@@juanrisa945 This show had alot of influence on other things too. The Owl House and Amphibia both exist as they do largely because of Duck Tales. Also Sonic's personality in the movies is the way it is largely because of Ben Schwartz's work on Ducktales as Dewey. Sonic is basically just Dewey with a slightly lower pitch.
The funny thing is that the composer of Duck Tales for the NES, Hiroshige Tonomura, could be somewhat construed as a video game equivalent of a one hit wonder - while he has scored a few other games, only his score to Duck Tales reached any sort of timelessness like other famous NES compositions. I wonder how he reacted to this scene here.
Not to take away from his achievement but it could possibly have been the environment at Capcom that helped. From the Megaman series to Guiles theme in Streetfighter, they created some iconic music early in the game industry much like Square soft in the mid to late 90s. Maybe being around talented musicians inspired him?
...You know, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Disney decided to create this plot in large part as a reference to that level, at least as an excuse to use that _iconic_ theme.
It's also a reference to an old comic where donald tells the kids Lena went to outer space in a rocket, but yeah, I'm pretty sure they chose the moon because of THAT
I'm didn't grow up on the original show, so I had no idea what this song was referencing, but I can't imagine the amount of 80s kids loving this kind of fan service
Oh man, the lullaby sounds AMAZING layered over the original. Completely different feel from just her singing it solo, but both are amazing in their own ways.
that was addressed on Ducktales Remastered, Scrooge went to the moon with Gyro and Fenton, and Gyro create the Oxichew with Black Licorice flavor, flavor that Scrooge didnt like
_A cartoon about anthropomorphic ducks that go on adventures with magic and mystical elements included, and the dude wants realism on it because they can breathe in space...._
@@yonatanhoresh2695 They addressed that too, in "Whatever happened to Della Duck?" she says "I've been able to survive in the *thin* lunar atmosphere..." implying that in DT17 the moon DOES have an atmosphere, albeit one without sufficient oxygen, so freezing/boiling could be mitigated by that.
During that "escape attempt", Della's voice actress sounds like she's been dreaming of singing this song her whole life.
Siempre que cantará todo el mundo
I wouldn't put it past Paget
The showrunners actually said most of the cast signed up as soon as they were contacted because they liked the idea of working on DuckTales.

I won't lie. Immediate giddy excitement and maybe a tear. Della singing the same theme to the moon mite baby later on left me in ruins. 😭
80's kid here. The reference between Della's song was to the old ducktales game. The moon level. Yeah, it has some nostalgic feels.
Mind blowing 🤯 in a good way

I like how Della just sings through the racket from the bottom scene

XD so true
True
I still can't believe they even addressed the "why no air hemets?? They're in space???" question. Turns out Oxychew can even fill plot-holes! 😅

Still wouldn't keep you from freezing and then boiling to death from the no-atmosphere part

One of the absolute best video game themes
This deserves much more views and likes! Good job.
I was fanboying so hard when I heard the music lol
Scrooge: I'VE SEARCHED THE MOON Della: NOT HARD ENOUGH (the footage of scrooge searching the moon)
Loved the game, loved the original show, hell…legit loved the remake (mostly season 1). This is wonderful
This mashup goes super perfectly well together!😄🤩😎👌
This deserves more attention

Even if you forgot the prototype one which had a full set of percussion, this comparison is great
The NES gives it the sickest bass line too
this is really good!!
Very grand! 10/10
Wait Uncle Scrooge, you need a suit up there!
How are you alive?
You need heat, also air.
Crazy duck in space
