Thx for reading the description! =)
Keep going. The Tool army will show up.

@@illuminahde true statement 😂
Reporting for duty! Semper Fidelis!
Lemon juice up in your eyes = crying fake tears (that’s what actors would do if they needed to cry in a scene).
@@jameswatt5557 ahhh that makes sense, thx I've been wondering about that for days XD
It's also a double entendre like so many of tools lyrics. Lemon juice is also a reference to urine, which you got in your eye when you pissed on his black kettle. While also being a reference to the fake tears as mentioned! Great song lyrically.
the citric acid causes the whites of the eyes to have a light shade of purple, cozen indigo...
The song is about hypocrisy. "The pot calling the kettle black" is a popular saying.
Good ear. Gonna be a Maynard fan and we are here for it 🌀🌀🌀
An old saying that points out hypocrisy is "the pot calling the kettle black". In this old saying it's the pot that is the hypocrite. So... the song is about hypocrites with allusions to corrupt justice systems (kangaroo courts) and recreational substances that are banned (pot). Another old saying about hypocrisy is "don't throw stones if you live in a glass house", meaning that if you are engaged in the same behavior/activities you are admonishing that you are no better than the person you are berating. The lemon juice in the eye is a reference to how actors will put lemon juice in their eyes to produce tears for an acting scene, or in this case it's about crocodile tears or fake outrage.
Spiral out! Welcome to The Rabbit Hole known as Tool!
Good call on avoiding official music vids. Tool makes them super freaky. But worse, yet they’re usually censored. Breaks the flow. I didn’t hear a shout out to the drummer, did I? Did I mention Forty Six & 2? That’s a warm-up.🌀
Nicely done. Keep being genuine and we’ll keep watching! Try Vicarious next-and break down the message. It’s a good one
TOOL ARMY UNITE!
OGT93 reporting lol
😂
here fellow nerds
I could smell a new tool reaction...
Tool army unite!!! ❤❤
Such great Tool and so much more to discover. (Forty-six and 2, Pneuma, Sober, etc.) Suggestion: Cherub Rock by the Smashing Pumpkins.
🤘🏼I was just thinking Forty Six & two but what Smashing Pumpkins song…
The part in the beginning you called the guitar part is actually played on the bass! 😀 love this tune. Super fun to play! 🤙
Here for TOOL! Greatest band ever. Not a single bad song.
Actually.. You're right.. So true, so true.. Good thinking, very nice..
Here to support your journey diving into TooL Enjoy man it's gonna be a wil ride!
Fun reaction. Good to see. Now listen carefully - react to Jinjer- Pisces Live Studio version... If you watch it... THEY WILL COME!

welcome to TOOL it will be a ride
Sober live at reading festival, it got me hooked on tool!
Best band in the world❤ Danny best living drummer❤ They make no bad music...truth
Definitely think with Tool specifically, but a number of other groups, it is best to do lyric videos. Tool has a lot of meaningful lyrics, and sometimes the same verse could mean several things if you think about them. Enjoy learning wherever you can. Explore it all. Listen. Great, yet simple reaction.
I remember when these guys came out 30ish years ago and I just kind of avoided them, until recently, it was a reaction video to this song started me on my Tool Journey. I am a guitar player and everything about this band blows my mind. I wish I had been into them when they first came out.
Yasss. Tool. ❤
I heard the call. Have fun on the journey.
First time watching you. Love your reaction style. You have a new team member. I'm excited to see where your journey takes you, and to see what bands you get most excited about. There is so much out there. I'm 53 and I'm still finding new stuff - current and past. My tastes change. So I appreciate bands or artists today that I didn't before. Your tastes will change over time. You will find new things that will blow your mind, and some simple things that are easily overlooked but just about everyone does because it just works. Anyways, I'm rambling here. I encourage you to stay curious and follow a path that YOU like. This is your journey. We are just viewers. Stay you. And stay awesome.
@@guitaroffthecuff-davids5528 Thank you!!! 🙏
Okay cool, you started with the introduction song, now. You should go all the way back and start. As in from the beginning, because only then will you see the timeline, and you will see exactly WHY Tool is an amazing band. Pull a Megamind 1 and go back, all the way back to where it began, and I’ll meet you on the other side. 🌀
@@syntheticvocalist-p472 see you there 🫡
💯
Just, keep listening to Tool, kids, there's nothing better than that, you'll see when you're 43,like me, and I was just like you, not exactly, but u know what I mean, I was 15 or something like that when I started...
Life is crazy, but Tool always does the job, whatever you need, it only keeps giving and giving..
Greetings.
Tool fan from Québec Canada 🇲🇶🇨🇦🤟 Tx young man! 🖐️ I subscribe to help you grow! Love when the young ones react, keep going! 👌
@@eviljeep Thank you!! :)
Tool is the best show in town. The most talented band likely ever. I would strongly recommend Pneuma, Descending, and Lateralus! Welcome to the Tool Army!
@@joehochgreve5710 thx! 🤘
Tool is what metal aspires to be on it's best day.
Gonna be fun to watch this kid spiral!!! My advice, some songs are much harder to understand in a foreign 2nd language is English. Some songs (Right in Two, Pneuma, The Patient…) let you interpret the meaning for yourself, and no one is wrong. Others (Lateralus, Descending, 46&2, Jambi…) just take you for a ride. (I know they all do!) So, if you get into a song like this one that has a very cryptic slang spoken, just let the lyrics go, and come back to them later… enjoy!! Greetings from Montana
I dont know what the legalities of pot are over there, but Rosetta Stoned by Tool was one of my favorite songs to jam out to when i was able to smoke.
PS, dont smoke unless you're of legal smoking age, lol.
Jambi, sober, vicarious, eulogy, pushit list keys/rosetta stoned
That's a good track! I hadn't listened to Tool before. My suggestion for a track: Crawling by Linkin Park (although KRWLNG, the remix version is good too)
These lyrics for this song in particular are the most metaphoric the most confusing out of all of them. Please do continue to do lyrics for the rest of them.
Lemon juice up in your eyes means to cry false tears.
"The Witness" by Adam Jones maybe.
The actual video, because the music is pretty basic and instrumental. It's ¾s of Tool.
Old American guy just discovering your channel this morning. It looks to me as if you put a lot of work into this video and I can appreciate your effort. I’m going to check your playlists to see if you have reacted to any iron maiden, which happens to be my favorite metal band. You definitely have a new sub. Thank you young sir. Greetings from Florida.
My recommendation to you is to blow your mind and react to Iron Maiden’s classic song Hallowed Be Thy Name. You will NOT regret it. I highly recommend you listening to the studio version from their Number Of The Beast album before you listen to their fantastic live versions.
@@PilloryClinton Thank you!! 🙏I would love to have a first time reaction to that song but the problem is I also love Iron Maiden! But I sure can react to some songs that havent heard yet! Thx for the idea!!
@@metalteen. You are clearly a man of good taste.
Dig a little deeper, you just found the tip of the iceberg.
You should listen to AlterBridge-Words Darker Than Their Wings - live from Royal Albert Hall
Lemon Juice Up In Your eye means your going to cry ( lemon juice makes you tear up when it hits your eyes) or Fake Tears!
That's a pretty good interpretation. I could see it, thoughts and prayers and all.
The tool rabbit hole will scare them lol
Check out All That Remains “divine.” A bit more aggressive but also more modern. Great reaction!
Tool is timeless. All that remains is pretty dope too.
I see the guitars in the background so I gotta challenge for you. Do a reaction to "pnueuma" and see if you can call the time signatures for the guitars vs the drums you'll see how/why they sound different from other bands
TOOL Army unite!
❤🌀
Hey, your a nice kid. People will like you, just make sure to test the sound.
Oh man.. I would give you an like but 420 on The Pot cannot be broken! :D
@@EiriUesugiKun haha True!
Wait til you hear the song “Lateralus” 🖤🤘🏻
In my opinion, You can't be a Metalhead unless you pay homage to Black Sabbath I highly recommend Under the Sun (Ozzy) Sign of the Southern Cross (Dio) & Trashed (Gillan).
Climb aboard The World of Metal has such an Adventure planned for you....8
🤯cool song
TOOL Army in the house!!🎉 🌀
Lateralus, the patient or sober live from redding next. Spiral out.
He’s not there yet.
🤘🤘
Sweet SG.

Suggestion, turn your music audio UP, it's quite low on our end, which is no bueno for Tool...LOL
@@chriswebb7822 yeah I was thinking the same, will do!
So are you a metal head or, are you looking to experience all the crazy music of the 90's or earlier?
@@desireesprague6258 Im kind of a metalhead already, but im trying to dig deeper
Dude react to THE WARNING
You don’t so much listen to Tool as you experience Tool
Are you planning to change your channel name when you turn 20?
@@Vanished_Mostly hahah Idk I kinda have to I guess? Either that or give the Channel away to a new teen that can continue the legacy without me 😅
Be careful of what rabbit hole you go down. There are 2 clear ones. Follow Maynard and lose the band. Follow the band and you forget that Maynard is also an instrument. The fact that you haven't mentioned the drumming explains you aren't there yet. I can't wait until you get the whole thing and have you oh shit moment.
Do i hear a swedish "swinglish" accent? Must be scandinavia right kid?

I'm sorry but this my first time listening to Tool but they don't impress me at all. Very basic and singer is nothing great or anything. Maybe the drummer is ok.
