As I'm sure you saw in the video, there's a lot of work involved with moving into the new RV (especially after having to do this just a few weeks ago in Edmonton) but it's without question for the best. We're really excited that things are getting a little easier each week and hope we can get started on building the cabin in the next few weeks! Also, random side note...just wanted to quickly say thanks for making us feel comfortable enough that we can show up every Sunday being our silly selves, we're starting to leave more in the videos we'd normally edit out. Hope that's cool with you, see you sunday xo
Happy Sunday fellas! I for one enjoy watching and I'm glad you leave the "silly self" stuff in the video...it lets people see more of your personalities. You can stop by anytime for a glass of wine on my 44' porch...LOL! You guys are amazing just the way you are and so are your video's don't let people comments change your content or length. Just keep being awesome! Be safe, be well! Shalom
Our Sunday doesn't get started until after we watch your video together. We lounge around sipping coffee and relaxing. Thanks for being yourselves and sharing your life adventures with us!
I wish I could watch these with you right next to me so I can pause constantly with all my dumb questions. For example: Why couldn’t you just have done Jackery with the other one? Unless you just wanted the bigger space and newer stuff, which I understand. Also, why not move the couch from the other one and put it where you want to build a daybed? It looks like it would fit and turns into a bed. Tyler’s beard looks great. Todd is the male version of my sister’s wife! She gets distracted from one project to the next easily. Lastly, it was definitely Jesus and who ate it?
Yes it is a sea turtle 🐢 with Jesus standing behind 🤣😂 it .but by the way Todd I got a hair cut and true story I looked and said if I were six feet , white and a man I'd look like Todd in stead of 4ft11" black and a woman she gave me your cut while I dozed in the chair 💺 wayWayway down south in the bayou
I have lots of respect for both of you with your willingness to recognize issues, and your readiness to deal with these in a healthy way. You both understand that a healthy relationship does take some work, and I admire you as a couple for your willingness to do the "work" that keeps your relationship healthy. Thank you for continuing to share your unique journey with us.
I'm so happy that you are showing the difficulty of living off the grid because this is exactly how my people, the "Navajo tribe" lives so many centuries and today. And the difficulty of the pandemic had an impact on many reservations and tribes of getting water, electricity, and simple things like the internet. Love u guys
"It's eleven years of getting over!" 😂 The two of you... just sooo cute. 😍 And imagine having parents (in law) showing up at the exact right moment for really helping you out. 🤷🏽♂️😉👌
Guys.... believe in that magic called "I will always believe in your best intentions; because I believe you really do love me." When little and big details want to make it seem like it's all falling apart...you guys have the magic. :) You guys are living my dream...Hugs!
For a moment I thought they're moving an aunt to the land to help them with the construction but then remembered oh, it's not aunt Connie, it's Connie the RV 😂
The two of you have grown and expanded your visions soooooo much it’s amazing! Just go back and watch the end of the Hawaii VLOG and Todd’s moment of clarity.
I first saw a cats bum then a sea turtle in the chip. 🤣 Dad's are great at coming to the rescue! We had a good laugh when Tyler stepped right in the same spot after Todd did in the snow. Happy you guys got all moved in!
I LOVE SUNDAYS!!! You, Van Wives, Eamon & Bec... 🇨🇦❤️🌞 I also love all that you share of yourselves! I laugh and cry with you through your ups and downs. Thank you for sharing your beautiful selves in moments of joy and frustration. May you both sleep well in your new home! 😴😴😴❤️
I am so glad you decided to get into a place you can sleep! Lack of sleep is a real issue for mental and physical health. I think you are both amazingly patient with each other. I know you probably don't yell at each other on camera, but that was such a lot of work getting Connie in place and moving stuff over, I see no evidence of a complete melt-down. That is true love! Sleep well and warm, and then have a couple extra movie nights!
03:48 - started bawling (Todd was about to), your struggle really hit me and I could see in Todd's eyes he actually looked scared or maybe just fed up. I don't know I've been watching EVERY post and have never seen that look in Todd's eyes before. The love you have for each other is so strong and you're there to support each other. YES - nice progress on the beard too Tyler :) Hottest ginger! .... I saw a sea turtle too, not Jesus. haha...."it's 11 years of getting over it," He loves you so much Tyler 😘💕💕💕💕
Hey boys! Hello from Cleveland OH! Isn't it amazing how easily amused we become? I think the Covid Captivity taught a lot of us how simple pleasures (like a sunny day, fresh air, the aroma of bread baking, a bunch of tulips) can give us such a lift and really make our whole day better. Being without (for any number of reasons) really helps me be present in the moment, humble and grateful.
You guys should have your own tv show. I love watching yaw. You guys are so funny and also serious at times but real. Real is the best!!! Two of the hardest working people ever! I can't wait til the cabin is up. So excited
Bingo ! You will appreciate the finished cabin to the fullest, just knowing it was all you two. Connie is needed to keep the positivity flowing thru the veins. I am so proud of you guys, rolling with the punches, stepping back and re-evaluate, but stepping back forward again.
Sometimes we need to be deprived of important things we take for granted. It's only then that we are really thankful. I want you two to take care of yourselves so you can keep going. As time goes by we look forward more and more to seeing you, laughing with you, your ups and downs - all of it. You've got to recharge - just like you do to that Jackery. Take care and yes, we love you just the way you are.
I found you on Eamon & Bec's podcast and I just finished binge watching ALL of your videos in chronological order. ❤️ Eamon & Bec have been my favorite vlog for over 3 years. Now I have TWO fabulous shows to watch every Sunday. Thank you for sharing your life with us and inspiring us! I'm 49, have 3 kids, and don't think I'll ever do full time van life but I do feel attracted to minimal living and I intend to travel and see more of the world. I'm so grateful to you and other vloggers for showing me new places. Also I enjoy your awesome videography, loving interactions, and silliness. You're bringing cheer to a lot of us (I've read the comments) in these tough times. Thank you. (from Virginia, USA)
Boy, thank goodness for Mom and Dad showing up. Haha. You guys are so fortunate for all the support you get. I agree 1000%, if it existed, that having a 'Home" to come back to , that you're happy and comfortable with, will be nice after a hard days work. You may think your scattered, but I think you guys think pretty clearly. Having the foundation laid in your lives, before you lay the foundation to your new home is one of the smartest things you can do right now. Look forward to the next weekend, it's always interesting to see the changes in all aspects of your lives that you show us. Thanks,
Just a helpful hint: Paint has a difficult time adhering to a polished surface. Use some 120 sandpaper and rough the surface up really good , wipe down and then paint over it. It won't peel away like that :)
Can you get block-aid paint out there, it’s an undercoat that literally covers everything, stained, varnished wood, laminate, melamine, plastic what ever and then you can gloss paint over it ! Awesome stuff! Xx
🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢 lol , poor Tyler... do you ever get to finish a sentence? You two are the hardest working guys I know!!! You have learned so much, about yourselves and about the different tasks and projects you take on. There is nothing you can't do !!!! Lots of hugs, God bless and keep safe and take care! Love to the puppers! 👏👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙃🤗🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀❤❤❤❤❤❤ your vedios are great , very well done I, l look forward to your videos every week!
I’m very subdued when I watch tv, but when I view your videos, I find myself laughing out loud-literally-and I love that! Thanks for making that happen.
My belief: life is messy, if you're doing it right! following dreams, taking risks etc has unexpected, sometimes, unwanted results. Making different choices is perfectly great! I'm on team Sea Turtle
I so look forward to your videos. My Sunday would not be complete with out it. Sometimes I think you overwork yourselves but that is just your way. I love you both so don't change anything. You two guys are the only ones on Uribe that show this kind of affection for each other. And we need that. Love you both. (boys too). 🤗😘
When you were organizing the new RV toward the end of the video where everything was speeded up, Charlie and Eddie had the exact right idea -- staying out of the way and lounging on the couch. They're definitely my spirit animals in that regard.
Gee tell me about sleep. We had our grandchildren last weekend for 2 nights, one is 2 the other 6 months, it has taken us all week to get over it 😂😂😂. Love watching you wonderful boys. Have a great week. 🥰🥰🥰
“The dogs really need to get acclimated to the new RV” Dogs: “Oh, what a lovely new place to nap.” Charlie and Eddie don’t seem easily phased as long as they’re with their daddies. ❤️❤️❤️
Family to the rescue yet again. A while ago Aunt Claudia patiently but directly explained, "Well for starters, you have it on button mode." This time the dad shows up to make it happen. Let alone the shopping the mom did during the second quarantine in a year slightly +. Smart move with swapping out. It's also okay to say something was great in its time but not for where we are now.
Greetings from Ontario to the two Physicists!! LOL! Another hilarious episode - thanks for keeping the laughs rolling. You guys have the best zen together - makes me smile. So, some personal highlights for me were: "we're not having infants right now... we've been safe!" Bahaaaaa! Only second to "little prong"! He he he! And I'm going to split my vote: It;s a Holy Sea Turtle! Love the bigger R/V - way better space. I would have had to go outside to change my mind in the other one. Anxiously awaiting for the 'Cabin Tales' to begin. Have a grand week boys - see ya next Sunday!! ;-)
Sigh, another vlog done for another week! You are the highlight of our week, Rick starts checking after lunch until you on and then I hear, "Barb, the boys are on!". That means drop everything and settle in! As usual, you guys are great, we love your easy back and forth, its evident how much you love and care for each other! By the way, the chip is definitely a flying squirrel!! But if you see something else, fill your boots!! Have a great week, hugs and kisses to the boys can they get any more precious!? See you Sunday day!
Am just watching this now. I had to skip a few weeks cause I binge watched you all winter (just found you guys recently) and I need to have a few episodes to watch back to back 😊 Nonetheless...regarding the heating situation. I can relate on some level. I have been using a wood stove for about 10 years now in my home. I use it all winter long day and night. It saves me a lot of money on oil etc. I try to cut my own trees down and split myself etc etc. Every fall I get excited to get the stove going. But by February I get burned out, no pun intended. It becomes a real chore keeping that fire going. And then the spring comes and I have to head out and hunt for wood. Luckily I have had enough trees on my property. And I do enjoy the physicality of it. But it def is work. And I’m not filling mine every 2 hours. So, I can only imagine the exhaustion you have keeping that thing going. My question is...and I know you’re on to the cabin and/or other larger rv soon so maybe you won’t be dealing with this much longer. But if you had to, could you put another small stove in or is there just not enough room? Could you upgrade to something slightly bigger that would burn longer? I don’t remember when you installed it whether it was the max you could use for that rv. Anyway...poor things. Get some sleep this spring when you can go longer than 2 hours! 😉😴🥱
You two are so cute! Sea turtle! Sorry Tyler🥴. Your health and well being is what’s most important! Wise choice to move into the new RV! The thing I love the most about your videos is your willingness to share your true selves with us! We all have good days, bad days, silly days and fun days, it’s what keeps life interesting and helps us to connect and grow! Keep the honest and open videos coming! Love and hugs!❤️🌈🧡. P.S. Eddies doggy dreaming was adorable!
I stinking love you guys. Favorite parts... besides all of it are the falling thru snow them Tyler does too, and your cute ways of looking at each other and the voices!!! I cannot get enough of you
Wishing you guys all the best .its always agreat Sunday being able to visit with you. Making the move was the best thing to do.an letting the other one go to a friend that will enjoy having it for his needs an to be able to shower an the furnace an the bed warmer .you will get the rest you both need.you guys have not stopped since moving out their since July.then winter came.get the camper ready for the cold days an nights. Then going back home to pack all your belongings to get that part of your life taken care of to make it easy on you both.spring will come an then the journey begins. Would it be possible to show us the drawings an lay out of your cabin using the projector. That would be so cool. Guys this is your dream home so make things easy for both of you.an don't for get to build a hottube little house to open during the summer an close for the winter with heat .fireplace or what works best. .but just getting your water well done 1st will be great an they make a full house filter system i have one an its awesome it also has a blue laser light that kills any thing in the water .there are so many things out there now. Just so happy for you both. An you make agreat team.stronger togather.as you both say all the time .the boys settled right in .why because they had you both with them.have agreat week going for my 2 shot hope you guys can get yours soon.much kindness and happiness always joe/Louisiana 👬😍❤🌈🐕🐕
While waiting for your today's video listened to your podcast episode with Eamon & Bec really loved it! Made me take some notes!!! Really appreciate your videos guys!!
I can understand your decision well. When I was a child, my grandfather and grandmother witg my father and mother decided to build a cabin on a beautiful private island on a lake in the woods of northern Minnesota. All four were doctors with high pressure jobs and they wanted a serene get-away, so they decided to try to live off-grid. Wisely, my grandmother insisted from the offset on digging a good deep well, but as we had no electricity, we had to operate the water pump by hand. For me this seemed like fun, but to get enough water for baths, toilet, and laundry was quite a lot of work for the adults. Heat was no problem as the cabin had a great big stone fireplace - again thanks to my grandmother's insistence and design. Cooking was done on propane, so that was okn. But the issue, especially for my grandfathern, was the lack of electricity, especially at night. We used Coleman lanterns, which again I remember as "fun." The problem was that during the first two years there were several incidents which could have proven dangerous, especially as our main transportation off the island was by boat. So my grandfather decided we needed to compromise our off-grid aspirations to build a diesel-powered generator powerplant. (This was in the days before solar power was an option.) This decision was the one that made the project truly viable, until 20 years later we had the option to connect into the newly-established rural power grid.
My husband and I tried living in an older camper for 4 months.. it was the bathroom for us that was the deal breaker. It's awesome that you guys show the not so glamorous parts about off-grid. We lived in Florida in our camper I can't imagine doing a Canadian winter.
I had a feeling y'all would move into Connie. Smart decision. Home is where the heart is. And it's so pretty, it looks more roomy. Tyler you look great with that beard. It'll keep your face warm. I hope y'all get some much-needed rest and sleep.. And I do think it looked like a turtle. Sorry Tyler. Y'all take care see you in the next video. oh and Todd would look great with a beard as well. Either way y'all are both handsome.
I so appreciate you admitting how you’re revising and rethinking things instead of pretending. It’s such good role modeling of how to problem solve life. Love your honesty.
First off ... Turtle. (My Vote) Todd had a lot of balls bringing up the tile after you guys got Connie settled. (Twice even) You two hang in there, get some REM sleep now and start enjoying "things" more. Hugz~
Only thing is that I can see is the character in the Monty python movie the life of Brian who explodes from eating too much or the Girl from the movie Charlie and the chocolate factory who blows up from chewing chewing gum
Something you might try for consistent heat is a radiant heater that runs on propane. No electric required. After years of losing power and heat in the winter I recently installed a 30,000 BTU unit in my basement. Two days later, no power, but I had heat. It was wonderful. Less than $250 for heater and all extra's. You can run it off the tanks for your stove. Good Luck.
Holy Chip, Batman! (That’s not Jesus, sorry man.) And yeah, Charlie and Eddie look SO stressed about moving, laying there on ur couch, poor guys. lolol 😆
Oh my god you guys, I was looking at the boys while you were organising Connie and they were so funny! Looking up, seeming to sigh, watching you bustle through the space and thinking "oh well, we've seen it before, the dads are on a roll again. Groan" I can't WAIT for you to start work on the cabin. Your videos are a weekly highlight ❤💋❤💋❤
It’s funny that everyone’s ancestors had to do these things and make everything from nothing. And still survived. I still wake up every 3 hours to put firewood in because I refuse to use coal. You need a larger stove for sure.
Hey T&T, I just wanna tell you guys that I love you! You guys are so awesome together, just hang in there everything will work out! Your land is so beautiful have a great week! 😀❤
Tyler and Todd, maybe you could install large propane tanks intended for a cabin. It could be used for heating and cooking for the trailer, and you can transfer it's use for your future cabin. Then, you could limit your need for the wood burning fire place.
Sea turtle..100%. Have you guys considered installing a pellet fireplace? I was just visiting my sister in Colorado and they heat their entire house with one. You dump pellets into the top and the auger automatically drops a pellet or two into the burn box every so often depending on how high or low it’s set. It runs all night long with no intervention. I’ve never seen one before and was blown away how easy it is to use. It burns so efficiently there is very little ash and almost no smoke out the vent pipe. 😀
Something that I noted on I think Bussy McBusface's channel is that when they get low on water, they have a bladder that is in the back of their towed. They take the towed to get the bladder filled and it's a heck of a lot easier than jerry cans. Maybe this would be a good idea until you get the well plumbed and workin?
I, too, enjoy Sundays a lot more now that I'm watching you two, living & loving your lives, up there in Nova Scotia. And I see a turtle. And love Tyler's beard! Thank you for letting me feel like I'm part of your family!
As I'm sure you saw in the video, there's a lot of work involved with moving into the new RV (especially after having to do this just a few weeks ago in Edmonton) but it's without question for the best. Totally agree
Just a shout out to Todd's mom & dad for being so supportive of their son and his husband.
Sundays are soooo much better with Tyler&Todd💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Oh, yes! ☺️
Oh yes keep safe xx
I just have to say... your videography, music and storytelling are always perfection. The best channel on YT!
Thank you SO much, truly means so much!
They do put A LOT of effort into their editing, they're such perfectionists 👏👏
Ditto! 😎
100% agree - they are a work of art
3/7/2024 loving these old vlogs, you two have grown so much. I miss my Dad, he always stepped up and made things work right.

Table talks with Tyler an Todd should be the title of your podcast. Or The T-QUAD POD. Love the vids guys keep it up 😊
“The dogs really need to get acclimated to the new RV”
Dogs: “Oh, what a lovely new place to nap.”
Charlie and Eddie don’t seem easily phased as long as they’re with their daddies. ❤️❤️❤️
Todd...seriously...you are my spirit animal. Just became a Patreon! And yes...that's a TURTLE. lol
Love you Tyler and Todd, you make my day brighter. Now going to watch the vlog, from Vancouver BC, Canada.♥️🤗🌞❣️💜😉🥰👍😊
Sea turtle-definitely. Or Jesus in one of those flying suits!
Have a grand week boys - see ya next Sunday!! ;-)
🙌 thank you so much for this video. I’ve been waiting for it all day long. Lots of love
Sea Turtle, unless Jesus has gained weight and looks like Eric Cartmen.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
it's quarantine folx ;)
No Sir.
Am just watching this now. I had to skip a few weeks cause I binge watched you all winter (just found you guys recently) and I need to have a few episodes to watch back to back 😊
Nonetheless...regarding the heating situation.
Tyler: I’m not happy with it.
Todd: It’s 11 years of getting over it!
Me: OMG - so true & so cute.
Poor Tyler! Guess he never imagined Todd was short for “Toddler!” Big loveable goof!!
Ha ha.
That is definitely a sea turtle! Keep being you guys because it’s amazing! I love watching! Be good, be careful and stay safe! 🤗🤗

While waiting for your today's video listened to your podcast episode with Eamon & Bec really loved it! Made me take some notes!!! Really appreciate your videos guys!!
aw love that!!! We had so much fun doing it, can't wait to launch our own podcast soon!
I think your chip looks like a flying squirrel 😂
SEA TURTLE! Love the 2 freeloaders that are always on the couch or bed LOL They are adorable!!!
LOL, they're working can't you tell they're highly trained security dogs! 🤣
I’m guessing that since Todd looked at Tyler like he is dessert when talking about the beard, that the beard is here to stay!
It’s a turtle!
First glimpse I would say, Sea Turtle, although I can totally see JC reaching out to embrace all manner of Beings.
Yeah, such a long vlog!
Hahaha the content literally nobody asked for 😂
I so appreciate you admitting how you’re revising and rethinking things instead of pretending.
Hugz~
The chip is a sea 🐢. I love Connie love the space.
Oh, it's definitely a sea turtle! Lol Try as I might, I could not see Jesus.
Only thing is that I can see is the character in the Monty python movie the life of Brian who explodes from eating too much or the Girl from the movie Charlie and the chocolate factory who blows up from chewing chewing gum
Sabina Dougherty I could see those too!
sea turtle - sorry
so glad you are more comfortable and doing well! thank goodness for family members who can back trailers!!!
I like the beard , i had always wondered how you managed to keep just enough growth on it .
Just a trimmer with a guard on it!
(That’s not Jesus, sorry man.)
And yeah, Charlie and Eddie look SO stressed about moving, laying there on ur couch, poor guys. lolol 😆
Off grid reality is so different from off grid vision... good luck boys... you are going to be just fine!
One man's Jesus is another mans sea turtle.
😅😂
Oh my god you guys, I was looking at the boys while you were organising Connie and they were so funny! Looking up, seeming to sigh, watching you bustle through the space and thinking "oh well, we've seen it before, the dads are on a roll again. Groan" I can't WAIT for you to start work on the cabin. Your videos are a weekly highlight ❤💋❤💋❤
It’s funny that everyone’s ancestors had to do these things and make everything from nothing. And still survived. I still wake up every 3 hours to put firewood in because I refuse to use coal. You need a larger stove for sure.
Thank goodness you've come to your senses. No need to deprive yourselves unnecessarily.
To me the chip looked like Jesus...if he was a sea turtle.
Love Sunday with you all. Love you all just the way you are.💛❤💜💙😊💚
Why is it that Todd can find anything you say , make it dirrrty . big prongs and little prongs .....omg it makes me chuckle out loud.
I'm exhausted sitting here watching all the things you two accomplish in one day.
I was so worried you were going to call it all quits!! Glad you've found another option that will make you happy and comfortable.
