    The presets in Analog Lab V are great sounding. Love the synth! I use it a lot for Cinematic and EDM music. Its presets can get you started with a particular music idea.

    Does V Collection 9 work fully in Analog Lab 4? I can't get Analog V to work on my system either in standalone or within my DAW (missing ((or unreadable?)) GUI components)? Would really like to buy Collection 9 but I now have doubts it'll work.

    Hello Zane, here is a question (and an idea for your next video maybe) about how an amateur musician can balance time with a paying job with 9-5 hours and learning the arts of music production and just everything. I am struggling with time management and wondered what your thoughts are on this subject ? if i allocate an hour or two a day to learning daws and music I'm invariably tired from my fashion work and I do work from home so perhaps allocating a whole day a week to music would be better but then it would be sparse so I'm just not sure. My heart is in music but that doesn't bring in the money but music is my passion and I often get drawn away from my main work but need to find a new time management regime. I don't expect an answer here but it's a question that's been plaguing me for a while as to allocating time to learning the arts of music 🎵

      Keep it simple. There is SO much available, but most of the music we all know and love was made with just 1 or 2 synths, and find a DAW that makes sense the first time you open it, and stay with it.
      It's not about the gear. It's the composer.

      That’s a tough question to answer definitively. I can say that the more time you spend on music, the less time you’ll need to, meaning things will go faster for you the more comfortable/familiar you get. I think a combination of an hour or 2 a day and one whole day per week would yield you pretty quick results. UA-cam for musical gear and tutorials is invaluable. Watch several videos on the products you intend to use. That helps me a great deal, and I do this for a living. I would recommend a daw like cubase because it has lots of goodies built in, so less money spent on plugins. I hope this helps and I wish you the best, have fun. 🎹♥️

    I have both Labs 4 and 5, do I need them both? if not how do I get rid of the former? I have the same question regarding the KontaKt 7 update, do I need the old player and how do I delete it from Cakewalk?

      you might want to keep kontakt 6 if you like downloading new/free libraries. Some older ones will work in 6 but not in 7!

    So you can only use presets and not design sounds from scratch (init)?

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  10 місяців тому +1

      Pretty much. There are some FX and a few little things you can adjust but it’s mostly a preset player.
      If you own the actual Arturia synth plugin for the synth that you have loaded with the preset then you have access to all the controls for that synth. So if you own Arturia’s V collection then this plugin makes it super easy to keep your synths and presets organized.

      @@AudioTechTV luckily it seems to be included in the essentials keyboard hence worth a try and makes it easier for me to pick a new keyboard as I already own Komplete :) thanks for the answer! I guess I give it a try and if I love one or two I buy them separately

    Idk, sounds kind of cheesy. Not as good as any analog synth or frankly hardware romplers I have. Omnisphere did Wow me. Id compare before buying.
