People look at homes in that condition and just assume that they can not be fixed. Well, they are made with cheap materials to begin with so anything you put back into it is likely going to be an improvement. My first place was a two bed, one bath single wide that had been abandoned for over ten years. I was in college and had $5k left over from my grant so I decided to buy a lot; the trailer was on the lot. The guy actually let me have the lot cheaper because he felt sorry for me that I was going to have to remove that trailer; got it for $2500 plus $400 in back tax and service fees... in 2008. Little did he know that that wreck of a trailer was the main reason I wanted the place. Took 2 years to get the place livable and safe and another two years to get it looking nice but I did it... by myself for the most part. It never looked perfect because I really had no professional skills starting off but its still standing and looks great; I use it as a second home because I don't live in my hometown anymore and when someone needs a temporary spot to crash in the family they end up there.
Wow! Makes me thankful when I see these filthy trailers, I realize I am a good housekeeper after all! I always feel guilty when I don't get every thing done
Thats nuts. I grew up in a 2 bedroom single wide. I couldnt imagine fitting 5 bedrooms into a single wide. Im still kinda confused on how they did it. That living room and kitchen still look about normal sized.
All I have to say is that someone wasn't a very good house keeper. This home looks to me is a 14X75 or 80 ft. But if you have the money everything can be fixed. Merry Christmas Donnie and Ronnie.
Most parks won’t accept older homes these days, even in good condition. But if the initial purchase is cheap enough and someone had their own property, a working man could stay in this and rehab it a paycheck at a time. 4 to 8 feet at a time, you could end up with a cheap jump start to a nice home at a fraction of a builder home cost. Considering what a couple home inspectors are showing on their channels, I would rather rehab this dump than purchase a new construction home.
WTF! Ceilings are "NO WAY" 7.5 feet, unless those hollow core plastic doors are custom height. Or, your basing your measurement from the centerline in the kitchen. I'm gonna assume that closet door is inset, so it can be opened a little more than six inches, if one decides to put an actual twin-size bed or crib in that 1st bedroom. Think it through, I'm a just guessing, I could very well be wrong; just a chick with no experience in building, carpentry or framing.
The rebuild time on that is nuts. I would honestly throw that one out and just buy a while new one. Then again some people have the money and TONS OF PATIENCE so see a rebuild like this through. The head aches of going through the whole process of remodeling this doesn't make sense. I wonder if it was actually purchased for a stage prop for a movie where they are showing a house that had a fire in it! Or it could be used as a scary house prop on a haunted farm experience!
Merry Christmas to you and your families. I always enjoy watching your tours. You both have a lot of valuable information. It didn't appear that all of those bedrooms had closets.
Great videos. I always wonder , the brother behind the camera? We never see him or his name. Catch myself as he pans around trying to see him. Maybe one day I will catch him in one of the mirrors as he walks by.
OMG I can’t believe people are this DAMN NASTY.!! 🤮 YUCK!!!! I know you guys a really good at remodeling these homes but I wouldn’t touch that thing with a ten foot pole.
WOW WEE that’s a mess!! How did they squeeze 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in that? Room for water heater not stuffed in a closet 👏🏻👏🏻and furnace in this one too. That fan made me laugh. I can’t even with you touching that fridge door YUCK wash your hands. You 2 remind me of my brothers. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU FELLAS AND YOUR FAMILIES!!🎄🌲🎅💋
I'm guessing they no longer want you guys to use their company name in your videos? I would think if anything, you guys are helping them out, by showing what they have to offer. Considering you could have a family of 6, living in this house, definitely a bit tight. Be interesting to see what they do with this place.
Donnie, what are you doing? Kidding aside, I think most people know you aren't affiliated with them and you're just trying to create interesting content. Love all the videos, both trailers and refurbishment!!!
@@mybrotherdonnie That's amazing. What do you reckon a single wide in as bad of condition as this would sell for? It looks like scrap time to me, but sounds like the uniqueness of 5 bedrooms makes it worth fixing up.
Merry Christmas Donnie and Ronnie and family! I’ve never heard of a single wide mobile home, it looks long though. Ronnie: How did the stove get that dirty? Donnie: With the rest of the house! 🤣🤣🤣 This home looks like it was under water! I wonder if it came from a city that got flooded? 🤔 Donnie looking like he doesn’t want to go down that hallway lol Have a good day you two.
To fix it’s a lot cheaper than buying a house around here you cannot buy a house with that much square footage for under a couple hundred thousand dollar
We have a 1997 Fleetwood 4 bedroom 2 bathroom 16 x 80 Single wide. We absolutely love it.
Cool

Same thing we was thinking
That's a 97? I would have guessed a '87. I live in a '72 and it's in much better condition than that. was it owned by a family of gorillas? god...
That's an insult to gorillas....
No wayyyy single wide
Wayyyyyyyy
This is EXACTLY what I said when I saw the title.

Merry Christmas, guys!! 🎄 5 bedroom??!!! That's crazy for a sw!!
Merry Christmas to you too absolutely crazy as hell
Great walk through. I always look to see the potential in these. This one seems a little more rough than some of the others. Do you what it sold for?
I do not. I think they put a placeholder on it saying it’s sold until they fix it.
Merry Christmas you guys always make me laugh I appreciate you!
Merry Christmas to you
reminds me of my trailer but it was not this new and nice
Creepy! You could shoot a Saw movie in there! Merry Christmas fellas.

I believe its an 82 foot. A friend of mine has one and he has a bunch of kids.
You can put a sheet metal roof on that in a day. Dont be lazy😂
Yeah, really
My friend mom and dad had one like that back in 95
Cool
Can u get a used one bedroom one bath
That boy is clapped out for sure
Yep
That’s gotta be a mile long
Don’t fill any longer than a normal one
Biohazard inside..
Total gut job but you can do it good luck😂😂
All that damage near the roof? Nooooooo! And it was sold? OMGosh. Mold, mold, mold. For how much? Geez. Maybe bought or the trailer base.
Used single Wides are usually 25,000
In a Michigan 55+ park , singles from mid 80s-90s are running $70,000
These prices are not for dumps but very nice condition.
@@rcr1973 around here very nice ones to bring 100,000

I hate to break it to the buyer and the seller, but this thing is scrap.
How do those have ANY value to them AT ALL???? IMHO its worth ZERO
