- Meet Tucker! He was one of 40 dogs and 75 other animals rescued from a suspected puppy mill in Gates County, North Carolina in 2013. The animals were living in squalor with access to very little food or water. Watch this sweet Boston Terrier's story to see how far he has come and how much he loves life with his Mom, Florence!
god bless Tucker and all the HUMANE SOCIETY'S GREAT WORK THAT THEY DO!!
God Bless You ALL! And TY so much Florence and Hubby for giving TUCKER a BEAUTIFULL LIFE! Forever more! TY
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. God bless you
This is why I give you money all the time for all the tucker's in the world thank you and god bless Michael
This makes me cry :(
I love animals so much, if I could I would keep over 10dogs with me
I am waiting for that right time to adopt a lovely dog like tucker and change both our lives. Thanks
Thank you so much to all animal rescuers. You're all HEROES
I have Mia. She was pulled from the Gates County puppy mill along with Tucker. She was one of the lucky ones. She is now the princess of all the things. Respiratory issues from the stage 5 heartworms. But twice a year xrays and echos...lots of meds...keeps her with me. Puppy mills....no heartworm prevention...no quality diet...no clean water...filthy conditions...no kindness.... What a cruel, miserable existence. There needs to be punishment for the horrible humans that think this is okay. These sweet little bundles of love deserve everything. And I know they sit in misery, hungry, and sad wondering why there is never any kindness reciprocated. This crushes my heart and soul.
What happens, nearly all the time with an animal rescued from a hell-hole like this..they are given 'love-groceries-vet care', and once safe, they start to lose their fear. Respond to real caring! And blossom into the great dogs THEY ALWAYS WERE. My hats off to the Humane. Think I'll send a memorial donation in honor of my mom, who dearly loved my sister's rescue dog, Moonie. He was her stedfast companion, there by her bed when she died peacefully in her sleep, at 95....
One day I am gonna join HSUS. You guys are amazing! I don't know what the world would do without you. God bless you
Florence you are my hero
What is so sad is that there are so many other animals that have been treated like Tucker who are never rescued. They live and die in those messes. It breaks my heart.
Well Done.....good and faithful rescuers. Blessings.
THANK YOU
You guys are all heroes to so many people-Tucker is so cute and he found an excellent momma-you can tell that Florence completely adores him. What a nice story it brought me to tears

I love Bostons!
So happy for Tucker and this lady. Praying, hoping, wanting, etc, is fine, but it's action that gets it finally done. Say no to Puppy Mills. Adopt.
Sooo beautiful video
Bravo, hsus.
Thank you from japan
What a nice dog. I adopted a dog that was about to be euthanized cause he was to old and they considered her as a ugly dog. A animal is to love and not discriminate. Now she died this year and I said to myself that the dog could rest in peace and died in a normal way and peacefully.
brian TAMBACO Hi! Thank you for watching Tucker's story and for sharing your own. We are so happy to hear that you took in that beautiful dog. No matter the age or their "attractiveness" they are all deserving of love. Keep up the great work.
Brian Gotti.. Good work Brian love the story!! I adopted a boston terrier rescued from an amish puppy mill for 7years, and I took her back because honestly I just though she was too fragile and not a very good looking dog.(I'm an idiot I know!) Luckily, the next family that she was going to also took her back. They're giving me another opportunity and that's all I need!! Get my Rosie back this Sunday an I can't wait!
"A animal is to love and not to discriminate", well said! What a mistake I made/never again!
sooooo cute
I live in the nc and I have a boston terrier
out of all the breeds and not that any other deserves.. how can you do that to a Boston?
🙏🙏🙏
We have a Boston terrier puppy named sassy
This need to stop here in North Carolina. We can all help. We need new laws.
Where do I find a cheap dog? Are they free when it's a "rescue"? Or is a"puppy mill bust" like a conquering of the land? Do you have to go in and take them by force?
Can't change the law, to forbid puppy mil?
😚😚😚
sad
Crime to own liv with dog/animals inside city limits, get the dog's out!
