Not really, the fangs and overall shape doesn’t match with shimo. Although the size could be similar that is all we really have. One thing the GxK movie does do is give us a possibility that the mega Gojis may have had atomic breath like shimo had its own frost breath.
Well, considering that it evolved in the hollow earth, we can probably infer the other species evolved much like the mega-gojira species we have here. So, if this is true, then there are probably species of kaiju we have never even seen before, lurking within the depths of the hollow earth. So, there are probably "upgraded" versions of the kaiju that we have seen before, within the hollow earth.
You may not have known this but Before Ghidorah was formed, Kevin was an individual dragon who fought intensely against Doug. When they both proved evenly matched, Doug created the lineage of gojira while Kevin created the lineage of Ghidorah, including fusing his head with two other heads that were less dominant.
I’d like to point out that Godzilla has been alive since the Permian period and survived the extinction of all those periods, he is over 250 million years old and the Godzilla I’m talking about is the same one that is still alive. Godzilla can’t die of age so he is biologically immortal so Godzilla is more tougher than we thought

This would help him grow in character, and offer the audience hope that he is no longer the last of his kind. Also, if the rumored Son of Kong movie happens, maybe we could have Goji Jr and Little Kong team up against other Hollow-earth Titans (Titanus Gabara, maybe?) in a tie in comic.
Better yet, Kong finds a young Godzilla egg and it imprints on him or whatever when it hatches, leading to more character development between Godzilla and Kong
@@LordBackuro unlikely. We all assume Godzilla is male since he's always referred to by male pronouns. Godzilla has usually always been male, hence "king" in his title. Does this mean that Godzilla and Dagon both fought against Kong’s ancestors? Because the two fighting alongside each other in the Titan War would be awesome.
@MHA Hanzo actually it means that the monsters under the genus “Titanus” participated. Godzilla and the other Monsterverse kaiju, like Rodan, Mothra, Ghidorah (even though he’s an alien and didn’t participate), Kong and the MUTOs among several others are all Titans, regardless of there size. So, no size doesn’t matter, both Godzilla and Dagon were just as likely to participate in the Titan War as any other Kaiju.
I do believe if we do get more Godzilla in the monsterverse films. We will eventually see creatures like him. I remember listening to the author podcast of Godzilla dominion and GVK. Greg Keyes talk about Godzilla like creatures that may still be around. Same for kong. These guys may not be the last of their kind. I’m certain legendary is working on it now.

I honestly think that the "mega" gojis had a atomic breath as well, because how it had an axe on its head and how we saw Kong slashing through Godzilla’s skin like butter, or else I don’t see why that that Kong specie put a fucking axe on a 10x more bigger or even powerful than Godzilla right now Edit: maybe it wasn’t a Godzilla specie, since we clearly see how Kong couldn’t even slash through human-made-metal, it’s must have been a goji and a kong teaming up against it
If Kong's axe can stab through his neck gills, Godzilla bleeding out, he is done gg. But Kong still don't know how to use that battle axe against Godzilla, when he is holding his battle axe to fight.
@@cauag9575 I recall it could definitely cut through Godzilla's skin, but he just ripped it out like a champ cause for one he's at his peak strength and can likely heal up relatively quick, and I think Godzilla is familiar with the weapon and how the Kongs used it, the comic says he fought one of the Kongs in the distant past when there were more of em. Godzilla only "won" that rivalry cause his kind live much longer and he outlasted that Alpha Kong who died of old age. But I think this is the reason why he is so aggressive towards our Kong and the weapon.
These videos are AMAZIN'!! And the Mega-Gojira species reminds me of Orga! and that would be a GREAT way to introduce Orga without aliens and still keep it related to Godzilla! Or it could be a Mega-Gojira modified by Aliens! Either way, i'm excited~🖤
The way he's describing Dagon here it makes me think he could be the monsterverse version of Godzilla 2000 and the Godzilla seen in Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla and Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S. where these 3 different Godzillas had a greenish/grayish color to his skin.
8:16 but while G-Man got bigger, he also got faster thru years. In gvk he even rushed at Kong at all fours in Hong Kong fight! That especially showed how fast he got!
I don't think he is getting faster, seems like he's just getting back to his form. Think about it, for s creature that lives for millions of years and was hibernating, being woke up in the 40s means nothing. Just imagine yourself waking up to an infestation or rats in your bed so you don't have time for that morning warm up before functioning properly. It even happens with real animals, like bears, that are really weak when their wake up from hibernation. He's probably still warming up and getting rid of those millions of years of "rust" in his body.
The offshoots of Godzilla seem to have a very complex origin/vibe to them. With all of them being kinda like parts of Godzilla’s family, we can expect for them to maybe find Godzilla, and either fight him to side with him. Either way, I still love the idea of Godzilla’s family. Maybe sometime sooner in the monstereverse they can have a family reunion 😂
0:01 That skull looks very similar to the mammal-like reptile, dimetrodon, which pre-existed the dinosaurs and went extinct before the Triassic, when the first dinosaurs appeared. Two interesting facts are, they are believed to have been warm-blooded, and that they evolved into the mammals that then evolved into humans.
I think we will. I hope our boy continues to evolve and can kinda look like a combo from the new GvK movie and the Godzilla 2000 movie. More jagged skin and his dorsals look even spikier and maybe his atomic breath can evolve too. Maybe the more he charges it, it can change color and gain so much power it can change from fire to an actual beam?
I was also amazed by the fact that the G man could blast a hole into the hollow earth with a single breath. That's really incredible the amount of energy he has just amazing. I wonder how he'd square up against Mecha G if he hadn't fought Kong or constantly moving back and forth Hong Kong. He's fat but he has the stamina and endurance better than a fitter Kong LOL.
@@samwallace6708 It's also a scary thing when Godzilla's atomic breath got overwhelmed by the heat blast from Mecha G. The blast burned thru Godzilla's plated armor, he screamed in pain. Originally I would have said no, we are unlikely to see much more of anything in this universe, now I think the question is different. What rights will Toho hand over as well as what's going on with Kong. On Toho's half its simply that if we have access to more of the classic monsters that kinda gives less reason to flesh out Godzilla. IF Godzilla is it makes more sense to focus on original monsters as well as stuff that Toho would either have to lease or buy back from the US companies. From a sheer story telling POV I think we have to start with cementing the Kong, Gojira and Titan histories a littlemore than they are at present because its a dumpster fire right now.
Seeing the mega Godzilla specimen, it really reminded me of Methuselah... and I started to wonder... could they be related in some way? As we know (or as far as I know) Methuselah doesn't have any special 'powers' and is just really big, just like the mega Godzilla was described in the video... Maybe some sort of convergent evolution?
Awesome video and hopefully do get to see some evolution of the Gojira's Species, and I think the axe came from the as I quote "Mega Godzilla" the die in battle with the Kongs, my guess he got jump by more than 2 Kongs like it takes a alot of them to take that one down
I have one theory too ! As you said reptiles grow until the time they die , but i dont think Godzilla would die of age , he is immortal but he will grow until 150 meters and that might be his maximum height ! And he may grow new shape of dorsal fins along the time and maybe able to shoot red spiral rays
Hi Goji Center I love your videos and I got question for you. Is Zilla and Zilla jr part of the gojia evolutionary chain or not? If so I think they are missing links between dinosaur gojia's like Godzillasaurus and our modern Godzilla. What do you think?
Ok at 1:16 I noticed that it looks like orga could be a part of the Godzilla family which would actually be an interesting take on orga since they do look alike in terms of orga 2000 and legendary’s Godzilla
Methuselah is probably also from the same genus . An offshoot that gave rise to the mega species . Also as we found the large skull had axe stuck in it (possibly the killing blow) . That mega godzilla could be the thing that wiped out kong's species from the hollow Earth & forced them to retreat to skull island . The king (not king kong , the actual king to whom the hollow Earth throne room belonged to) & his family (possibly kong's ancestors) fought this massive titan to their last breath before dying . The axe was likely the king's weapon that he slammed into the mega godzilla's face while it chomped on them . Also a possible reason to "why it did not destroy the throne room in an instant despite having atomic breath?" would be all the members of the royal family having similar dorsal plate weapons to absorb the radiation & the fight was much fair than a plain 1v1 .
Yea there were multiple axes when kong put axe in a slot there was a godzilla around the throne the dorsal plates on that godzilla were all axes that were put into a slot like kong did
@@jamesgarter9340 both have similar hind legs , mouth(if you ignore the tusks) , the dorsal plates of methuselah turned into a huge hump to hold the giant body together. they are more similar than you think.
@@wsmstudio3329 true, but my question is why would one kong have an axe and and the rest left unarmed, then again it would come down to how experienced the Kong or kongs were.
I think some kong ancestor was bigger than current kong and that kong ancestor were a lot more stronger, smarter and more powerful so that kong ancestors beat godzilla species. It just theory mate.
No he's actually correct on that one. Godzilla Earth was more a weapons platform than the typical brawler due to his mass. Doesn't help that version also has pretty terrible feats outside of the books.
The Dorsal fin size may be the evolutionary difference. A mega is physically larger, but his dorsals compensate or atleast do not develop as fast and so the "Old Megas" didn't need it or develop atomic breath. It seems after the defeat of the mega in the Kong chamber, the Zillas changed up their strat from "be bigger than them" to "be better then them". It would explain why the mega didn't burn the entire chamber down and why the current Zilla has the ability. His species learned from their past losses and evolved a counter the the Kongs could not combat
The issue with that is the dorsal plate axe the kongs created was from a Gojira species, so they were around at the same time and would both have been hunted by kongs
@@mickeypines2557 sure, there’s nothing to suggest that both didn’t coexist. A species evolves over time, the “progenitors” don’t just die out instantly and are replaced, it’s slow and gradual. Like a mommy mega and daddy mega have a kid who has evolved into the new form, so as more and more Zillas were born, less and less Megas were and they slowly died out only leaving the Zillas behind. But it is definitely more likely then not, during the war Kongs we’re fighting megas and atomic breath Zillas at the same time, at certain points. Clearly, only one of the two (atleast until proven otherwise) species ended up surviving and I would put that down to the evolution of the atomic breath.
I think it was a combination of the Mutos and Ghidorah, along with the War with the Kings that wiped out the majority of Godzilla’s species, I have a hard time believing that just one of those factors could have resulted in the near extinction of Titanus Gojira
I would Love to see a prequel comic into that Leviathan like Gojira relative Like during the titan war this Monster initially strikes fear into the hearts of the Kong from just it's presence but then they take it head on with their agility and intelligence to bring it down Maybe have it eat a kong or two before it can continue it's streak. It would make sense ( this is also my theory) that doug might be similar to the anguirius like creature found in Godzilla's temple in KotM, it is confirmed to be Anguirus, so maybe perhaps you are correct, and the anguirus genus is a sub species of the Godzilla genus. It might be true, just take it with a pinch of salt. I hope that maybe Anguirus will be able to make a return if they ever make an origin story. Very interesting, nontheless.
I still can’t believe it, but it’s impossible. 1:42 Ohh! I was wondering if there were any more of those Big Lizards somewhere in that sequence of the scene along with those crab like beetles or whatever those overgrown creepy crawlies are.
@@Breakaway-ic5gj then they live happily ever after, the end. Imagine if they did this as a super hyped up troll film that only lasts about two minutes. 😆
I don’t think the mega variant can use atomic breath, I suspect that being part of the Gojira genus it would be able to store and utilise atomic energy in some other form, an example would be to super heat it’s claws or use its tale as an atomic explosive club.
It depends of which version we are talking about in the movie it is definitely not a Godzilla because that skull belongs to a mammal but in the novel is a godzilla but it is not mega at all.
It is my personal belief that Godzilla and his relatives are probably at least somewhat related to Crocodilians. Hear me out, my first reasoning is the aquatic nature of godzilla, he spends most of the time in water, and even comparing his tail to crocodilians especially the base of the tale you can see similar structure in the scales and mass. Godzilla's plates are also not attached to his spine as we may think, they are actually flexible like a stegosaur plate, you can see this when Ghidorah wraps his necks around godzilla in GKOTM. The plates bend at the base, but we also know they are hard and sharp. I think these plates are modified osteoderms, kind of like the armor plates found on the back and tails of modern crocs. Godzilla also has exposed teeth when he closes his mouth, so do crocodilians. His behavior also is similar to Crocodilians. Nile crocodiles for example have a system where the biggest boss croc bullies or kills rival crocodiles. In Godzilla's case he fights or kills rival kaijus. Killing the Muto threats, and Ghidorah. In a similar behavior to boss crocs. Also you may be asking that crocodiles dont walk on two legs, and you are right for the most part however prehistoric crocodilian factions have been found that do indeed walk on their hind legs. Will all of these factors taken into place, id compare Godzilla to a crocodile over any other animal. It just makes the most sense.
Maybe Godzilla’s current size and set of dorsal plates could be an indicator that Godzilla could be coming of age. In many reptiles, signs of maturity include more prominent body features like larger osteoderms or back spikes and a more bulky appearance. After aftershock, Godzilla then grew and bulked up for 5 more years until king of the monsters. This could mean that in king of the monsters, Godzilla may have hit the point in life where he would be considered a mature adult.
So after seeing the Godzilla x Kong: New Empire trailer and the way that Godzilla changed in his evolution I think that the Mega version is just an elder Gojira.
I think that Dagon was still really young, he didn’t have the time to grow like Godzilla, if he was still alive he would be much stronger and matured Godzilla
@@denistyrant that statement was based on the fact that dagons skeleton was fosilised, which needs thousands of years to happen The last time they had seen Godzilla was 50 years ago and they didn't know how long titans can live Godzillas bones don't fosilise, because he is still alive We as audience know about titans more than the humans in monsterverse For example we know that our Godzilla was around up to 300 Million years ago (all tho most of his time was spend asleep) thanks to comic book awakening, there were no humans to witness that and monarch has no chance to find that out So chances are dagon is the same age as Godzilla, or maybe 10s of millions of years younger Not likely tgat he is much older

No Methuselah is a completely different species and genus.

"If Godzilla got any bigger, he wouldn't be able to fight as effectively!"
Godzilla Earth: Am I a joke to you?

@@joshuabuddo2803 Basically how Mechagodzilla charges his attacks
Doug looks chill and cute :3

To be fair, it’s dead and wasn’t around when nuclear levels increased
I think that Dagon was still really young, he didn’t have the time to grow like Godzilla, if he was still alive he would be much stronger and matured Godzilla
Eh I don’t think he was young especially since they stated Dagon was much older
@@denistyrant that statement was based on the fact that dagons skeleton was fosilised, which needs thousands of years to happen
The last time they had seen Godzilla was 50 years ago and they didn't know how long titans can live
Godzillas bones don't fosilise, because he is still alive
We as audience know about titans more than the humans in monsterverse
For example we know that our Godzilla was around up to 300 Million years ago (all tho most of his time was spend asleep) thanks to comic book awakening, there were no humans to witness that and monarch has no chance to find that out
So chances are dagon is the same age as Godzilla, or maybe 10s of millions of years younger
Not likely tgat he is much older
@@abobanger9054 Godzilla isn’t 300 million years old, Greg stated that no one from the crew buys Godzilla himself is from the Permian. So Godzilla’s age is unknown. The more likely case is Godzilla just outlived him, which your argument just seems to support anyways
@@denistyrant It's the best candidate, because he was there at the time. And we havent seen him any era before that.
Titanus Gojria had at least 5 specimens that are relatives or offshoots:Dagon, Godzilla,Zo-Za-Halawa, Titanus Foetodon, and finally the Mega specimen. The radiation levels allowed Godzilla to become the most powerful than all of his Benevolent species.#LettheMonsterverseContinue.
The Iwi word for "Godzilla" is "Zo-zla-halawa." It’s still Godzilla
@@babyrambo That's what I said
@@Zebulon2024 no, you said they’re are “5 specimens” you said it like Zo-Za-Halawa was a different Godzilla
@@babyrambo I mention him because he was one of the specimens in the Gojria species that ate a star to attain power in Iwi mythology.
Actually the foetodons has no relation or link to the gojira species, they look almost the same but they're both part of a different genus of reptiles. TBH
I feel like the Godzilla franchise is not likely to end soon so this might not be in the franchise but it's super educational!
Godzilla is alive and well ! This creature is a Superior Species, created by Earth itself ! A Super Species ,if you will, it can not die as long as Earth is alive, and is able to generate Thermal Nuclear energy . There are many things that we don't know about, or have seen yet . Super Species are one of them ! Peace ! 🤫✌
5:43 Goji center today the group of birds no longer exists , nowadays they belong to the reptile family..
But the birds group is still there
That’s not how that works. Just because they share similar dna doesn’t mean they’re classified as the same. That’s like classifying humans as insects because the mayfly has I think 70% same type of dna as us
Birds are reptiles?
I love this possibility! As I was listening to this I was wondering could it be possible that this mega species of Godzilla is the Zo Zla Halawa that Jia and her people were referring to? Or is it the remains of a possible Spacegodzilla that Dangerville referenced?
I like how the thumbnail shows the timeline like: Doug, 2014 lol
who wants to see more of the mega gojiras
