Always spray the baking pan with Pam or another oil type spray. It will make the release from mold much better :)
When Mitchel and Marcus poured the batter into the SpongeBob pan.
I literally yelled "YOU DIDN'T GREASE THE PAN!"
I yelled at the tv before he poured the batter. 😂😂 Always gotta grease your cake pan with butter, crisco, or pam/cooking spray before pouring your batter. Thankfully you can always salvage it with the decorating! 😊❤

I would have loved to see the Rugrats one done ! I think Marcus could have nailed it. Mitch’s cake was creative forsure! & lemon cake sounds pretty good.. I’ll give the W to Marcus for being more detailed & like that it’s not overly frosted just enough.. I like sprinkles on a donut but on a cake would be too much for my liking. Overall both of you did great 😊.. ever need a taste tester I’m here👋🏻 😂

You gotta reeeeeeally oil up the pan. Also helps to let the cake cool for 30 mins or so before trying to remove from the pan

Mitchell did a good job with the frosty look of the quickster yet Marcus is actually coming up slightly perfect the way how he added details of his sponge cake, now THATS what I call technique🍰

Lol u didn't spray the pan. My inner culinary side was screaming at the screen. Specially because those two pans are my entire childhood and I've always wanted to make one. Lol this was by far one my favorite videos u guys have done recently. Being a chef watching you guys make our childhoods in 2023 just brings me so much joy.
