The U.S. Air Force does not use the AH-1, the U.S. Marine Corps does.
And where is the 'over to hill terrain/horizon' Radar dome that was added years ago on top of the blades to protect the whole bird from RPG's?
@@john-y128 you are thinking of the AN/APG-78 Longbow radar system, which is on the AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter, not the AH-1 Cobra helicopter. The U.S. Army uses the AH-64 Apache, the USMC uses the AH-1 Cobra.
Cobras went from T53's to T700 's. Big upgrade from Cobra to Super Cobra.
Marine Corps has been using this Viper for a very long time.
It's basically just a extreme modernization program for the Viper the Apache got there's already upgraded so the Viper was bound to get theirs modernized as well it's just keeping our military up-to-date with modern technology and extending the life of the aircraft
super masina de lupta!
That's why nobody can beat the US in the skies😊so powerful enough
Why promote a USAF helicopter, but then the whole video is about a USMC helicopter?
@@jackw467 I guess!!
The U.S always a step ahead
The Viper is an upgrade for the Cobra. The Marines use it-the Army uses the Apache!
This is a nice marketing video of Bell. As stated in the beginning of this video the main helicopter is state of the art but was put into production 24 years ago. 24 years ago!
That copter looks like an Apache in a Cobra skin.
I knew it, damn grunts can’t live without that cobra lol. Viper ??? lol. I dub thee the “King Cobra” . Forget Viper.. ! It’s King 👑 Cobra 🐍 😅😂
Right, just like the Super Stallion became the King Stallion, why not the Super Cobra to the King Cobra? Makes plenty sense to me!
GO AIR FORCE AND ITS WARRIORS.
Thanks, Hyperspeed.
It's like an A-10 helicopter.
A very cool little chopper!!!👌👌👌
NICE!
Next time you have nothing to say, just tell me
Good to see attention to CAS survivability over land or sea.
Stealth cobra chopper would be nice.
Hmm. The agreement between the Army and the Air Force since the 50s was that the Army would stay out of the Close Air Support (CAS) fixed wing business and the Air Force would stay out of the Attack Helicopter business. I wonder if the Army will acquire the A-10, now that the Air Force wants to retire it. . . .
Army was talking about getting A-10's since the early 90's. Back in my days.
That might be the point😊
@@richardhamilton1567 True. That was about the time the Air Force was openly wondering if they really wanted the CAS mission and also wondering if they couldn't use the money for A-10s to fund a "newer, better fighter" program.
That helicopter belongs to the Marins not the air force
It's an older airframe than the Apache the cobra was the first attack helicopter
Hii 🙋♂️ From Malaysia ❤
Looks like a "Cobra" to me!!! Did y'all say the "Air Force" is Using this???
Apache用に開発されてるレーザー兵器搭載も視野に‼️笑😁✈️🚢
This announcement, when taken in context with a previous announcement that the Army dropped the two advanced observation helicopter programs after spending billions in R&D on those programs in favor of drones, may indicate some fundamental shifts in joint services war fighting. The Air Force is funded for longer term contracts than the army. If the Air Force is now getting fully on board with it's Close Air Support missions for an engagement on the islands of the South Pacific, then maybe just maybe the two services are finally shifting priorities towards what's going to be needed to counter a certain peer adversaries imperialist ambition.
It has been in service for some time now. It isn't advanced as the AH-64 Apache.
US weapon very strong n orig.than China 2b succesfully❤❤❤
Wow, they could test this in Donbass, Ukraine
My Uncle just retired from Bell and was in charge of the weapon systems software for this bird.
I had a chance for a ride in the Cobra from a Warrant officer I was friends with, and I regret not doing it. I'm afraid of hights,
Those are obsolete!
YAHOO AIR FORCE MAN
That one missle.
👍👏
What about the Hughes AH-64E Apache Guardian Gunship?
Why does the Apache have a 30mm gun and the viper have a 20mm?
The thread that Binds 😂
I thought they retired these two decades ago.
The Air Force doesn’t fly combat helicopters.
Yes they do.
Air Force special operators fly the little bird, or so I thought.
@@JohnDoe-rj9cq we do fly on Army Little Bird however we flew on AF 53’s, Huey’s and the occasional Blackhawk. . . Though, I retired in 95.
Says air force right on the side of it soo..... maybe
Sure it does, special ops use!
It’s A Marine Helicopter Not Air Force
But Apache is mine😅❤
The hyperbole is unparalleled!
Okay is it for the US Marines or US Army and US Navy ?
Marines only
Why was a Turkish drone shown in the video.
WeII your grandma must be LADY GAGA
Keep working on the stealth armour air to ground rocket? Roa Aotearoa nui.
is that
John Goodman
American actor
That's a U.S. Marine Corps helicopter
Says air force right on the side so.....
This is a very old Hele with a few new upgrades
❤
Helicopters are vulnerable. The Ukraine war proved that.
No the army do,s not fly that one 1:57
Ill bet the pinkos are franticly trying to hack the plans for this gear
❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
I hate to burst your bubble but the USAF doesn't fly that chopper. The Army does
I hate to burst your bubble, but neither does the Army...It's the Marines Corp
@pernskyw1289 My bad. The army has the apache. I forgot.
Army got rid of Cobras in the 90's when I was in. Marines use them due to there size being able to land on Carriers and twin engines. Flying in a Cobra is a blast. To bad the Army went to GSAB. My job Asa powerplant mechanic allowed me to perform engine vibe checks on the aircraft. Fly Army. Hookers do it better.
Marines
Any technology sold to 🇵🇰 Pakistan, is immediately resold ( at a nice profit ) to the highest bidder between China 🇨🇳 and Russia 🇷🇺. ☆
2 expensive, no ejection system.
helecopter is a settingduck in modern warfare
most common usage,,, to invade poor country, then claim it a 'battle proven' piece of equipment.
This is Old!!!!
This is a very old helicopter. The Marines have been using it since 2010. I've just deleted your channel for being untruthful.
❤🇱🇰🇺🇲👨👩👦👦🌸🌸🌸🌸
The US Marines use chopper not the Army or Air Force.
Always bragging about the best Russian have the most advanced
lol
😂 that is funny as hell cuz it's totally not true
