i went to that same spanish school and stayed for three months. what a great experience. the gardens, the sauna, the fruit trees. And Martha is the best.
Out of curiosity what was your level when you started and did you leave fluent? I’m considering this but I’m an A1 beginner and want to be fluent
Bien venido a guatelinda saludos desde huehuetenango municipio cuilco
Que huevos compadre ,yo soy de guatemala vivo in USA y todabia no me animo a hacer lo que vos y tu mujer estan haciendo, congratulations and big balls
Thanks Fernando. Guatemala is a beautiful country. And thanks for the Spanish lesson, I had to look up, "todabia".
One of the best vacations of my life was spent on a week long trip to Guatemala. We stayed in a beautiful hotel in Guatemala city and booked a tour where we got to drive to lots of wonderful and amazing places. We hiked an active volcano, climbed ancient ruins, took a boat along a river to explore the jungle, even got to visit a local family. This country is amazing, wish I was there with you! safe travels!
Sounds amazing Nitram. Make sure you tune in for the next episode. We're going to Antigua, where you most likely hiked the active volcano.
Parece una pelicula cuando empieza y va conduciendo😊😊
I hope you guys stay together for many many years and have some beautiful kids.
I am from Guatemala that is awesome good for you....!
Glad to see you guys posting videos again 😊 btw I do appreciate watching the small stuff too.
Hola saludos desde xela 👍
Hola Israel
The Traveling Together Journal esperamos que regresen a Guatemala pronto de vacaciones
That was a fine market, I've never seen fish that fresh, and I love the spot where they park the dogs!
hehe. Those were some of my favorites too.
San Pedro is a cool town.
Good video God bless you 👍👍🚙
. I just relocated to beautiful, safe and clean Queretaro, Mexico as of 11-2-2021 from Waukegan, Illinois at 79.
.It is wonderful and intelligent to learn about other cultures. R.I.P. those killed in Mexico from Guatemala in a tracker trailer accident killing 55.
Congrats on your relocation
Toyota should sponsor you :D
Matt is such a party animal! Best line: ‘I think we should just give this guy some money and get out of here’. I can’t believe how sweet a deal the school was. And the campsite by the lake, wow.
The school was a great deal and we had a lot of cool experience in that town.
What a stupid video....silly shit. And use of...giggle... "gringos"....you're a little girl who needs to grow up...I'd be embarrassed to even be in the same room with you.
I speak Spanish as a second language since age 14.
Just jam a screwdriver through the filter and turn. Make sure you have the correct replacement because there is no going back.
I bought my every day Shopping Bag in the Market at Panajachel. Funny thing was it smelled of wood smoke so strongly that it lived outside on the porch of whatever Hotel we stayed in until I got it home for a deep cleaning. Antigua is one of my family's favorite destinations. We have Izamal that has a very similar vibe and is less than a half an hour away . Great Haircut BTW!
It's definitely a cool area. We had some fun and unique experiences there for sure.
New subscriber here! I seen you on Jamie’s channel when he videoed you two at the van build in AZ! I am enjoying watching your videos and following your travels! Very exciting couple! Awesome videos!

Keeep those videos coming "we love Jager" 🐶😍🐶😍👍
shout out to Dominican music on a Guatemala blog because, why not?
Because it's good music :)
I wish you would have demonstrated your Spanish after learning at the school.
awesome video guys! I always get excited when see a new video from you guys! keep them coming!
Good one guys San Pedro sure has changed since 1990. Naturally. Back then we paid about 5$ a night for a clean room .I noticed in one scene that a woman was glaring at the camera. We encountered that as well and were told that some Mayans believe a photograph can take from ones soul. Seeing that sure does help to remember those wanderlust years. Thank you. You both are very enjoyable to watch. Sorry you three. How could I forget Jager! See you in two weeks. Daydreaming Canuck.
Places are always changing. Gotta see them all before they change too much ;)
Jaeger says, HI

Gracias a ti Jonathan
Scariest thing in lake atitlan is the chocomil!
Even here in USA 🇺🇸 auto zone doesn’t have a oil filter tool that fits all sizes of filters.😏
True. Gotta have the right tool for the job, or it turns into a much bigger project 😅
@@TheTravelingTogetherJournal saludos cordiales amigos desde Kentucky.😇
Welcome to my country Gays
Just say “NO” to anything resembling a FRAM oil filter.
Why do they have a Spanish school there? Is it just for tourist?
Looks like a great time staying there.
My stomach is growling now looking at the food on your last night.
Can’t have to many shenanigans in a day...😬
My favorite vid of yours so far.
I think tourist started going there for the lake and someone started a Spanish school and now the area is known as one of the best and cheapest places to do Spanish lessons I think there are at least 4 schools in this town and more on other parts of the lake.
The town has a cool mix of touristy and authentic feel to it. Kind of hard to explain.
@@TheTravelingTogetherJournal what was the name of the school plz an is the area safe? Safe travels
@@rubylimey7614 Corazon Maya Spanish School. The town is safe. From what I hear the other towns on the lake are safe as well, but when we were in the area there were multiple reporting of armed robbery on some of the side roads leading into the area. We met a motorcyclist later that said he was shot at while driving one of the not-recommended routs, but the information is out there to avoid the known danger zones. If you are considering a long road trip like this, I suggest joining the pan American travelers facebook group. It's a good source of recent information from people who are on the road.
Hello and you MUST realize that the music you selected is Dominican Republic music, CLEARLY stated in the lyrics...
yeah, I like it
I believe that this question in best for Matt, Do you find more selection, better price, and overall better condition on vehicles in the South West of the US than compared to Hawaii? Mahalo nui loa brah.
Definitely.
Used vehicles are generally cheaper on the mainland than Hawaii. Everyone drives in the west, so city areas will have tons of selection. 4x4s are way cheaper than on the islands and if you get into the deserts in the south west you'll find way less rust. Happy hunting Guy
😎🌮👍
Nice 70s stach you have going on there Matt! Cool video and can't wait until the next one! Oh, I especially got a kick out of the oil change shenanigans
Thanks for watching and commenting Brian. Always helpful to know what you like/don't like.
I am from saudi arabia i like you shows. Is it save to travel central american???
We had a great time in Central America. Most places are safe, but like every country, there are less safe areas. It's best to look for information just before entering an area and ask the locals once you are there.
Good luck and enjoy your holidays
But make sure you tell how kind and cheap they are for the work you have done, !
300 Quetzal in dollars is 40
When we were there it was 7q to the US dollar
Please do came to somaliland
We hope to someday.
Do you know roughly how much you might expect to pay for spanish lessons for a couple hours a day for a week without accomodation in Guatemala?
Sorry curlaw. We didn't price Schools without accommodation
Wow that was cheap
Good deal right :)
I.mean.lakes
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to discover best way to learn spanish language try Megarno Spanish Software Magician (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.
