one of my favourite parts of world building are magic systems! The recent Refugium video wone of my favourite videos of yours, and the flowery language made it 10x better. It kind of felt like a set of weird stories from the past of the world!
The prose actually reminded me of the conlangs the world uses, so it was a really cool decision. Glad you stuck with it, and happy to see another language construction episode (especially since I have a very rudimentary functioning Goblin language now)!
The turkish thing with the dubitative is only used in spoken langauge btw, it's not used in formal settings Ome more thing about the "-miş" suffix is that it can be doubtful or ridiculing in certain contexts. If someone says "Neymiş efendim, amcası hastalanmış da onun için haber vermeden il dışına gitmiş." When translated on surface level this would mean something like "What is it my lord, his uncle got sick and that is wht he needed to go out of the city." This translation has an oddity at the start and the sentence itself doesn't seem to indicate any doubt. This sentence uses the "-miş" suffix on a lot of words like "hastalanmış(he got ill)" "gitmiş(he went)" and the first part before the comma is an expression that means "What is it my lord" with the reportative on "Ne(What), Neymiş" and it is a sarcastic statement that you say when you're doubful or when you disagree with someone. The use of the conjunction "da" in the middle also suggests doubt since the use of "için(because of)" is usually enough to form the sentence. "da" is normally used to mean something like addition, like "too". "O mu geliyor?" means "Is he coming?" but "O da mı geliyor" means "Is he coming too?". The use of "da" in this case suggests that the situation explained before "da", "amcası hastalanmış" meaning "his uncle got sick(with reportative), is already unbelievable enough and the added information, "il dışına çıkmış" meaning "he went out of the city(with reportative)", makes the situation told by this person even more unbelievable. In this case the use of "-miş" makes it clear that we are using this for a specific person and that we don't believe what the person is saying Btw I'm not too good with terminology and stuff so if this is unclear I'm sorry
If I were you, I would have the geminate s in nimirurra turn into geminate s (i.e. nimirulla). I'm also pretty sure the would turn into , giving nimirëlla. I also think the liquid dissimilation should just go left to right rather than depend on stress (i.e the word rakáár should be rakáál), but this isn't based on any evidence, just my person opinion. As for the Seven Essences of the Refugium video, I thought it was so good that I wouldn't mind if you temporarily abandoned the channel to work on the story you were writing about it (not that I'm saying you definitively should, just that I wouldn't mind if you did). I genuinely think it has the potential to be as successful as the works of Tolkien or Star Wars. Refugium 2.0 WAS really good. The ritualistic description of the past was super immersive. Your ideas Are good; i hope i speak for every one when I say, the time you took on R2 was well spent. Maybe the doubt helped the artistic process? Embrace your doubt! It was the right instinct for a top quality viewing.

(My linguistics career consists of 4 years of latin in high school) your problems with the applicative, couldn't it be solved if you make an exception for that one valence case called causative? Like you add a certain word without inflexion in the post lang ? I.e. Proto: i causedo you to be happy You causede you to be happy They causedess you to be happy Post: i happy caused You happy caused They happy caused This could show the différenciation between causative and trans/detransive as a realtively new development; that might be spicy. While it looks repetitive on a table, it wouldn't really look repetitive in a text. An inventory document wont randomly switch person or gender or case or whatever midway through stating tax payments.
This is one of the single most interesting series on the platform, thank you for continuing to work hard on it and give us all something to really ponder!
Q: Couldn't reduplicating the Inferential work as a Mirative? (Kinda like how reduplication of the Reportative works as a Dubutative.) Of course, this assumes that you're not trying too hard to limit the number of evidentials... __ Just a thought... ^^

I’m about 3 minutes in and you’re talking about palatalization and it reminded me that proto-Slavic to Polish had about three palatalizations. I remember because I’m working on an a posteriori language based on it right now, so it’s on my brain.
While discussing the causative valaceny changing suffix, you mention a possible solution, the causative evoilving really late in the language, and a possibl;e problem, an early causitive vanishing completely within certain words. Could this, along with the vowel changes, be leveraged to explain why a new causative was implemented late in the language? Perhaps there was an early causative that worked as you later described, but as the language continued to evolve, it became progressively less clear, completely disappearing in some cases, and less easy to implement. This ultimately lead to a new causative taking over, much closer to the present day. I've never made a conlang, and donot know much about languiages, so this is just a thought. Hopefully it's interesting and/or useful to you.
I really like the causative doubling the principle parts/basically forming its own independent paradigm though! It feels really semitic without even being directly inspired by it. I would imagine the speakers of this language might generalize the vowel patterns of a few common verbs and derive forms that never existed in the case of borrowings and new derivations that rhyme with such a common verb.
While I agee, such languages would be (in a literal sense) very alien as they probably don't have the same system for producing sound, nor stuff like tongues, etc. In part 12, the first we hear of the Osteopods making complex sounds, it's logically located near their lungs, but since the lungs aren't connected to their mouth, the probably don't have dental sounds or stuff made with a tongue. The only Lophostome I remember mentioned was the Pipiodontia, but that organism also didn't make sound with it's mouth, nor even air for that matter, but it's mouth parts through stridulation, probably only able to make chirping sounds
So I don't know about the Romance languages, but Swedish has something resembling liquid dissimilation in a noun derivation form (the use of which I can't quite explain other than it giving a sort of casual tone to the thing), and it definitely works with geminates. The base rule for this form is to cut the word off as soon as you reach a non-initial consonant cluster, and apply the -rre suffix (ex. fisk /fɪsk/ > firre /fɪrːɛ/). However, if there's an r before this cutoff point, the suffix becomes -lle (ex. präst /prɛst/ > prälle /prɛlːɛ/).
