It's an amazing thing that Touken won/topped, since so many people in the west don't consider it a "real clan", especially with the Hanamaru artwork coming from the Hanamaru anime itself a la Weiss Schwarz.
I love seeing like fringe decks top at major tournaments, for me rbh the people who use the legion are the real ones. I play the legion build and comsider it like a nerfed dragonic overlord the x without the retire support.

This is why I consider Vanguard as one of the few TCGs where a Meta or a tier shouldn't be made. Any deck and any builds can top, no matter how popular a deck is or is not.
Only thing I know depending on the next set or mechanic is still possible going to hold strong then, also that boost whenever it gets released in en is going to be sold out in snap probably
I would love triggers for stride fodder, make something like draw triggers or something stride fodder..I never play draws but I'd consider it if they could be used alternatively
the situation on the final for WGP is like this : token vs overlord and in the first stride of token he stride as kogitsunemaru and put cri on top of deck and overlord doesn't guard (in that time overlord has 2 damage) and 2&3 drive check token also check cri cri (total is 4 cri) and overlord is died lol my point is hanamura is doesn't bad but it also doesn't good enough for to be meta like some comment that have a lot of appreciate to much this deck have a lot of weakness such as lock (LOL chaos) and a lot of // If I compare hanamaru like some clan I think it like gear chornicle that have less than sub card lol (if I write hard to read I'm sorry for that)
This might be an unpopular opinion..but am I the only one that dislikes the artwork? One of Vanguards most intriguing and attractive aspects as a card game is the beautiful artwork and the detail that goes into them. These...just look like they screen capped clips of an Anime. :/

DifferentFight I just wish the deck looked as good as it was. One of Vanguard's strongest aspects is how much effort is put into it's aesthetic, so I think they should value that.
