I used to be a commercial cleaner years ago (in Australia) and a few cheap products work really well for grease, stains and marks.
For grease and grime on walls and cupboards, use sugar soap.
For greasy buildup, use cloudy ammonia. I still use this to clean my oven.
Eucalyptus oil to remove stubborn marks.
For countertop stains, sprinkle with bicarb soda and cover with a damp cloth. Leave for 30 minutes then rinse.
    Prewash spray removes sticky labels.
Hairspray removes pen ink and crayon from walls.
Nail polish remover removes melted plastic from a hard surface.
WD 40 removes permanent marker ink.

I would out of my sink if I had cleaned it or my husband. If our kids cleaned it then no way. My grandmother always told me the kitchen isn't clean if you have a dirty sink. That has stuck with me all my life. She also always reminded us that clean underwear doesn't make a clean tail. I truly miss my grandmother and her southern words of wisdom. 🥰

I scrub out and dry my sink every time I wash dishes. It always looks shiny. I lay my veggies and fruit in it when I prep them. Give them a final rinse and set them in the dish drainer (that is in one side of my sink) until I am ready to use them. I have very very little prep space in my kitchen so every inch is utilized.

hi melissa, this has been one of my favourite youtube cleaning videos. as a cat owner of three, i wouldn't probably eat it because they might be jumping on the surface and carrying litter and all kind of bacterias when i turn my back :) i like that you informed me about there are surface cleaners for marbles too, because im guilty of making my previous apartment counter harmed from vinegar. but i hate that i live in an ocean away country so the products/stores you mention arent available in my country. still i managed to find a similar product to this :) thank you very much!

The thick grease layer in the kitchen - I just recently dealt with that before refinishing cabinets. Hot water and Dawn didn’t work. I used Krud Kutter and a disposable scrubbing pad. Worked perfectly! You don’t want to mess up microfiber cloths during this task. Removing the grease from those would be just as much trouble. Use something disposable for this task.

I’m new to your channel. Does vinegar harm quartz natural stone? You said it could harm natural stone countertops, but I’m not certain you meant granite or all stone? We purchased new quartz countertops because the surface is actually harder and more durable than granite. It does not require sealing throughout the years and is even more heat and scratch resistant. We’ve only had them a year or so. I’ve not used straight vinegar on them. I use a multiple purpose cleaner from Walmart that has vinegar in it. I’d love a response from you because I don’t want to ruin my natural quartz but I love knowing vinegar is a natural disinfectant. I’ve tried other Method natural stone and granite cleaners but they do not look as nice afterward. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your work!!!

Not sure this will help but... I HAD a problem with soap scum on my plastic shower walls. I sprayed them down with vinegar and then cleaned them with Bar Keepers Friend Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner. I used a dish scrubbing wand to apply and scrub the cleaner onto the walls so I didn't have to touch it. With very little effort I have the old shiny walls again. Some areas needed another application but you can hear where that is needed bc it will make a scratchy sound when you are scrubbing. I actually cleaned the walls when I showered and let the conditioner sit in my hair. No harmful cleaners, just lemon. I had to get it off Amazon bc none of the stores around here carry that brand. I started with another brand and it did not work at all.

For the gross kitchen greasy dusty mess... Lysol clean and fresh multi-surface cleaner is my fix. Spray and let it sit. Reapply and wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. Works AMAZING!

Melissa, an add for cleaning tablets has come up on my Facebook that has a short video of you which suggests that you endorse the product. I have taken two screenshots but can’t work out how to send them to you. The product is called Fayegey.

My sister threw cookies in the bin because she slightly burnt them. Got home from work & pulled each cookie out making sure it wasn't contaminated & ate the bunch 😋 I'm a true cookie monster!
