You said it yourself, you have small businesses that you’ve purchased from that you truly love. If this isn’t about money...like you said right around 6:18...mention the small business that YOU BOUGHT from. Give them a shoutout because you love their product and YOU PAID for. Everything you do seems to be a money/gift grab without any real effort.
She and no one else is OBLIGATED to shout out a business when they payed for the item, she does not need to Pay for an Item and promote for free. Business 101. Its not personal it’s business!
I have been watching your channel since the pink room days … I use to love watching your videos , but lately they just seemed so forced and you don’t even seem happy doing them , and I agree with some of the viewers, you don’t respond to anything the content is just a bunch of Haul videos , I’m really not even sure why you even do this anymore, By the way I agree with supporting small business thing , but I don’t agree with the way your going about it . Maybe the video would of been more genuine if you would have purchased the product and actually used it yourself and not sound like your just trying to get free product.

idk if you remember me or not but i have a small business and i sent you something a couple of years ago and you said you would share what i sent you and you never did. i had just opened and what i make takes a while to complete so i spent a lot of my time on your product, and you never showed it or anything. when i asked you if you got it you said you did and i must have missed the post.... i think its cool that youre doing the small business shout out now, but wish you wouldve shared your support for small businesses years ago when they sent you free product.

You’re taking advantage of small businesses to get free things. “Things you stand behind and products you love”… becuase you want everything free and handed to you. My girl Casey Holmes who Meg worships legit had a small business shout her out because she mentioned an item she bought from them and they had a high volume of sales. Meanwhile she’s asking for a free hand out. It makes me feel bad for all those poor small business owners who would trust her to send her free stuff.
just want to say that she has a LARGE following so a product will be broadcasted to thousands of people,, which is a gift. most influencers are sent FREE product so they can ADVERTISE and make the company sales. rather than BUYING a product and then giving them FREE advertisement. even if she is sent products for free, she is still helping a small business with a thousands of viewers!
also the businesses choose if they want to be a part of this. shes not pulling anyones leg. lol
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with supporting small businesses, but begging for free stuff just doesn’t sit well with me. As a small business owner, we really don’t have much PR budget, so every product really is accounted for. Wish you could actually purchase and test it out yourself. Many you tubers have done this since last year like Alisha or Remi Ashten. They paid for it in full and gave publicity.

I think why people have been having issues is because this is suppose to be a vlog channel and it has not been a vlog channel in a long time .. if you want UA-cam to be your career you should put the effort, no one wants to sit through 20 min sponsored videos or hauls.. it’s not entertaining .. when you put a video of you talking about a sponsorship for 20 mins., a lot of UA-camrs actually put out content it’s not always a sponsorship I get you have to make money but every video has been one .. you’ll add the last 5 mins of your day .. no hate at all I love watching your videos but it has been repetitive

It’s an opinion .. i was a fan of hers for a long time I can have an opinion it’s simple to say don’t watch but does she not get paid because of views ? And we’re the viewers… we can give feedback because she is a UA-camr she gets paid because of us viewers so why not express how we feel … it’s her job to put out content that her viewers want to see .. like I said in my comment no hate I’m just expressing what a lot of us are feeling!
@@Mina-td8rk Soooo many youtubers ask their viewers what kind of content they want to see, including Meg. I don't agree with the whole "don't like it don't watch" mentality. Like you said, this is her job. And like any other job, consumer feedback is very important. I genuinely WANT to watch her videos and support her and I don't think there is anything wrong with stating your opinion. Yes, many people could be a lot nicer but constructive criticism is a good thing for growth in any type of business.

Sponsored content is what makes UA-camrs able to create content for their views. It’s part of their job and it’s how marketing works these days. Brands would rather pay influencers than spend tons of money on a tv commercial and things like that. Celebs do it all the time. You can skip over the sponsored portion if it bothers you. It’s just how marketing works these days and it’s how UA-camrs and influencers are able to do this as their career. And I actually love hauls!!! I get some really awesome ideas from them so what one person hates, someone else might love! It’s all about finding content online that aligns with your interests. Maybe megs content no longer aligns with you and that’s okay!
I think what “annoys” people about the sponsorship is that anytime you upload, it is a sponsor. If it was random videos then it’s fine if you do other videos. I love watching your videos and wish you uploaded more but when you are only posted 1 video and it has to be a sponsored video. It kinda shows you don’t care about your supporters but care about the money.
I hope you don’t take this the wrong way but see it as a different perspective.
Don’t you know sponsorship is how they make their money? She’s still sharing her life in every video what’s the big deal of a 5-10 minute segment with a sponsor? Skip over if you dislike it.
Every influencer is able to do what they do because of sponsorships. That’s how it works. It’s part of their job. Just like for magazines back when that was a thing, you get ad space in a magazine. You make money through advertising products for brands, just like tv commercials (but that’s more expensive for brands)
celebs do it all the time too. So do other influencers and vloggers and UA-camrs. Welcome to 2021. 😂 no one has free time, and also it’s not your money shes taking so idk why people get so triggered. She’s putting content out for people to watch for free, and if you don’t like the content, don’t watch

If you think Meg’s everyday sponsors are bad, there’s a UA-camr called “Eleanor Neale” who does true crime content & she only talks about the crimes if she’s getting paid. Every single video is sponsored, she does 2-3part videos for even more sponsors. She’s profiting off of ppl’s tragedy, It’s disgusting imo.

I think she is beautiful and knows how to decorate and like her videos. I just wish she gave 1 or 2 more videos a month and then a sponsor. Don’t just randomly upload a video for a sponsorship.
Coming from someone who have been watching you since you just started UA-cam, Over the last 3 or 4 years all you do is complain about every little thing. I feel as if you do not realize just how blessed you are. Becoming a mom is a huge adjustment but I feel as if you think its only hard for you and you only. We all struggle as parents and that with and without help. It seems as if you have possibly lost your passion for UA-cam and that is okay to admit it, but your channel is just not engaging and relatable anymore. I don't mean to be harsh just wanted to put it all on the table since you ask us for our opinions but never respond back or acknowledge us.

Small businesses can't always afford to give away free product like this. It's best suggested that you purchase because that will help the business. A lot of small businesses put a lot of labor in their work and purchase ingredients etc to make the products they intend to sell to profit off of.

Why do moms call DAYCARE school. I've raised 5 kids as a work at home mom. I can't imagine wasting so much on day care just cause I wanted that alone time. That was the whole reason I work at home is so I don't miss out time with my kids and not pay daycare. And a blog and UA-cam is not like a career (no offense) just don't think day care is needed
I don't get why you seem to think your way is the right way. Everyone has different patience levels, capacities to do things etc. Good for you that you didn't take your children to daycare but if others want to that's also fine!

I personally think it’s great that she has Kayden at school he definitely needs the interaction with other kids it’s very important for social skills. He doesn’t have any other siblings and Bella isn’t there all the time.
That is you and we are all different,nothing wrong with how you did it, and nothing wrong for those of us who do differently.
I agree with a lot of these comments. I have been following you meg for about 7 yrs now- i understand that life changes and you are a momma now and that always will be number one priority- however- we still enjoy seeing vlogs. Hauls and sponsors aren't entertaining in my opinion. Maybe if the drive isn't there to vlog or share your life a lot then take a break and re group and focus on what you wanna do or how you wanna proceed with your channel. I work remote and go in office 1 day out of the week I’m with ny child 24-7 & I love it although I wouldn’t mind putting in daycare a few hours a week for some social interaction lol

She's actually the first person I've heard call it school and he isn't even 2 yet. Where I'm from we do have actual preschools though for kids starting at age 3, must be potty trained and no naps.

I noticed that about Megan as well. She’s ALWAYS dealing with a mysterious illness or injury. I knew someone like her - always sick or limping or showing up with canes or crutches and once in a wheelchair! It’s really sad watching Meg spiral out of control, she only seems happy when she’s talking about “things she bought”. Who really needs the same tacky diaper bag is 7 different colors, like where is she going so much that she needs to change up the colors? I promise the store associates at Target won’t remember what color her cardigan, leggings or bag was last week.

Why do you call daycare school?
A lot of these businesses call themselves school or preschool rather than daycare or out of school care. They do it where I live too. Part time day care, pre school, whatever they call it, it's all the same thing basically. Some may have more structured programming that teaches things like vocabulary or numbers or colors and stuff. So they call themselves a school

Love to share how spiritually I was being prepared for a good year for the sudden passing of my Dad. I was grieving (not understanding why) prior to his death which I felt made me stronger to get through it and help my Mom. Since then, my Mom has passed and my brother. My Mom and I always loved cardinals....such a beautiful bird. Also, love seeing Kaden so interested in his cars. It's a wonderful thing to watch your kids finding interest in things. You shouldn’t stop gluten if you don’t have an allergy or intolerance to gluten as your body needs it. Intolerance and allergy are two different things. Why don’t you wait and see what the bloods come as. You should support small business by paying for your things. That’s support. Shouldn’t his car seat be behind the drivers seat so you can reach him rather then the person that’s driving as it’s not really safe?
Your absolutely incorrect. Gluten is a major source of inflammation for most people. There are many reasons the majority of people would be better off without it. We don’t need gluten, it’s all processed not something we are benefiting from. Not sure where your getting this from.
How can you define “support” paying for your stuff only! There’s many ways to support businesses. At least she’s trying to help them by sharing and putting them to the view of thousands of possible customers. Any way possible helps. Also before mentioning the car seat you don’t think she’s the driver most of the time she uses her car? that’s why she have the car seat there? Also gluten provides no essential nutrients!! I eat gluten free now due to being diagnosed with hashimoto’s disease postpartum. I do miss a lot of foods but it’s not even worth touching them anymore! It’s a night and day difference! 🙌🏼
I just recently found out I have hashis too! Cutting out gluten and dairy has been so much better on my body !

@@Ashley91. it’s a thyroid disease. For me, it was very underactive causing unpleasant symptoms that made day-to-day difficult. I went from being an energetic person to someone who could barely make it to 3pm
Going gluten free isn’t a fad.. there are people out there struggling with celiac disease and have no other option but to go gluten free to be a functional human being. Make sure you have a diagnosis before you start going gluten free.

I saw it too! I don't know how long the dog's leg has been an injury, but they need to get it check up asap to the vet or things turn into infected or worst,
I have had all the same problems as you since I was like ten I was diagnosed with celiac disease (autoimmune) and it helped so much it’s not perfect but I am on a strict gluten free diet for life
Not a specific brand, but any “brown rice pasta” I have really enjoyed to try to be more gluten free

Cause that’s probably what she says to her son. “You ready for school?” Not daycare lol kids in the future will relate better when the start kindergarten of you keep it school throughout daycare, it will make it easier on them
It’s actually better to tell them that they are going to school to prepare them for when they actually go!
I worked at a daycare a while back and they (owners, management) called it "school" because even down to the infants there were "lesson plans." They are still learning, just in an age appropriate way. But I know what you mean and I call it either one 🤷♀️
It is school. And it’s not daycare, it’s child care. He’s going to school where the teachers have to do lesson plans and teach the children lessons and have themes weekly or monthly. School is where you go to learn and if he’s learning then he’s at school.
He'll be 2 in January. Children learn at the fastest rate of their entire life btwn birth and 5 years old. Just bc it's not public school doesn't mean they aren't teaching/ he's not learning while he's there.
I would try limiting any sugar and caffeine. Maybe try some guided meditation on headspace.

Gogo quinoa (their quinoa only pastas, anything rice is awful) & corn flour pasta are the only gluten free pastas I recommend. They’re really good. I’m doing a low gluten diet to ease into gluten free and I don’t feel like I’m missing out with those two options! And Costco has the best gluten free breads! We freeze ours & it thaws really well. Hi Meg! Just wanted to point out that as someone who has psoriasis, it is considered an autoimmune disease. I have found little things that help to keep it at bay but I know with winter coming it tends to flare up. I do eat a lot of bananas but I am interested to know what other foods you find to keep the inflammation down. Thanks!

Gluten free pasta taste the exact same as regular pasta. I have celiac and been gluten free for awhile and in this day and age you can pretty much get anything in gluten free. Trader Joe’s has amazing options if you have one near by!

Barilla has really good gluten free pasta , I get the penne . Macaroons are gluten free .
Chicken tortilla soup is gluten free , switch flour tortillas with corn tortillas. Watch out for candies + sauces , most of them have gluten in them along with Starbucks syrups. As far as bread - Schär is the best I’ve come across but it honestly depends on what kind of bread you are looking for .

Meg, I hope you’re doing well! I have been going through health issues this year as well, and had gotten many tests done such as blood, and MRI. It’s a scary thing and although we aren’t fighting the same battles, I can relate to you. I am sorry people downplay UA-cam as a job, and that it’s super easy. We have similar personalities as I also have anxiety and I had a YT channel w my bf, a couple one, and YT is far from easy. Editing videos, taking care of mental health, and the other challenges of uploading and maintaining a YT channel is exhausting. I hope you take care 💗 your lips look great btw
