She did in Adolescence of Utena. I think when Utena left the RGU world, she went to AOU world-the final threshold of both Utena & Anthy's journey to adulthood. Anthy goes to save Utena in AOU, and then they together escape to the real world of adults. As the show is heavily metaphorical, I think this interpretation fits well within the show's narrative.
