That being said it might be worth dealing him for Myles Turner a proven big man who brings physicality and rim protection . I feel JK has probably hit his ceiling as a player . Trading him would possibly open up the diversity of this team

I like Lindy. The Moody stans are probably going to come out of the woodworks but the more I watch Moody, the more I see him struggle with quick processing on both ends of the floor. Slow rotations and slow decisions on where to swing the ball. Lindy, make quick decisions and gives you pretty much everything Moody does.
That is not a reason. He will sign a contract if they want to keep him. He is a good and getting better as a player. The team is doing well. Turner gets injured a lot. I would not be surprised if soon he gets hurt again. I certainly don’t wish it on him, but that has been his history. They do need a big though, but not by trading Kuminga.

Indy has fewer bigs than the Warriors. They have no depth behind Turner and literally just signed a random dude to be the backup. They lost both backups to Achilles tears. It would be very unlikely they trade him. Also, that trade wouldn’t work since they are hard capped and it would put them over the 2nd apron. This trade is not going to happen, at least not this season. Turner is too valuable to Indiana, they won't give him up easy. This means Warrior would have to shake up their roster to trade for him. Warriors relies a lot on their team chemistry and basketball IQ. They're sitting on the top of the west (as of 11/22/24), doing anything as drastic as this just doesn't make sense. I agree, Turner would be a good fit for the Warriors. I actually was wishing a trade would happen between the two teams since his sophmore year. But the window has passed. Trading for him now, basically means GSW are building for next season when Steph and Draymond are going to be a year older. Plus who are the Dubs going to give up? Losing either on of them would greatly diminish our depth - Looney + Kuminga ($15M): Now, this one both teams could entertain. But then the Dubs have to throw in either Pods or Moody to match the contract. Again, depth! Bottomline: The Dubs are getting great value on their contracts up and down the roster, that's why they can be so deep. So to trade for Turner, Dubs will have to give up depth. No one on the Pacers on a minimum contract would be of interest to the Warriors. This means Pacers may have to give up draft picks. But why would they when they think they're trading away one of their center pieces. And the Dubs are actually competing for a chip this year, draft picks aren't going to help them with that.

TJD can create off the dribble in the post, but Kerr doesn’t ask him to do that. He is very disciplined on only doing what Kerr asks him.
