I’m going to try making those ice lanterns. I remember when you made them last winter, so cool. The art museum looks amazing. Do they ever switch out exhibits? Nice video…Be well and stay safe!😊
They have one permanent exhibition with their own collection and then do different exhibitions in another part of the museum. I visited an Albert Edelfelt exhibition there a while back. It was amazing aswell! 🤩
Olen käyttänyt tuota samanlaista sahaa kaadettujen puiden karsimiseen.
Lovely video, the art exhibition and book looked fascinating and inspirational. Interesting that you prefer to read in Swedish, is that your first language?
Another fantastic video, Camilla. Is your home in Northern Finland or South? My husband keeps asking me. Lol. When you were looking at that book, I sincerely thought it was all your artwork. I had to go back and watch it again. The exhibit at the museum looked intriguing. Thanks for sharing some of your adventure.
It's due to the popular use of a naturally pigmented paint originally made from red dirt pigment, linseed oil and rye flour. It's been used since atleast the 17th century since making it was easy, cheap and it's still considered a very good anti-weathering paint to this day. Not to mention it's quite pretty! 😁
living in South Texas, I am not understanding why you are putting your blankets and pillows outside with snow on the ground? And, when are you going to start another painting?
When it's well below 0 degrees, the air is at it's dryest which is the most effective for airing out bedding. Makes them feel and smell fresh. 😁 I think I've also heard that very low temperatures (like -18 or below) will kill dust mites. As for the rug, the super dry air combined with powdery snow a good way to sort of "wash" rugs that shouldn't be washed with water. Hopefully starting another painting soon, although I have quite a few that I still haven't finished.
That cabinet of curiosities is a work of art. I love it. Everyone should have one.
I love your peaceful life with animals in the winter wonderland ❤
I got the same book in a local bookshop. Its such a nice inspirational book to have ❤

Kiitos vinkistä! Tämä täytyy pistää korvan taakse jos tulee käytettyä ahkerastikin. 😁

That Dark Inspiration book looks awesome, it's now on my wishlist. Those ice lanterns are beautiful. Love your furbabies too.

@ thank you for the explanation…I like the environmentally conscious element! And it is pretty..and sticks out in snow! (which I thought was a reason)
Ei todellakaan ole kaikki talot punaisia Suomessa! 😅
Doggo looked at you like "fix this." He was indignant. Cats don't know their place.
He's very particular about things. 😂
