Hate breathing water, I don't care for pretending to be a fish. Had it awhile back. From vapeheads, spewing that pioson. Now' I try avoiding the fog of crackheads. Took months to recover.
Each of these stories was delightful but I enjoyed the last story of the confirmed bachelor the most. So fun. And so well read. Tony, you really have a gift.
The narrator has an excellent voice and it was very enjoyable to listen to him. I also felt that the stories were Well written and interesting. I also like very much,The dark screen as I am listening to this at bedtime. Please keep up the good work.
The last story was absolutely adorable 😅 I'm sick and have been in bed since yesterday evening and that story put a smile on my face. Anything that can do that while I'm having one of my migraines must be truly special. I adored everything about that story, even how it made me feel like a gooey lovey sap 😂
"Honeysuckle Cottage" was a pure delight! I'm so glad I wasn't listen to this whilst trying to sleep as I would keep rousing myself by laughing. Thank you!

When ever I have a task, I hate, I listen to you. It makes it go so much quicker. Sometimes, I really wish I could do like P. G Wodehouse's characters and move in to the Dorchester! Instead, I live in a rabbit warren and it must be tidy up. Cee from the little haunted cottage in ireland 💚💚💚🍀🍀🍀
That was incredible! I love these longer compilations. You are absolutely fantastic when you perform each of the characters in different but perfect accents. These stories were different, unique, charming and yes have their humorous moments. 😉❤️
Okay, so I confess that I fell asleep in the middle of the first story, and woke up when dawn hit in the middle of the last story, so now of course, I have to replay them so I can actually enjoy the stories. But geez, I just knew the final one just had to be at least inspired by P.G. Wodehouse - a favourite author from my youth when the Jeeves and Wooster television series came out. I bought every book of his I could find and then do tater them to my local library once read, so others could enjoy them as much as I did.
me too - I really wanted to get to know John Simmons better! because of the voice and have to say the humourous story. Looked up the author and he wasn't a very light hearted chap apparently though you'd never know it!
@@ClassicGhost I'd love to add it to my collection. I'm planning on printing some of these out and mounting them in my library. Any possibility of a link to a high-res version?
Great, as always! I must say I love your voice. Have you heard of Agatha Christie's "Personal Call"? It is both a ghost story and a mystery, you might like it.
You really are a marvellous storyteller , I enjoy the fact that you don’t rush sentences but speak in a relaxed natural manner. Thank you very much, I loved the first story best. 🏴☠️
This story was cursed. It took me over 6 months and about 13 tries to be able to listen to it without being interrupted by my family!! Still not convinced I didn't miss anything
Great narration as always, Tony! I absolutely love Middleton’s The Ghost Ship and I listen to it often. Such a wonderful sense of humor for the man to be so depressed that he committed suicide 😢
An excellent selection of stories, beautifully read! Being a huge fan of P. G. Wodehouse, I especially liked the last story. I think his Mulliner stories may be my favorite after the Jeeves and Wooster ones, although the Blandings Castle stories are awfully good, too. I'm very glad to have found your videos and I'm subscribing immediately
Love your work tony!! I want to bring your attention to the were wolf by clemence Housman. I've heard it referred to as the Dracula for werewolf stories.
I do listen at bedtime on occasion. But only because I can listen again when awake. Your readings are too good to miss! Also, lovely to have some stories that are a bit light hearted. Just the ticket for when the world seems extra weary. Thanks.
I only heard about a quarter of the first story so far. I'll have start from the beginning later, but I'm currently laughing at the tricks of book shop owners to avoid sales.
Just found your channel and I'm here to stay. You've got a new fan and subscriber from Penang Island, Malaysia. Goodnight from here and thank you for aiding in my sleep. 🙏🏾
Listening to stories goes halfway and back between the states of staying awake and dreaming. And this not at the speed of light. In other words, I adore the black screen to this purpose.
Loved the ghost pirate ship story!!!! Wish there was a sequel to that story lol. Love your narrations and choice of ghost stories. Thank u for all the hard work u do for us, ghost lovers. I grew up in a haunted house. My whole family had episodes of strange experiences. Never was hurt just scared the heck out of us sometimes. Miss my childhood home. Altho still standing it has been remodeled and the yard so destroyed that it no longer resembles my childhood home from the past. So in a way both my parents and my home have passed away many years ago.❤❤😢
Oh Tony, I could listen to you tell the New York City telephone book! Absolutely fabulous! This is as far as I'm thinking, your best reading ever! Thank you Thank you!

I love it. Can you tell me anything about the author- is there a book I can get that has the story in it?
I know I have never run across the channel before but the narrators voice is so ridiculously familiar, particularly when he voiced the Landlord in the first story. I just can’t place where I might have heard it, but I feel like it might have been some sort of video game or media…. Either way, it’s brilliant and I’m going back to listening now. 2nd story: Aziraphael? Is that you?
@@ClassicGhost it just occurred to me to ask if you’ve done any work on Audible? Terry Pratchett comes to mind for completely no reason. If not, I’d like to bet that you would make an amazing piece out of any“ Discworld” novel.
I read 'The Ghost Ship' in Red Skelton's Favorite Ghost Stories years ago. I thought the ending with the ghost lads going off with the ships and the ghost girls pining for them was kind of sad.
