I’m so happy you’re feeling better. The cheese looked so simple to make, and now I have no excuse for using an inferior cheese sauce. Thank you for teaching this old fog a new trick. 👍
G'day again. OK that took a bit longer to watch as I had to pause you and go heat up some food. I am so weak. 🤣 Good stuff LeAnne. You look after yourself, Daz.
This looks so yummy, can’t wait to try it and girl I hope your husband knows how lucky he is. Sorry you were sick, its hard, you take medicine to try to get better, but then it causes other problems, be there done it🙁 I’m glad to see you and get great ideas for recipes. Take care of yourself. ❤️Christy
Agree with you, the Vitamix is a game changer, love mine too, Make peanut butter for hubby with no salt (tho I do add a pinch, what he doesn't know won't hurt him) with no added 'junk' and it tastes so good.
I agree, everyting is better the next day once the flavors hang out and do their magic. My sister had a friend gift her a Vitamix because the friend was moving 🎁 I'll have to ask my sister if she's made soups or cheese sauces in it, your recipe is nice!
I love watching your videos and rarely comment. I just want to mention that I got a sterile gut from a brain surgery I had in 2012. They put me on so many antibiotics that all my gut bacteria died. That was more painful than the brain surgery. It took my months to recover! Lots of fermented foods. Good luck and God Bless you :)
yay no more sickness!!!! that PC chopper is THE BEST!!!! use it so many times a week! I"m gonna need to find a big crockpot like that!! I agree most food is better the next day, I'm going to look for the starter video!!!
LeAnne, don't know how I missed this video when published. I ALWAYS learn new things from you! Vitamins for cheese sauce..LIGHT BULB MOMENT! I have one that doesn't get used nearly enough. Would love more vitamix "recipes" if you will. This casserole looks super yummy. I agree with you, cooking from scratch SO much better for you and cheaper then processed foods. Thanks for sharing your talents and wisdom. Blessings to you!-Lori
I plan to show how to make Mayo and other dressings in the future using the Vitamix. I also thought about showing how to make pizza dough and bread using the Vitamix as well. I was worried that there wasn’t a desire for that.
I can sympathize with your antibiotic reaction; I too had the same reaction. It took two years before my stomach felt almost normal after a 14-day run of taking 3 different antibiotics. It was awful!!! As I am watching you make your casserole, and listening to you talk about your husband liking mac n cheese a thought came to my mind... Instead of using hashbrowns, use elbow macaroni so you have bake mac n cheese over sloppy joes. Yum! I have a vita mixer and don't use it nearly enough. You have inspired me take it off the shelf and make better use of it. Thanks! Blessings, K.
I love my Vitamix so much! I get nervous using it in videos because not everyone can afford one. I think everyone cant afford not to have one. I use mine so much!
Catching up on some of the videos I've missed tonight and I'm impressed with that cheese sauce. I've never done that in my Vitamix before, have to try that now. Sorry you were so ill in October, that's no fun. Stay healthy now!
This looks really good Leanne like something my family would like to eat. I always wanted a Vitamix but never ended up with one and at this stage of my life I probably won't get one so I guess I'll have to do the cheese sauce with the elbow grease but that's all right it's not hard. Thank you I'm glad you're feeling better
The casserole looks wonderful! I’m going to make soon. My husband loves sloppy joes! I also really like your slow cooker, do you mind telling me where you got it? I have to get a new canner so I can can your sloppy Joe sauce. Thank you so much and I’m glad you are doing better.
Glad to see you are feeling better. I think almost everything tastes better the next day too. I'm definitely going to be making that cheese sauce soon. Do you find the 9x13 slow cooker good for most dishes? I've thought about getting one and wonder how that compares to the standard type.
This looks delicious and an easy recipe. Saving this just for the cheese sauce recipe! Do you use the heat button on your Vitamix while making the sauce? Very glad you are recovering. Remember to drink lots of fluids-even when you think you are finished with your illness. Do you have the dry container for your Vitamix? Very useful for grinding grains into flour. Unless you have an actual mill, of course. Wish I had a mill.
It doesn’t have a heat button but the motor is 2.4 Hp and the blades go so fast that it creates friction that will heat up food and can be boiling after 6 minutes. I know I need to get in a better habit of drinking water.
@@MennoniteFarmhouse So the heat is a help. Will be making the cheesy potatoes in my crockpot today. Need some sloppy Joe starter before I can make that-all my tomatoes were canned into tomato sauce.
Do you mean a blender that’s not high speed? You might be able to but it would take way longer and wear it out. If you don’t have a blender like mine, it’s best to do it on the stove and keep stirring.
I eat low carb so instead of a layer of cheesy potatoes, I'd use a layer of cheesy cauliflower. Yum! Then I'd sprinkle shredded cheese on top for the last hour in the crockpot.😊🍳
Oh that’s a great idea…. I could do half and half of the cauli and potatoes… I need low card but husband needs all the carbs he can get. My Crocktober video that’s coming out Tuesday is low carb… at least the main course is.
Thumbs up from the Dooleys of Michigan
Looks great! I am new here, looking forward to watching more of your content! Thank you 😊
G'day LeAnne!
I missed you mate!👍
So happy to see you and I'm be back when this is done in another 12 minutes....
Daz.
It’s great to be back!
I never would have thought of making cheese sauce in a vitamix! Thanks, looks delicious!! Now I want a vitamix!
Thanks for watching!
I’m so happy you’re feeling better.

Thanks Granny!
Now this looks just amazing. I am glad you are feeling better.
G'day again.
OK that took a bit longer to watch as I had to pause you and go heat up some food. I am so weak. 🤣
Good stuff LeAnne.
You look after yourself,

Thanks Daz! I find I have a talent for making people hungry… hopefully it’s a gift!

O'Brian hashbrowns has onions and bell peppers. Yum!
The rubber spatula is one of my favorite inventions for the kitchen. ☺️
I make my own sloppy joe mixture but the cheese sauce in the vitamin is a game changer. Thanks for sharing. Blessings
I make that cheese sauce so much I have the recipe memorized…lol
I found myself tapping along to the music, lol. This looks fantastic!!! I am hungry...watching this...I want some, lol.

Thank you! I will work on eating more fermented foods. God Bless you!
I feel for you, antibiotics really take a toll on my system too. This recipe looks so good! Thanks for sharing! Many Blessings, and stay healthy! 😊

Absolutely!

Looks good, kind of a spin on Shepherds Pie. Glad your feeling better.
Thanks!
We use our vitamix almost everyday! I'm glad to see another video! This looks like something our boys would love. We will need to try it!
I don't know why, I'm just now seeing this comment. We had it for supper last night!
Catching up on some of the videos I've missed tonight and I'm impressed with that cheese sauce. I've never done that in my Vitamix before, have to try that now. Sorry you were so ill in October, that's no fun. Stay healthy now!
Yes, it’s so easy to make a roux in the Vitamix! I never wanna be that sick again!
Good evening 👋, new here. Enjoyed your video very much. And enjoyed your recipe as well. Looks delicious ! 😁😋👍❤️✋
Thanks for watching!

Thanks Diana! It’s not that hard to make a sauce, it’s just time! Thanks for watching!
This sounds really good!
Love your channel thanks for sharing this beautiful video
Thank you!
The pitcher you're using on the vitamix is for dry goods. Looks delicious.
I must have grabbed the wrong one out of the cabinet. Oops! Thank you!
Thank you!
Looks delicious 💕
Yay! You are back!! I missed you so much!!
Aww! I’m glad to be back… thanks for caring!
I love your videos thank you for putting them out
Thank you!
The casserole looks wonderful! I’m going to make soon. My husband loves sloppy joes! I also really like your slow cooker, do you mind telling me where you got it? I have to get a new canner so I can can your sloppy Joe sauce. Thank you so much and I’m glad you are doing better.
I got it at Target. Thank you!
What is the sound in the background? I hear it in some of your videos. I really enjoy your videos! I’m a farm woman too!
I’m sure they were making hay in the background. I’m on the back end of an alfalfa field.
Yum!
Glad to see you are feeling better.
I think almost everything tastes better the next day too.
I'm definitely going to be making that cheese sauce soon.
Do you find the 9x13 slow cooker good for most dishes? I've thought about getting one and wonder how that compares to the standard type.
I use this half the time compared to the 6 quart I have. I might have four slow cookers…lol
Did I overlook the recipe for the sloppy joe starter mix? I'd love to can some
I do have a video of me canning it on my channel.

That looks so good! How did you know to put the cheese sauce in the blender? Great idea!
It’s a recipe that comes in a cook book with the blender but I have learned since then it’s better if I let it run another two minutes.
So glad you're feeling better! Missed seeing your sweet face!
Thank You!
Hi Kiddo 🥰😍 I just subbed ! I Think I'll try it . Thank You ❤️
Thank you so very much!
Hi LeAnne, new viewer here, question for you. How you made your cheese sauce blew my mind! Could I use a Blender?
Do you mean a blender that’s not high speed? You might be able to but it would take way longer and wear it out. If you don’t have a blender like mine, it’s best to do it on the stove and keep stirring.
Can i use a regular blender for the cheese sauce if i dont have a vitamix?
I believe just using a sauce pan on the stove would work just fine.
Braggs Apple Cider vinegar is awesome.
I eat low carb so instead of a layer of cheesy potatoes, I'd use a layer of cheesy cauliflower.
Yum!
Then I'd sprinkle shredded cheese on top for the last hour in the crockpot.😊🍳

You sound so out of breath! Hope you feel better! Ryan Taylor and Flav City with Bobby offer food suggestions to clear congestion.
