If you look at it now, it's basically promotional material, their more modern songs, and some "legacy" stuff at the bottom (mostly Communications, which they explain in the descriptions + that one shitpost with like 7 million views that I never knew was GHOST for the longest time). They've talked about missing the time when they could get an idea and pop out a quick and dirty song in a day before. To me that says they view a lot of their older (unlisted) songs as lesser / not good enough (due to not putting more time into them). I assume they want to be known for the stuff they put out now rather than the stuff they see as bad from 12 years ago or whatever. I still think deleting the content is kind of sad. There are alternatives to that. But it is what it is I suppose. I know for awhile they didn't want to interact with "the community" anymore beyond just posting the stuff so I'm sure part of why they didn't do something like use a 2nd channel (which they already had) is because of that.
