What a story! Of a man , though despised in his youth, grew up on the diet of the love of God and let that love become rivers of living water gushing out not only to the despised ones but even to the despising ones. In other words, the story of a man who lived out the Sermon on the Mount and showed to the world that the sermon was the way to live and that the One who gave the Sermon could also give the power and wisdom to live it out in one's life. Thanks for the story. And ,O God, thank You ! May that story become a story of many lives in our world of hate- filled competition for wealth and power.

@Fj2201, we're not sure what you mean by the 2nd part. This video as posted is the complete series on George Washington Carver.
Was He not adopted by a white family who had a daughter so they castrated him? Did he not talk with a high pitch voice due to the castration? I didn’t hear this mention about his story.
That never happened.
🥺 I think you may be right. I had to research this. Hopefully they don’t mention it because his manhood shouldn’t be stripped from the amazing life he did live in word like it was in life-
I’m absolutely beyond shocked to hear this story, and I wish I had not have heard it. He was so much more than a victim. This man was a legend. I’m ashamed I never even knew about him until my 11 year old son wanted to do a project on him. 11- the same age as my son- and castrated.
That is a horrifying story. A man that can overcome this and live the great life George led- is beyond words -beautiful.
He was a blessing, and thank God he is in heaven- his rightful home beside our Lord and Saviour Jesus who no doubt built him the home he deserves- and gave him the love this world could never give.
The Lord gave us a gift in George- someone to shine his light on this dark place- a role model, and an inspiration…. Captivating, humble, brilliant and giving…
