    You shoot butterfly too?!! This video is what is needed out there right now! You are spot on with this one! I knew it was pure gold buy your first statement when you said, “ it’s not the frame that makes the shooter!” So true. It’s amazing what gems you can find for under $55! Thanks again for another great video! 👊🙏💥

    Just got my Wasp Uniphoxx Enzo in yesterday and man that is one fun little frame! I was using the black .6 Snipersling that came on the frame and I just lost myself in it. So freaking enjoyable. It seems “quick” to me (shoot and reload) but I think it was just that it put me immediately into the groove. I’d say within ten minutes it became my new favorite! No joke.

    A Nick Hegarty SPS in 18mm ply is the slingshot I shoot best with and it's one of my cheapest at £25 . Thanks to you last video I banded up the EVO with .8 great white 25-15mm taper , shoots great with 9.5mm and 11mm . If it has good durability could be my new go to setup . The shot on the bottle top through the hole was quality .

    Ive tried some different frames but after a few days I always came back to the Uniphoxx. The Uniphoxx is so good and cheap too. But as you say, its just the frame. When it comes to how your slingshot shoots, the bands are more important than the frame. Well that and a lot of practice....

    • @ATOMark
      @ATOMark  3 роки тому

      I'm not sure its all about the bands. I have some very similar frames some exact in dimensions and there are some I shoot better than others with the same bands set. I think fit and comfort make a big difference in shooting. As For me the uniphoxx i find it locks into my hand extremely well and has all my preferred dimensions .

    Great frames. That natty is sick👏👏👏. Great shooting!☄🎯 🐮👁. I have made some awesome nattys over the yrs but I always end up giving them away. It's either to get someone shooting or to keep their interest up. In my opinion the scout lt is the best production slingshot made. The Enzo is right up there with it.

    • @ATOMark
      @ATOMark  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks a lot brother. I really like that natty. I made a "Sparrow" out of Ash a while back. I really like that frame. Natty's are great because you can carve them to your specs. I agree the scout lt and the Enzo are excellent frames. The scout it a little wide for me but I like it enough to own 3 of them. 3rd is on the way.

    • @ChuckinSteel
      @ChuckinSteel 3 роки тому +1

      @@ATOMark the lt is perfect for me but I got used to shooting 90mm so long that's what I gravitate to. I'm working out an issue with my release right now. Shooters callus is causing ball hop or speed bump effect. Shooting high.

    • @ATOMark
      @ATOMark  3 роки тому +1

      @@ChuckinSteel for me its in consistent anchor. I am fine in the beginning of a shooting session but after a while my face gets used to my hand touching it and it seems like after a while the right spot doesn't feel right any more....if that makes sense.
      I like 85- 90mm frames. The lt is 95 like the evo so I tend to shoot low if I don't adjust. I still shoot it well though. Excellent frame.

    Well, a couple of days ago, I bought a Ka-bar Sweet Move slingshot. My choices were slim on eBay, and at Walmart, and the Ka-bar is "Made in the USA", and I can use tube, or flat (OTT and TTF). It cost me $20.88 after taxes (eBay). There was another Ka-bar for $1.50 less, but I saw it after I bought one.
    I like the looks of the Wasp slingshot. There's a clear Wasp Wolf slingshot on eBay that's in an actual auction, and the bid is at $25.50 (including S&H) right now, with 24 hrs remaining.

    Personally I've been having a blast with 3d printed slingshots. You can 3d print pouch rigs and band cutting rigs too. I have a couple of steel flat band slingshots too, but i always end up shooting the 3d printed stuff instead. Mostly i print wide forked, pinch grip otf slingshots. I print them in 100% infill with esun pla pro (pla+) in all sorts of designs. You could get away with less infill if you are confident you wont hit the fork. Lots of times ill stretch or scale an existing design to fit my hand a little better. I printed a few targets too to hang from a string in my catchbox. im printing a pickle fork rightnow because i want to try them but i don't want to spend money on one because i know ill probably suck at shooting with it lol.

    • @ATOMark
      @ATOMark  2 роки тому

      Thats really cool! Do you design your own shapes too or do you find theprograms off the internet?

    • @alexcrowder1673
      @alexcrowder1673 2 роки тому

      @@ATOMark I havent gotten to the point where I'm able design anything myself, but it can definitely be done.It's only been about a week that ive had the printer, but the printer has been printing slingshots nonstop the whole time since I got it lol. Sometimes I do stretch the x, y, or z axis in the slicer program (a slicer basically just maps the paths yhe 3d printer should take, but can also scale and stretch and determine the infil etc) to resize the slingshots and or make the forks wider. Mostly i just scale them larger to fit my hands better though. Once i learn how ill design and post a bunch of designs of my own. There are already quite a few awesome slingshots posted online though. They have gamekeeper catapults like the ppmg and also most simpleshot models too. Plus a ton of ergonomic pinch grip stuff. There are a bunch of files for OTF TTF or even ocularis plug style slingshots too.

      Just a Y for from a tree branch and 5 minutes with a pocket knife is all that's really needed. If you know how to shoot. I have many slingshots for my son to choose from but he always ends up shooting his natty. He could get food with that thing easily.

      @@ATOMark it’s not the slingshot, it’s the shooter, I spent my childhood summers in Mexico with my cousins. The only toy available toy to us where the cheapest plastic, if not homemade slingshots with tire tubing.we could hit anything.

      I’ve been watching many of your videos in the Jon eventually. But have to agree that you’ve speed wrap through some things that just need to be said slower or at least slow enough for someone to write it down. More work for you would be listing links. Little less work for us lol.

    I would also add The Torque and Wasp FTC. What do you think about these frames? Would love a comparison video!
    Also I've really put my eye on the new Stylus from Mark Seljan. It really looks like a frame for my taste and style. Have you tried it, I would like to know your opinion about it?🤍

      I bought one but I haven't shot it yet. I will get to it soon. Ftc is a good frame but the forks and a little narrow for me and I find the frame a little thin. The torque is a cool frame too but it is a little wide for me. The only complaint is the clips. They are a waste of time. Too much space in the hole. And the clips move too much when tightening. Both frames are well designed and great shooters if they fit you.

      Just under where the band attached mate on 1 of the forks I could've just been unlucky other than that was a good sling to shoot and fairly comfortable in my hand

      Wow that is the first time I have heard of one of wasp frames breaking like that. I always thought they were bomb proof.
