changed after the voting got hacked and gave the Vixen the most votes. That’s when they switched it to make the girls vote
Everyone needs to put some respect on Milan's name fr. Milk was not the first to bring androgynous drag to the show, laganja was not the first to have an entrance line. Milan was a true game changer and was paid dust by the show

You could actually put Valentina (or the Vixen) for being the reason that Ms Congeniality was changed. I put Vixen as well bc I never found out which story of why the voting was changed was true.
You forgot Rosé, she was the first queen to never be in the bottom two yet somehow still lose 3 lip syncs in one season.

I believe Chad should be here because she is the reason we have allstars to beging with since allstars 1 was literally created for her. Rolaskatox for being the only clique to make it to the top 4.
Naomi for eliminating two front runners on both S8 and AS4 and making it to both finales with the same challenge win.
Eureka for being the first queen removed from a season for medical reasons and brought back the next one and being successfully pushed to the finale by production.
Ra'jah for being the first queen to have a three seasons arc and win.
Brooke, first queen to host a season.
Crystal, for being the first Ru favorite to survive the production push archetype by not getting hated.
Jaida, for being the first queen to win a season not made for her without needing production meddling.
Symone, for being the first US queen to win after being in the bottom twice.
And wasn't Jaida a last minute cast switch? Makes her win more fierce to me.

Brooke Lynn Hytes - first drag race contestant to host a drag race franchise
Eureka - first queen to be pulled out due to injury (game changer cuz obviously the outcome would’ve been different if Eureka stayed in the competition)
Ginny Lemon - first queen to just actively walk out of a lipsync
Victoria Scone - first cisgender female contestant of the drag race franchise
Tatianna - set the trend for unique/unusual talent show performances apart from the usual singing/dancing/lipsyncing/stunts

I was just thinking about this a few days ago and I agree on most of the list (although I omitted the winners) I would also add:
Yara and Carmen: for being the first double shantay (also Carmen was the first return to the competition after being eliminated in the same season).
Laila and Dax: first double sashay💀
Naomi: for using the game cards and eliminating the front runner.
Valentina: for being largely the cause of lipsync for the crown and new miss congeniality vote system.
Jujubee: for being the first winless top 3.
Latrice and Manila: the firsts to compete in 2 allstars.
Brooke: first former contestant judging the show.
Laila and Dax weren't the first Double Sashay. That was Vivienne Pinay and Honey Mahogany

I definitely would add Ongina and Nina Flowers for their (at the time) unconventional drag style, Milk for bringing masculine drag to the show, and Victoria Scone for being the first afab queen and for doing a full out drag king look on CanVsTW.

Well those are firsts yes... But I think what u. wanted to do was pointing out queens who weren't intentionally cast as first of (something) but rather made an impact that was from that point on replicated (more or less successful) by other queens or production because it worked

S4 as a whole was the last one IIRC to show talking heads in completely different outfits esp in the same episode. Not sure what from which queen(s) influenced that.
I'm pretty sure Milan was the game changer of wig removals being unacceptable & Roxxy established the wig reveal.
I would’ve add Kim because she was the queen to start posting her looks from the show on Instagram which has become a stable for all queens to do

Fans worship Ben for taking herself out of the competition, but I reacted the same way to it as Thorgy on AS3. Like... to ME, it came off as pretemtious, pompous, and arrogant. If you didn't come here to win or make it to the end, why did you agree to compete again the first place? Sure, she may have witnessed some production "shenanigans", but to quote Manila Luzon, "how did you not know what you were signing up for, you already did this, girl".

I personally think Yvie Oddly is more of a game changer than Sharon. While Sharon being spooky and alternative got her the win, Yvie winning only 1 challenge and winning the season for being her alternative self laid way to a whole knee breed of winner where the track record doesn’t really matter, the personality and character does. (Monet X Change, Kylie Sonique Love, Willow Pill)
