He then followed me around after he broke up with his girlfriend, crying and saying he never liked her anyway and “didn’t need no bitch” he also asked me out like a week later and proceeded to sob when I declined…strange few weeks later

Honestly , though, I’m neurodivergent and practiced by myself by watching movies etc. neurodivergent people are amazing lovers. We are awkward at acting like neurotypicals and making bland small talk and vanilla stuff. But I think the additional factor here is that he may be asexual. Most people will be obsessed with learning because of hormones. But if he’s not interested in sex, why would he care about kissing? Right? So that’s probably why he’s so bad at it. He feels pressure to find a girlfriend and maybe he’s not aromantic (just asexual). It makes more sense to me. I have ASD 1, and am a woman who dates men. I am often told I’m good at kissing. I hate when people (often neurotypicals) use their tongues. It grosses me out when people open their mouths wider than the other person’s mouth. It’s about the lips. I think the so called “coach” wasn’t doing a good job describing how to kiss either. She didn’t guide him by kissing him. So he’s expecting women to be completely still when he kisses them which makes no sense. It’s like “how to kiss a corpse” instead of telling him exactly how to kiss and show some movie kiss to demonstrate. Different people kiss differently as well, and you learn to mirror them. I didn’t like the coach and the show seems very manipulative/ exploitative as well.

Dated a guy named Josh. Safe to say that five years later I still have nightmares and one of my biggest triggers is being held by my shoulders. He was extremely emotionally abusive and occasionally got physically abusive. By the way, this was in middle school and he threatened to kill himslef if I broke up with him. Broke up with him almost a month later. Still haunts me to this day, but I am currently in a happy relationship with a person that takes the time to understand my past and is gentle and patient with me.

i'm not gonna try to speak for Roxanne but i can say i recognize that body language in myself, i've been sexually abused before and i'm now mostly recovered and in a loving relationship and i love kissing and cuddling with my boyfriend but sometimes it becomes overwhelming and i tend to tense up and have that kind of body language because it's just a bit eh you know, im still enjoying it but it's just hard for me, so once again not speaking for her but just a connection

My bad experience with a boy named Josh? It was MY FIRST KISS! I didn't want to kiss Josh; I was 10, and he grabbed me and kissed me. We weren't "dating" or anything, either. So, I grabbed his arm and twisted it up behind his back and made him promise never to do it again.
So, naturally, he then went into his house and grabbed a crowbar and came after me. His older sister wrestled the bar out of his grasp and sat on him until their parents got home.
I think he's still (sadly) homeless to this day. He came from a messed up family situation, and he seems to have gotten stuck in a pretty bad rut. I think about him once in a while and hope he's getting help.

One of the most frustrating parts for me was seeing the kissing coach give him no clear directions or critiques. She just kept going in and kissing him and telling him it was okay but could be better but never specified how. If someone wanted to genuinely help someone else learn how to kiss she couldve given advice on how to move his lips and what to do with his hands and how to get out of his head to just enjoy the moment. There was no teaching or coaching from the kissing coach so of course he didnt actually learn how to kiss better. Idk why that bugged me but he was clearly struggling because hes to much in his head and is overthinking his actions and no one actually helped him. Sometimes things that come "naturally" dont actually come natural to everyone and people need more guidance

I used to date briefly a man named Josh. He still lived at home with his mother at the age of 25. That should have been red flag one. Reds flag 2 was that he didn't have a car and couldn't drive a car without one of those breathlizers because he had a DUI. Red flag number 3 was a lot of times I would come over his house and his bed would be standing up with the fan on it. This happened multiple times. He would always make an excuse that he spilled something on his bed or his dog got up in the bed and made a mess. It did strike me as weird because I had never seen his dog ever get up on his bed. One day he ended up spending the night at my house and I woke up soaking wet. This was because he wet the bed. I woke up covered in pee. Like I mentioned earlier in the post. He was an alcoholic and he would drink so much that he would wet himself at night. I was so embarrassed for him. I didn't know what to do. It was at my house so I couldn't just leave. I didn't wanna wake him up and explain what happened. I was really tired. I wanted to go back to bed but I didn't want to lay in cold wet pee. Thank God, my bed had those spill proof covers on. So I took the covers off one side rolled it up to his side and put separate sheets on my side. When he woke up, I was still sleeping and I guess he noticed what happened so he never said a word and left without waking me. When I woke up, I had to literally take all the sheets off and washed them. He never spoke about it or I never brought it up. I know he knew I knew but it was an unspoken thing that we never talked about. We weren't together that much longer after. It would be one thing if he had a medical problem, but he was drinking to excess. Beware of Josh's.😂😂

My bad experience with a guy named josh: we met when we were both 15 and dated for a year. He broke up with me because he wanted to spend more time with his friends (who were super toxic but that’s another story) even though I would’ve happily given him space and let him hang out with his friends. His way of breaking up with me was telling me he had a surprise for me and then writing me a letter so he didn’t have to say it out loud. Then he told me I wasn’t allowed to hang out with his friends (that I introduced to him…?) anymore.
